Welcome do my matero blue diary. Took this one a little longer to get going with mistakes and set backs sites finally going and not doing so bad she's roughly on day 18-20 and will be kept in veg for another 3 and and then I'll flip after I've locked in a decent shape. Welcome to my Matero Blue diary from Kannabia. She had some calcium powder fall on her. And it seems to have crippled her growth nearly. She is pulling through. Obviously she'll be left on growth for a few more weeks until I can get her going and let's see what happens. I topped her above the 4th and removed all the sickly leafs. She's been put under my p1000. As she was burnt also been so young as I was swaping them out. But was mistake as the light was too powerful as she was on 100% doing my flowering plants.

Welcome to my Matero Blue Diary from Kannabia. Veg Days 29-31. Finally she is getting some life back into her. She had multiple mutations. That crippled her early stages of growth, her main fan leafs were disfigured and I suspect had serious issues in energy conversion. I have had the IR/UV45 going on her the past 2 days.. her internodes are super tight and she could do with a bit of stretching. It'll also help build up her immune system and make for a more stronger plant and help with photosynthesis. You don't want to run IR on young plants unless you have a full understanding of how they work. As they trick the plant into thinking its in a shade, (as if she was been overshadowed by another plant, she can stretch if used for too long) there is a way it can be used with 630nm infrared. Then there is benefits to it. (Of which I've not yet developed the skills to push it past the point of stretching my small girls a little. As the autos that have came out of pre flower I'm sure they'll have some benefits in the process of photosynthesis. But, I can already see it working. Its helped flip 3 fems from what would of took a week+ its only been 3 days and man, pistils are already pushing up from the shoots. Can't believe it. I go into it in my 1st weeks of flowering in my Jungle Lava+Alien Moonrocks Diary. Its at to helping this girl do a 360. She's put on 5cm in 2 days. And has helped a little by stretching. I'm going to leave it there with it and just give doses of 2 x 1hr at the start and 2hrs before lights out. Then I put my girls (fems) to sleep with the far red 730nm IR (I turn it on for 10m after lights go out) and it puts them to sleep in 5m as opposed to the 2hrs it should take for it to stop (photpchrome) the process it takes for your plant to sleep.. therefore increasing your grow for your fems to 13.5hrs and you jst let them sleep for 10.3hrs. It allows your plant to take in more ppfd increasing your yields and the IR also increase photosynthesis. (This I've yet to read up on) maybe the increase in photosynthesis is the extra 1.5-2hrs your fem gets?? Currently she's on a 300 ppm grow feed from GHS + 110ppm.ambient tap water. Have finally got my proper Epsom salts so gave all my plants that are above the 3 wk veg stage a 260ppm cal + Epsom salt feed. 75ppm of epsom salt (mag/sulphur) + 75 of cal from (powder from GHF) + 110 ambient tap water. Veg Days 32-34 think she's turning the corner. Has put on some decent hight. Glad about that. Hopefully she'll start to take off.. she's not men tipped that long. But, think. She got stunted. She had a rough time of it with a bad transplant by man handling. But she's not doing so bad now. Mars Hydro IR will be used to stretch this lady some and when I flip after I've her issue sorted she'll be doing full time under the SP 3000. VEG WEEKS 6-7 Days 36-46 After a very rough start. I had her growing just fine and now again at the end of week 7 she is running into mag issues again. So I've given her a 300ppm dose of mag sulphate epsom salts (make sure no lavender or anything like that in it if you decide to use. Veg Days 45-47 plant responding well to coming out of mag lockout. Am going to hard LST/DEFOL and then I'll be flipping her. 48-49 went through the plant. And I'm overall happy with the shoots not been too long. So, I should be able to achieve my goal of full length colas. Instead buds on a plant. The top few shoots are a bit small. But, they should pop quicker been at the top. Giving the time to catch up. As she leans mainly indica. I should be able to achieve my goals. I'm going to drop the PH to 5.7 in all feeds for this girl aswel as the other kannabia grow, as they were both uprooted and started at the same time. That and these are the only 2 plants i'm having issues with. So, PH will be dropped, ranges from 5.5-5.7 will be the goal and let's see can get these girls really going. If she comes out of her mag/sulphate issue I'll do my defoliation plan for my vegging plants, shape 1st of course and then defol and leave for a week or until I'm happy with growth and just before flipping ill prep her for her preflower defol plan (will add link when on other device) Thanks to my sponsors from Kannabia. A lot of her side nodes, have also taken off growth wise, (which I didn't want).. there is still a lot of shoots very close to the nodes. But, not enough to make colas. Took 6-8 days. From week 8 into wk 9 on a 13.30m and 10.20 off with 10m of IR far red after lights out. Pre Flower Days 1-14 Days 59-63 finally stopped growing upwards. Gonna give her a defoliation 2 days later. Flower Days 1-3 Gave her a good defoliation and took all her sickly leafs she had before her flip. Had lots of mag issues. So, to see her health going forward. I had to remove all of that. As she needs to be in tip top shape and hopefully will go through fattening as trouble free as pre flower was. She's developed very white thick pistils heads going up and down the nodes. If I apply more LST and keep moving her about. I'm sure I'll get killer buds. Diet wise. She was on Short Flowering for the whole of pre flower 450-550ppm+110-105ppm tap nute ratio 16-6-26 and coming into her new week, I have started adding 150ppm of a 0-25-30 pk booster. In nutshell "you make your plant push extra hard and force her to dig deep and produce bigger buds, plant needs a good feed though, needs a few other things" best if you read it from the source. (GO TO JOURNALS IN GD, and you'll see it, "plant steering") she seems to be going grand. Has pushed through her mag issues. Just gotta me careful now as if I starve and stress her in this crucial phase. It'll affect the end products potency. Flowering has been pushed to nearly 14hra - the 15m it takes the IR 5-10m to work & then 5m for plants to fall asleep. Welcome to my Matro Blue Diary, sponsored my Kannabia, Mars-Hydro & Terra Power. Flower Days 29-34 Days 84-91 Plant growing well. The method of just increasing feeds as opposed to the ppm is tricky id admit. That and crop Steering has pushed her some days to feed on her leafs. And want just a bit of food. To be expected some with the methods I'm using. She's drinking like a horse. 