9/13/2018: 1 Sprout 9/14/2018: Only 1 of 5 seeds have germinated so far.... The other 4 seeds are now: * 2 in a glass with some water. * 1 directly in the Coco coir/Perlite * 1 still in the paper towels Usually the paper towel method is foolproof.

Wondering if someone could take a look at my plant. I think it was a bit hot yesterday, not sure if it is heat stress. Not sure if it is Nitrogen Toxicity either because of the dark leaves. Maybe this is normal? Can someone shed some light for me? Thanks!

This is your 1st grow?! It looks great. I see your slightly discolored tips, but in my opinion thats pretty common the further you go into flowering. If you're truly worried, then possibly flush and then add back the nutrients slowly, but i personally dont think you have too much to worry over. 7 weeks into flowering is pretty great, now she's just gonna plump up and color change...pistils etc. Happy harvesting.✌️

Flipped to an 18/6 schedule for 3 days before a full slip to 12/12 on Thursday. Not sure why, Maybe less of a shock to the plant? Probably makes no difference. Better on my power bill 😊

Runoff ppm is hovering around 1500 even though I'm only putting in around 1000. Lowered the nitrogen a bit didn't help much. Diluted nutes to about 850 and ran that through it. Would like to lower it to around 1200

Runoff is still high. About 1900. Only 1000 going in. Not showing any signs of issues though. Will monitor closely. Update: I poured 45ppm water into the tray and out into a solo Cup. It them hit 120ppm. I can safely say that the runoff ppm is so high because of the amount of salt and other particles it picks up from the metal tray 👌👍

Hi, can someone look at my picture called F57? Are those yellowish parts 'nanners'? They sure look like it. And if so, what does this mean?

Hello ! Yep I can see bananas on the F57 pictures and I'm not surprised as it happens frequently with Nirvana seeds since 2003 (as far as I can remember ). That mean your plant is a female dominant hermaphrodite which mean you have a low amount of bananas but still got some. If they did not opened then you are safe and you will not get seeds so you can remove them one by one carefully. If one already opened then it's not really sure you'll het seeds as the bananas cane late in flowering so the seeds will not have the time to be fully formed ( 4 weeks to get a perfect seeds ). Be careful and everything will be all right. I hope it will help you 😁✌️🏼

Hey my man they are Quantum Boards from Horticultural Lighting Group. Each board is up to 70w. I had to buy the power supplies and wire them myself. And build a frame. They do have pre-made ones for sale. I am pushing 480w total. 3000k spectrum

@PukkaBluez, they are quantum boards from Horticultural Lighting Group. I bought the boards and power supplies separately and did all the wiring and mounting myself.

@ACTreeC, thanks a lot man, I’m a newbie myself, so that’s a compliment! You can easily yield more than 4 oz with a 480W, one plant

Why did you use FloraBloom during veg instead of FloraGro?? I was under the impression that FloraBloom is for when the plants are flowering no?
ACTreeC
ACTreeCcommented6 years ago
@Kylex89,I used the two part version of it. Google the h3ad formula for Coco. Apparently there's enough nitrogen in the micro and the bloom to do the job. I tend to agree

Stick
Stickcommentedweek 36 years ago
Hi @ACTreeC! Well I think I see a purple stem (Phosphorous def), a [single?] burnt tip (Nitrogen toxicity), droopy leaves (overwatering) and curling-upward borders (heat stress) so there are many things that could go wrong in your medium/feedings, I can't even tell you where to start, but will take a look at your next update. Now as mentioned by others, the best way to ensure you're giving the right amount of nutrients is to get an EC-meter, otherwise you won't be able to maintain this plant healthy until harvest. Keep us up-to-date, and happy growing 👊

Excellent canopy you made there! If you don't mind me asking, how much experience have you had before this grow? Its looking dank 😎
ACTreeC
ACTreeCcommented6 years ago
@HighTV, hey there. This is my first grow. I attempted some soil grows in the past but everything died very early LOL. This is my first dabble into hydroponics and I love it, I was a chronic over waterer and now that's not a problem anymore. I am going to harvest in about 10 days, maybe a little early but I'm going away for the holidays. Thanks for the kind words
