12/1:
I sprayed them with Boomboom spray today.
They are doing well. The Cheese is acting more like a normal plant now, but one of the Bubbleguns is paler than the other...seems to be genetic, although I've been very busy with work and underwatered them a bit.
12/7:
Been suffering with kidney stones for a week and my plants are also suffering as a result...😕
12/9:
Fed today...I feel better and my plants are looking better....whew!
12/10:
Will switch to 12/12 tonight. and turn on the extra reds. Will also begin UVB stressing immediately.
12/11:
Flipped to flower.
12/12:
Fed today and sprayed with boom boom spray and axiom harpin proteins. I also added a tablespoon of Happy Frog Cavern Culture to the pots before watering it in.
Got the DIY CO2 generator going with a fresh batch of sugar and yeast.
12/16:
Fed today. Good week in the garden...plants are looking great...stretching has commenced.
12/17:
New week...I removed the smallest plant from the garden, so everybody has a little more elbow room now.
12/18:
The pale bubblegun protests about too much N, but the other one has no burnt tips at all..
The little Zkittlez is stretching dramatically now..catching the taller one.
The Cheese is stretching nicely too...and has a nice structure...allowing much light and airflow throughout the plant.
12/19:
Fed today
12/24:
Fed today
1/14:
Fed today. The Cheese is getting fat and reeking with a funky odor! The Zkittlez and Bubbleguns are fattening nicely as well, but they smell more like candy.
1/18:
Fed today and rearranged. Increased UVB exposure by another 30 mins per day
1/21:
Fed today.
1/25:
Fed today. Switched from Beastie Bloomz to Cha Ching and started adding LiquidSoil to remediate the soil.
1/29:
Fed today. Cha ching, Signal, Sweet & Sticky and Liquidsoil only. Increased UVB exposure by another half hour in morning and evening, for a total of 4 hours daily... "Sweat for me, bitches!"
Next feed will have only sweet & sticky, signal, and liquidsoil....then just a good liquidsoil flushing, and the soil will be ready to use again.
I'm a little reluctant to cut NPK later this week because they're still fattening up, but continuing the carbohydrates plus whatever is left in the soil should be enough building blocks for them to assemble into flower parts if need be.
I'm germinating the next crop in a couple of days and will need the closet in about 2 weeks...
2/5:
Fed the Cheese today with Cha ching, but everybody else is just getting signal and liquidsoil. They are ripe and almost ready!
2/7:
I harvested the Bubbleguns and Zkittlez today..all 4 plants were very heavy.
The Bubbleguns smell sweeter than the Zkittlez, but just barely...
The Zkittlez will weigh a little more, but the Bubbleguns will tip the scales nicely, too.👍
The Cheese is getting another week...that cola is so friggin fat and frosty!💪
Tastes like candy on the inhale, but kushy on the exhale. Leans a little indica on effect...pretty stoney. Doesn't really remind me of AK47 or Bubble Gum, but I really like it.
So glad I let this one go a little longer...it's a real face-ripper. It gets me so high that you'd think I was Asian. Diesely-cheese at harvest, but after 6 weeks of curing, it's really mellowed. Smells a little like parmesan cheese and funky feet.
This cheese plant was kinda slow to put on the trichomes, but she eventually frosted over really well. The plant smelled pretty skunky while growing, but the produce after 6 weeks of curing is parmesan cheese and funky feet. The taste is earthy/evergreen with a hint of kush on the exhale.
Fat, stinky, dense colas on a tall and lanky plant. Her lower buds weren't as dense as I'd like, but it squished into some really wonderful rosin.
Final thoughts. She's a little light sensitive until well into flowering, but can eventually take all you give her. She needs plenty of nutes, and supplementing with silica is advised. Her branches weren't as robust as they needed to be to support the fatass buds she produced, and silica really helped make her branches more pliable.
Potency: 8/10
Yield: 7/10
Aroma: 8/10
Flavor: 7/10
Bud density: 9/10
Bag-appeal: 8/10
Best Zkittlez I've grown to date. Absolutely delicious...candy on the inhale and exhale. So friggin sweet! The buzz is pretty kickass too...not super intense, but very bone-warming and long lasting effects.
The plants were easy to grow and offered some kickass produce. Buds are extremely dense and smell like a candy store.
Out of the three Zkittlez breeders I've tried, this is definitely my favorite to date. More fragrant, more delicious, more potent, more bud density, more produce...love it!
Plant A: 154g
Plant B: 168g
Spliff Seeds ROCKS!
@Sciolistic_Steve,
Ya, it must be funny to watch a broken down old jalopy like me trying to race F1...
Helluva shitty winter for the SBG...except, of course, for the world-class ganja production...