1L easily a day if I wasn't crop steering. So she's on half of that every day. She's looking a small bit hungry but she's carrying that wks. And it hasn't gotten much worse. The buds are exploding. The pistils are been swallowed whole be the expanding swollen calyexs, they still have a ways to go also. They're already very hard. So maybe they'll get a small bit bigger and start the ripening phase. At least 3-4 more weeks. So, let's see. She's already smelling lovely. Very fruity. Diet: She's been kept on the same core values of short flowering for most of her grow, slight increases and a pk booster. But instead of increasing the ppm I've upped the volume of feeding from once a wk to 2 every 6-7 days with a core PH from 630-670. Added a few things from Terra Power (Phenix, Bacchus, for taste and generally flowering nutrients and their enzyme Fire Yields, until I get my new products from Plagron & Terpinator these are my core taste Terpine Enhancers. They've stood me well. But it's time to try new things). Happy with the results thus far. Lights Mars-Hydro(s) SP 3000 & IR/UV45 IR adds 1-2hrs of flowering to your fem grows. Atm I'm running 13.45hrs/10hr on/off. 5-10m of IR after lights out & 5m for them to fall asleep. The SP 3000 is been used in a 100cm2 tent. But I'm only using 30x100cm2 of that space. So I'm getting a very high value of PPFD/umol across my 8 fems. Its tight but, they've space. They didn't get a very long veg. And kept in the same pots.

Welcome to my Mataro Blue Diary, sponsored by Kannabia. Flower Days 35-39 40-41 Days 91-95 edit 96-97 Plant going well. Eating & drinking a lot. Nearly 1L of fluids a day. Have been keeping her on the same Green House Feeding ppm and doses g/l = ppm so .45 of a gram adds 450ppm or so to to your water. So Feeding is very simple. I've Ditched terra power as I had bad reaction in my veg tent. She's looking real nice. The hungry look hasn't gotten any worse. I've gotten really big buds. And there's still some fattening to go, not much. The Terpinator & I'll increase and lower her short flowering next week. Edited she continues to grow well. As for her still in fatthing, well, I think she's just coming to the end of that. Her leafs are showing light signs of fade. She might put on a small bit of mass, but not much. Her buds are rocks. I can't see her buds lose much mass in drying, as by the time she's ready, will be in the height of summer and the coldest I can get my dry room will be 21-23c, (far from optimal) so, choosing a drying method will be key here. I'm not sure if I should try prolong her drying period, or do a soil dry. "she'll be left in her pot under a low light and will be pult just before leafs shows signs of stress. And then drying will be half complete without the loss of any potency.Also, this was her last wk on extra flowering hours. She'll be going on an 11-13 next wk. And I've switched the light on/off upside down. The light comes on during the day now. With colder temps during the night. Gladly the light on temp hasn't changed but .5 c so glad with that. And nighttime temp is 19c.. Diet: Short flowering & flower boosters from Atami are been given. And the diet is going steady. I've gotten rid of Terra Power nutes for plagron, just one Enzyme makes things a lot easier. I've also got power roots, but not advised at this stage. Started her on Terpinator "The OG one". 2ml/l added 350ppm to the water. Its given Weekly by itself, 1L. Also, got a few samples "bloom finishers" that have real good pedigree on here. "Atami" 3 dif types. So, look forward to seen what they can add to the huge ROCK HARD buds, the feed with .35 of liquid from each is 450ppm. Lights SP 3000 & IR/UV45 are been used, to great affect i might add. Look at the size of the buds. And, they're not even finished building up yet. Amazing job. Soon, I hope to be going full tilt into growing and improving upon quality/pic appeal/yield by adding a full Gas Co2 Pro-Leaf kit. This will be the last wk the IR will be used to help give extra flowering. It'll still be used. Just to give her more sleep time now for ripening.. so really she'll be getting 12.5hrs of sleep as opposed to 10hrs. As I'll be doing an 11-13 on-off for ripening. Which she's already in. Buds are lovely. Nice and sticky. Very dense with dark orange pistils and packed with long Trichomes. I'd say there's about 5-7 days left. Diet Short Flowering + Atami PK boosters with a few of things from Plagron. Lights SP 3000 + IR/UV45 Used to great affect. Love this duo and what it provides is just astounding. Grew really well. As I said topped early on during veg. And trained her with LST the wk before flipping and adjusted during. Defoliation was done as a move node training tool, aswel as crop steering "water starvation" to make the plant produce bigger buds from her own steam. With heavy airflow through the grow it make for a real strong girl that loved life right till the end and produced close to 2oz of dried bud. Trimming was an ease. Very sticky and fruity while trimming. Notes of pineapple and an earthy scent, (like a wooden forest). Very fruity as I said with notes of citrus also but overwhelming blueberry scent that has dominated her scent after 2 weeks curing. Was burped 2x a day 1st week . And now its done once a day. Blueberries are so lush and ripe it's like holding a handful of fresh picked fruit.
