~Week 9/ 57-63 days from sprout ~Overall: Check End of Week Summary at bottom of page ~VPD: All over. Has been from 0.7-2.5 ~DLI: 30-35, due to transition and wanting to keep temp from being too high ~Feeding: Feeding day 70 ~Watering: Every 4 days Day 57 notes: Looks good today. Good recovery from lack of water that they suffered yesterday. Will be flipping these babies into flower in 3 days. I am going to water the day I flip or the day before. The clones still have not rooted. It has been 5 days so this is not great. Though I did leave the cloner off for a whole day on accident. Hopefully some of these clones take in the next couple days. If not I will take a few more from each plant and then send them into flower. I need to order a clip on fan and an airstone today as well. I need to do the following things before I flip to flower. a. I need to check for any light leaks and fix them, as I have 3 tents in the room and 2 of them will still be on 18/6. b. I Need to remove dehumidifier from the tent because it has a light on it/ could tape over the light. c. I Need to fix trellis net and find some way to make it more taut and even across the tent. Currently it kind of sucks. d. I Need to see roots from some clones. Day 58 notes: Looking good in here. All plants are essentially even at the canopy, and all have quite a few bud sites. Will take some leaves off the bottom of the plants in 2 days. Watering either tomorrow or day 60. Flipping to flower day 60. Day 59 notes: Looks good. Need to remove some leaves tomorrow before flipping to flower. Will also water tomorrow. Day 60 notes: Watered today and did some defoliation to the inner part of the canopy. Also checked the tent for light leaks, and the clones for roots, then flipped to flower. I ALSO fixed the trellis net to the best of my ability. I have the lights set to come on at 8am in the morning, and set to go off at 8pm. I would do it at night for better temp control, but this way works way better with my schedule. Excited to see these girls stretch. On another note, a few of the clones had Botrytis, and I threw the infected clones away. I am not sure why they got moldy, as I followed every step that I was told to by a more experienced grower; put clones in water right after being cut, put some type of rooting hormone on the cuts before putting them in cloner, keep small tent completely sealed and filled with humidity so that the clones can have a high humidity area with NO airflow, and watch DLI. I did all of these things but I threw away almost 20% of my clones today due to botrytis infecting them. I am guessing that there was too little airflow, or that the temp dropped into perfect botrytis zone. My light in the 2x2 has electrical problems so it constantly shuts on and off. If any clones live then I will use them for my next cycle, and if not, I can get some barneys farm seeds or something similar. I want to try JOTI(Jordan of the Islands) but JOTI is pretty expensive so I will for sure want to keep clones, and soon I will have to transport all of my grow equipment elsewhere, so I cannot have any clones that need transportation. I will be revamping my cloning tent before cloning again. Namely getting a new light, and an intake and outtake fan. This would allow me to have constant airflow so I would not have to worry about Botrytis. Day 61 notes: Did some weaving through the trellis net today. I will add one to two more nets by the time mid flower starts, but anything not within the top 12 inches of the plant will be used strictly for edibles. Anything under the lowest net after stretch is getting Lolli-popped. Of course, the tent is not as full as I would have hoped, but I think that after the stretch is over the tent should be entirely full no problems. Also had some mycelial growth in one of my pots that I could see which is a really good sign. Day 62 notes: Did a bunch of defoliation today. Humidity kept rising and reached 70% a few times at night. I saw some standing moisture and wanted to make sure that the airflow would be sufficient to prevent mold. Day 63 notes: More weaving through the trellis net. Keeping canopies even everyday trying to fill out the net and also allowing the lower growth to shoot up above the nets as they are now. End of week summary: Good week. Some worries about insufficient airflow, but that is no major concern. I will have it fixed within the next few days. Misc. comments: Some of the clones molded, and some have roots. I do not know how many roots the clones need before being able to take a transplant. I am going to try to grow the

I am guessing its not an issue since cannabis photoperiod is a long night, so a little more "night" won't hurt, but would it confuse the plants or something? I would appreciate the insight.

