Seedling 1 has shown a lot of growth in a week.
Seedling 2 is still kicking. though it is developing slower, it looks like normal growth is coming in.
Lowered the lights to 24 inches on the 28th, everything responded well. May have been overcautious starting at 28 inches, but better to be safe than sorry with new equipment. If all remains well, I will go to 20 inches sometime this week.
I said I wasn't going to top dress, but got the itch to do it and had time. After chop and dropping the cover crop I added a mixture of dry ammendments to total a little over 1/4 cup featuring Buildasoils craft blend, neem cake, and glacial rock dust. To this I also added 2 Tbsp of buildasoils Gnarley Barley, and 1/3 cup of Kashi blend. I then covered everything with close to an inch of Pinto Bean compost, then sowed another small round of clover seed and lightly covered with mulch. This top dress was mainly for the worms to munch on, hence the rock dust to add grit to everything.
