I am still waiting for my grow tent and 315w LEC light + nutrients My order has been stuck in the delivery queue for the last few days. Hopefully, I can start the third week under the proper setup. I have been growing these ladies for the last 2 weeks in my closet under CFL lights with no nutrients. They look just fine for now but I guess they need some nutrients very soon.
The plants were under CFL 150w for almost 20 days in the closet before I moved them in a proper grow room under LEC 315w. I have also transplanted them into 3 gallons smart pot using air dome set up. The soil mix was fine for the first 2 weeks and the plants didn't require any nutrients. Starting day 16-17 they started to show some Nírtogen deficiency and thus I started giving them BioBizz - grow into coco substrate.
I flushed the plants with GH subculture at the end of week 4. They seemed to be locking out nuts and thus the light yellow/green leaves. End of veg phase and the autos will go into pre-flowering starting week 5.
Week 5 - What an amazing week !!
No matter how much I have read in the blogs or seen videos on youtube, I got to learn a lot more about growing cannabis during this week and how to read your plants by understanding your garden. I think I am in a sweet spot on the watering and nutes cycle for this strain. I started off with 1/3 to 1/2 amount of nutes and started increasing it slowly and giving the full dose of nutes in the last few days of Week 5. The nice green colour is back and growth is absolutely amazing.
I am planning to continue giving grow nute during thr next week but with only 1/4 dosage.
Looking forward to week 6.
Week 7 went pretty smoothly. These ladies are growing very fast and almost doubled in size during flowering.
At the end of Week 7, I started to see some brown spots on the top leaves. Perhaps, I need some Cal-Mag supplement? However, I am inclined not to add any chemical nutrients in this grow. Hopefully, these ladies will hold up for the coming 4 (I guess) weeks without needing extra supplement.
25.09.18 - On day 51 I started adding Bloombastic and Bud Candy. I suspect the plants are lacking a bit of Cal-Mag and needed a bit high percentage of "P". Keeping the nutes on about half dosage.
31.09.18 - Was away for 4 days and didn't notice any stress on the plants and they weren't looking desperately hungry. Buds are forming nice and the smell is very aromatic.
Probably one more week before the harvest time. I will start flushing these ladies with water soon and stop using nutes for the next one week.
I have ordered Carson MicroBrite Plus 60 -120x LED microscope which is en route and thus I am not absolutely sure if I should start flushing or not.
Ladies are looking nice and smelling very potent.
How much time do I have left before I can harvest these ladies? Today is day 42 of flowering and according to Sensi, the flowering time is 45-50 days.
Tomorrow I am going to start week 11 and I am wondering if I should start flushing the ladies or feed them for few more days.
Hello ! The best way to know if your plant is ready is to use a magnifier/loupe to watch at the trichomes , the trichomes ratio will tell you if your plant is ready or not and you will be abble to choose the kind of effect your prefer , let me explain : You have 3 time to havest , 1st when the trichomes are mostly clear and milky then you will have a clear effet and energetic high ,2nd if your trichomes are mostly milky then you will have a mixed balanced effect (it's better for you as the skunk is a sativa/indica hybrids) and 3rd if your trichomes are mostly milky & amber then you will have a big stone. But in your case if you don't have the time to buy a magnifier you can (I don't recommend it) wait for a week or 10 days more than the breeder told you , in your case you will chop around day 57-60. 20.10.18 - Day 75 (Flow 47) - Started flushing today these ladies. I hoping to flush them with plain water for at least 1 week. I will also be looking out for sugar leaves yellowing in case they start to turn yellow early. Looking from my cheap digital handheld microscope, I can see more than 50% of the thrics milky/cloudy.
These ladies have been chopped on day 91. Most of the thrics are very milky/cloudy with very few ambers.
I have done the wet trim and branches are hanged upside down to get dry in the closet. I will update the harvest report when I weigh the stuff.
I quickly dried a couple of popcorn buds in a few hours using an infrared mushroom heating mat to try out the smoke and I am very impressed with the quality. Buds smell very citrus/lemon and covered with some nice frost and very sticky. I felt like I wanna wear a perfume which smells exactly like this :)
Smoke effect is very relaxing and euphoric. Daydreaming or night sleep works both when using this stuff. However, In order to taste/smell and feel the real effect, I need to wait for the buds to get dry and cure for at least a week. I will update the harvest report with more pics and experience soon.

Very resistant plant. I have had ph problems since the beginning that I was unaware of until I started using digital ph meter. I would not recommend liquid ph tester for untrained eyes. Irrespective of the problems the plant grow beautifully and even recovered nicely from the transplant and relatively lower side of the RH.
It took around 90 days from seed to harvest and took couple of weeks longer than the breeder suggested flowering period in order to cover the buds with full milky thrics. The smell was very aromatic in the last couple of weeks of the flowring period. I would suggest this strain for a new grower because it can forgive many first timers mistakes.000000000
Hi @GreenZone! Honestly no one can tell better than you, because you're the only one who can take a close look with a magnifier/microscope. The trichomes onto the buds should have changed from thin & clear / transparent to fat & milky / cloudy / opaque. Once you'll get only milky trichomes, the harvest window is open! For an energetic high, harvest before the first amber trichomes appear. For a couch-locking high, you'd rather harvest once 20-30% of the trichomes have turned amber/red, you'll get more CBN/CBD but less THC. @Stick, Thanks. Yes, I am aware of looking at the trichomes method and chart. I ordered a microscope from Amazon which is still en route. I was just sceptical when to start flushing and how long should I do it in my Coco medium (mostly organic nutes).
I would like like to give a proper flush before the trichs start to turn amber. Hopefully, I will get the digital microscope in a couple of days. I am looking for a more energetic high with a slight mix of body high since I am growing a hybrid.
Shall I start flushing when all / most of the trichs have turned milky or just the half of them? I believe 1 week of flush is probably the right amount of times till the plants use the reserved remaining energy from fan and sugar leaves and the trichs are 10% amber.
I will harvest them during week 13 which has started today (will upload a few pics of week 12 in a moment). I didn't spot any amber thrics. Most of them are milky white with a few clear ones. I will harvest them as soon as I start to see amber thrics. I have chopped a really small bud site from the plant and I am drying that bud on a mushroom heating mat for a quick testing.

@Filippos, Not yet. I have had some problem with some nutrient deficiency. I have started giving them nutrients and transplanted them in coco now. I will start LST in coming 2-3 days and later on, I will do Scrog.