Nothing to worrie about! I can insure you that you will not face any issues because of this. Only when you have a constant light leak during your dark period your plants might get stressed, reveg or become hermaphrodite. But a little dark period during the light time does not harm your plant. It will only cost you the photosynthesis during the time beeing dark instead of light.

Vpd has been pretty close to ideal, the pot had 1 gallon less soil so could be missing out on some nutrients? Possibly Potassium? Otherwise not sure what it could be. Does not appear to be N deficiency because the leaves are affected from the top too. What should I do to fix this

Pure and simple potassium deficiency. Add a p/k booster to your routine or up your dose if already using one.

What's going on with these clones? Not sure what it could be. They could possibly be rootbound. They should have been transplanted a few weeks ago but I did not have the space.

This problem is caused by wrong pH from the medium and a nutrient lockout because of that. The issue with cannabis plants is that they are only able to take up nutrients within a small pH window, which ranges from about 6–7 when growing in soil. If the pH is lower or higher than that, the plant cannot take in nutrients, even if they are present—thus spurring nutrient deficiencies via "nutrient lockout". You need to flush the soil. Just follow these steps. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-and-when-to-flush-marijuana-plants-n312

I know that it is not overfeeding, and I also know that it is not lockout. PH could be off, but I do not think so. So, what deficiency is this?

Hot dam them are some nice looking plants! typicality potassium gets yellow on the edges vs purple. purple coloration can also be caused by cooler temps and end of life, If its brown and crispy and curled up it normally means its over fed. Given that potassium is mobile I'd expect this to be on the lower growth first vs top. I feel this could be lacking a bit of Magnesium but could also be natural fade as your coming to the end of your grow. If you wanted to you could add a bit of epsom salts into the next water and call it a day. Little goes a long way, 1/4 teaspoon per plant for the size of them and monitor if it continues. FYI: We will not be notified of any reply or tag [@] in the questions part of the website, if you need to reach out with other information use your DM "direct mailbox" in the bottom right hand corner of the page. it looks like a little paper airplane icon. Best Of Luck!

I took these clones 7 weeks ago and never got around to transplanting them. As you can see, they are rootbound, stretched, and stunted. My question now is, is there any way I can make these clones usable? If not, it's a lesson for next time, but I want to use these clones.

I honestly don't see why not.... once you get them into larger pots, you can top the ones that have stretched ... what to do with the stunted ones really depends on how/why they were stunted but if you tend them carefully, maybe even think about topping them as well to get new growth going, you could have quite a massive grow going from the looks of it! I wouldn't give up on them - not at all! Just get them into larger pots and get going! :-D Good luck...

How much should I be worried? She did not touch any plants directly. I cannot be certain that she had any mites on her. I am just being cautious. What is the best course of action? If my current flowering plants get mites, can I wash the mites off and still use the flowers

Good that you're being cautious! I always have a bottle of Dr. Zymes Eliminator in my stash of supplies... this or some Spinosad will take care of any leaf sucking insects (spider mites, aphids, thrips, whiteflies) and both are organic so they can be used right up to the day of harvest without any harm to either the plant or what you're smoking/using of your harvest. When you use either one, make sure you're spraying just before lights out. Good luck - hope she didn't bring any with her, although I feel it's pretty safe to say she didn't ... they usually don't attach themselves to humans and travel around like that.... so rest easy but prepare for the worst!

I will be growing 4 plants in 10-gallon pots and then transitioning to a raised bed next year. I need a way to distribute water evenly around the 10-gallon pots. I have noticed that blu-mats only water in a 6-inch radius and depth. Any way to make the water distribution better?

I would recommend 1 tropf blumat and 1 maxi blumat per pot, the maxi blumats are longer so will start watering when the bottom of the pots dry out. I would also add 1 extra drip emitter per blumat to cover a bigger area. that would make up to 4 irrigation points per pot and should be sufficient for a 10-gallon pot. And you would have enough equipment to just transfer over to raised beds without buying new stuff. Even thou I would recommend the BlueSoak for beds.
