Possibly I started too late (August the 17th) 43º lattd. I used All Mix Biobizz substrate. Just a nettle slurry spraied every ten days. Slurry horse tail twice a month. Diatomaceous earth on the substrate surface and spraied neem + potassium soap twice a month. And some yellow and blue sticky traps (really useful for the whitefly and trips). I planted 3 seeds and in less than 36 hours they germinated. Two of them started growing really healthy but the third one (first one in germ) has some malformations like rounded first leaves or just one leaf on the second pair of them. From now, I'm going to follow the diary of one of the healthiest.

No nutrients. Just all mix Biobizz subtsrate. And spraied nettle slurry on the leaves. Under the direct sunlight except from 14h to 16h. I keep it at home at night when the temperatures are under 16cº outside.

Sunny week. The plant is growing really fast. It is a pity that the days are not long enough. Next year I'm going to start some weeks before. The plant seems really healthy and very strong. At the end of this week starts the pre flowering stage. And starts that good smell.

Although the days are shorter (10 hours of direct sunlight), the plants look healthy and vigorous. The first day of this week has been cloudy and humid but the rest of the week will be sunny and hot. I find a leaf with holes and I look for the culprit. I delete it manually. At the grow shop, they recommend applying Snake poison of Agrobacteria. I see that it is not really effective with the worms even though I apply it. I'll move to Bacillus Thurigensis immediately. The plant begins to flourish and sleeps inside each night to avoid the night low temperature (approx. 15ºC).

Although the daytime temperatures are about 25º, the plant does not drink too much. Watering once a week approx. This week, I reduced the fertilizer by half since it seemed to me that watering once a week and always with fertilizer might saturate the plant. It seems that it has stagnated in the total height but the lateral branches continue to grow. I have suffered an aphid attack and so I sprayed with neem and potassium soap. The next day, it seems to me that the flowers are somewhat burned at their tips. I applied the potassium soap as I always do on the leaves but I think the flowers have been affected by the dissolution of the potassium soap. Of course outside of sunny hours. Only the Dinamed auto plants have been altered. On the other hand, orange dots have appeared on three sheets. I have no idea what it is. I thought it was rust, but the truth is that the humidity is always below 60% (indoor nights) and the days are sunny. In addition, every 10 days I apply horsetail solution on the leaves. The plant has a good general appearance but in my opinion, the flowers are not very good. Flower burned? UPDATE After sending my doubts to the community, it seems that the problem with the brown pistils in the buds has been the application of potassium soap on them. I hope it can be recovered. Unfortunately, in auto growing time is gold. Thanks to @Stick, @Mrs_Larimar, @Athos & @mad_scientist for your help and support. I wish you many leafy harvests.

Can someone tell me if the flowers are burned? the ends of the pistils are brown. It may be that the treatment with potassium soap has damaged the pistils? I always apply them in hours without sun. Thank you very much !!

Hi @Jeanpol! Yep, those pistils didn't like your treatment. Avoid spraying anything onto buds, especially chemicals, you may ruin your final product, or even worst, loose your yield. As soon as pre flowers are building up, don't spray, but you can use a sponge to deploy your treatment onto leaves, if really needed (it takes more time but don't harm the bud-sites) I think they will recover if you stop spraying, but those buds might be affected and you may loose some weight. Keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Day43 On the first day of this week, it seems that the buds are recovering from my own attack of potassium soap. The pistils go back white. It's a pity to have lost 5 days of flowering. Luckily the days, although short, are sunny and not very humid. The girl still sleeps inside and receives direct sunlight all day long. Increase fertilization up to 60% approx in a relation of what's recommended by Biobizz. Just in case... I keep investigating the orange spots that appeared last week. I think it is due to a deficiency in Calcium or Magnesium. I am not sure about the diagnose, so for the moment..just wait and see. Day 49. It seems that the plant has increased its water needs. The temperature goes down little by little and the humidity of the air follows around 50%. You do not see many trichomes yet. The plant looks lighter (colour) in the peripheral leaves. So far I have maintained the fertilizers at 66% of what is recommended by Biobizz (all irrigations). I plan to increase to 100% of what is recommended during last 2 weeks of fert.

