TheBulldozerSicily What can I say.... now it's time to reap the fruits of our passionate work... today 16/05 and tomorrow 17/05 the plants will have their 48h of darkness before harvest, so soon there will be updates on the final result with our typical drying rack used to dry our buds. ALERT! In this cycle, there will also be another novelty, the 19" Vevor manual trimmer (which I can't wait to try and see the results trimmed by machine and not by hand anymore) speeding up the flower trimming process 🌸 even though the main buds will still be trimmed by hand, bud by bud.

TheBulldozerSicily What can I say, another stash has come to me!! The photos speak for themselves, I'm happy with the final result, and I saved myself the hassle of trimming thanks to the new device. We just need to wait for everything to dry to observe and taste the final result, and with the trim leftovers, we'll make magic butter for our cookie brownie recipes, essential oils, tinctures ....etc etc etc.... Good afternoon, I am very envious of your hydro setup. It's the exact one I wanted but they are no where to be found in North America nor will anyone from UK ship wilma systems to us over here. That being said I have settled for something similar available here in NA and I was wondering if you would be able to help me with EC potentially??

@@@@Billyandbarb, hey American friend! You need to adjust the EC based on the age of the plant, starting from seed with an EC between 100 - 300 and reaching the end of flowering with an EC of 3000 - 3500... just adjust with the products themselves, gradually increasing as the growth progresses.... it's very important to start with water that has a low EC... for example, I use demineralized water with an EC close to 0 and follow the product chart that I use. It's crucial to keep the pH between 5.8 and 6.2. Have a great day, buddy!

I will try demineralized water and add my nutes then take a ec reading. I am on my first days of week 6 on one run and week 3 flower on another ! Hope all is well on your side of the pond mate!!!

@@Billyandbarb, hey buddy, I don't want to confuse you at all, I was really confused at first too, but there are charts you can find all over the web, just follow the recommended parameters and you'll see you can't do without them... as for demineralized water, I use demineralized water because my tap water has a very high EC (700 - 900), and by adding nutrients I would easily go way beyond the EC for vegetation... in a previous diary, thanks to the help of another grower friend, I learned to measure the EC, my plants weren't growing, they were small, ugly, and all burnt... I didn't understand what the problem was, and indeed the EC was very high, and since then I've understood the importance of having optimal parameters based on the growth phase, there are many other things to know besides EC and pH, but I'm learning little by little too 😁 happy growing!
