First go properly with coco and fems. After the last fiasco with the orange bud and a 6 month grow, I've decided that I've evolved enough now to be trying a full photo run.

Humidifier is currently on full whack and I'm trying to get it up to around 80 at least.
Temps nice at the min around 23
Will up the drugs as we go, planted the seeds into a hole with GREAT WHITE SHARK.
Interested to see how these go, excited to get started.

Both of them are coming along as you'd expect this first week.
I've got the humidifier pumping at max capacity and I've been struggling to get the RH above 80 it's been hovering around 65-70 which isn't ideal at this stage I know. That new extractor fan I've not turned it up as of yet, it's been on 0% on the dial since having it running, I may need to get a new humidifier to get the RH up.
This is my first full go with coco, I've made the conversion from soil, so I imagine I'll run into some issues along the way but we live and learn, looking forward to seeing how these go.

There's some rust appearing on the leaves, I'm gonna guess it's light burn as I've had it running on 100% I've now turned it down to 50%.
Added biobeaven and upped the grow also both at 2ml/l.
Calmag at 1ml/l

Training advice. I've been doing autos for a while and I'm used to lst. This being my first fem run, I'm wanting to keep the height of these as uniform as can be, any tips on when I should start training them and any opinions/suggestions on things I can do to increase my yield.
you can top sooner than lst. but if you lst too early it realyl doesn't do much but can definitely shock the plant. you bend it over with a few growth nodes and usually the lowest is trash anyway, so where is this growth being spread out?
I liked to have more than just a nub for axilay buds before i bend it over. tiny with a hint of leaves is better and a little more growth even better than that.
anchor the bottom. bend 45 degrees between axes of growth nodes and you can use both sets instead of cutting off the downward facing ones. As long as the plant hasn't gotten woody / rigid, it's not too late and no loss for waiting unless it's overgrown at that point, of course.
tbh, in your space with that many plants... i'd top after 4-5 nodes, prune off the lowest 2 branches as they usually are trash. and just train the remaining 4-6 branches to grow evenly and you will have a packed tent and all plants can grow symmetrically and fit well. should do well either way. you may need to splay out the top most branches until the lowers catch up, then you can let it go vertically all together. by that time they should be out a ways from central area, which will be a good thing. interloc that growth between pots.

Both look very similar in structure which is good. Both have been topped. They've responded rather well, they do have some tips beginning to burn so I'm going to increase the mycochum as that's 1-0-3, creepysteeve said to increase k by 5%. With that comment Steve you showed how far behind in the game I am lol. I'm needing a product to tell what k it's got and go from there lol appreciated tho all the same pal.
I'll get that increased, they will be due a big dose of feed tomorrow anyway so I will increase that to 3ml/l as that's the best way I'll know how to just increase the K. Steve pal I'm going to be going down a rabbit hole now learning about DLI and how to work out ratios of nutes to be way more specific. I'll get there one day.

They look like they've got some k def recently as a response I've added b52 and dropped the mycochum, I'm going to add some nirvana the next few days to get some more k in the mix.
Lst and defoiled both have took the kicking and took it well.

I've added nirvana as that's just K, one of these looks like some K def was kicking in, also some N tox was developing. I've stopped using the plant magic calmag and got the biobizz version as its N free to be on the safe side as the rest of the base nutes have more than enough N to be seeing us through flower Upped the b52 this week to 2ml for that extra K kick. I'll be using bud Ignitor next week, adding bloom and dropping the grow week by week. Exciting weeks ahead 🙌
Late update due to me being a prick mainly, I'm schizophrenic digital world is exactly that another world. For the last 18 months the real world needed my input more. I've got 4 of these growing at the min loved the strain last time. Canny remember the exact yield the 2 plants gave me last time but I remember being happy at least.
@Aldo90, yeah spot on , I’ve not grown any Tropicana or smoked it but it’s on my list lol , list is getting so long .. I haven’t even had time to grow green crack yet and that was years ago lol . Your girls are looking awesome man can’t wait to see all that bud
@Rangaku, cheers pal. They did, both of the tropicana are similar phenos. They seem to be the quicker growing out of the 3 strains I've got in. I'll be getting more snaps and snips done this week then get the net in for a couple of weeks before flipping.
@Canna96, no mate, this is my first time doing these strains. I've been doing autos, got sold some fems mislabelled so I've made jump to fems. Seen the FF versions and thought why not lol.