The week starts colder (5 degrees Celsius less during the day) and a cloudy sky. The yellow and blue stickers are working very well, especially with the white fly. Maybe it's because I look at she too often ;-) but I do not see that she is fattening his buds too much. Well, patience I guess. On the last two irrigations I am using rainwater mixed with tap water (48 hours in quarantine to eliminate chlorine). I do it to bring magnesium and calcium to the plant. Tap water is hard enough where I live.

Autumn becomes the protagonist. Days becoming shorter and more cloudy. The plant is still free of rain and rests inside the house at night when there are more humidity and cold on the terrace. Aside from the fan leaves (slightly more yellow), the plant looks healthy. On day 56 I do what will surely be the last irrigation with fertilizer. I only use bio-bloom and top-max at 75% of what is recommended by the manufacturer. I don't add bio-grow because I prefer to leave nitrogen compounds in nutrients. It seems that despite the use of non-chemical fertilizers, the cleaning of roots is essential, so from now on, water and patience. Water drained from the base of the pot stays at 1.3 mS /cm. I have nothing clear when starting with the flush. In theory, the harvest should be at 70 days. The weather forecast says that this week we will have few direct sun hours. I do not know if this indicates that the ripening of the buds will be slower. Let's see... Update day 59: I make the final flush with rainwater. About 20 litres. I do not adjust the PH. EC of the final drained water is about 0'1 um/cm.

From the final flush, the plant practically does not drink water. I have not watered during the last 8 days and the earth is still wet. Day by day, the leaves become more yellow. Trichomes are still transparent, so it is not time to harvest yet. In theory, it should be 70 days from seed to harvest. It will be a bit more. Update day 70: It has been raining for three days. Although the plants have been free from rainwater, air humidity is above 75%. And finally ... I found a small focus of fungi. I guess it's botrytis. I cut the bud affected with botrytis and place the plant inside the house at 20 degrees and, thanks to a dehumidifier, I keep air humidity below 60%. The trichomes are still transparent and I guess that I have to wait a few days for the harvest.

Grow Questions

When should I make the harvest (according to the colour of the trichomes) if I want to get the maximum of CBD? Some people say THC is degraded in CBD (late harvest), some say it is the opposite (early harvest ). I'm not interested in CBN. I would like to get the maximum of CBD. Thank you !!

Degrading THC turns into CBN, not CBD. For CBD strains you harvest as normal, when thricomes turn white/milky

Last week before harvest. The temperature outside has suddenly fallen. Days are cloudy and the sun is very shy. I keep checking that there is no other spot of botrytis. Since cleaning the roots, I have not been watered again. The plant is not thirsty at all. The fan blades are turning yellow. In order to facilitate the ventilation between buds, I cut some old leaves. I plan on harvesting on day 75 or 77. The vision of trichomes with a microscope is great. On day 72 it seems that there are already 20% of the trichomes that are becoming white.

I planted the seed in mid-August. Apparently a little late. The biggest problem has been that the plant has not enjoyed many hours of direct sunlight and that the temperature at the end of the crop has been quite low. The arrival of autumn has also meant that many days had been rainy. However, the plant never received direct rainwater. On the other hand, when planting a little late, the involvement of red spider or aphid has been null. I have applied nettle slurry and horsetail treatments to the leaves. Basically in the time of vegetative growth. One of my mistakes was sprayed on the flowers with a dissolution of potassium soap and neem oil. The flowers were affected and it took a week to recover. Very valuable time in autoflowering varieties. Next time I have to keep in mind that irrigating with rainwater I will have to control the addition of calcium and magnesium. The effectiveness of yellow and blue adhesive traps has been remarkable, overtaking against the whitefly attack and trips.
