T1 split half open in the water on 1/28
T3 had a small tail 1/29
T2 popped soil 1/31. Will use 2/1 as day 1
T1 had a membrane on one leaf when it popped soil. I was not able to remove the membrane and the leaf was shriveling up by 2/1 and by 2/3 it was gone. I added a small amount of fertilizer to feeding today. If T1 doesn't make it by next week, I'll move one of the guardsmen to the teapot.
Note: with the coconut liner, the soil around the seedling was getting dry often. I added a wet towel below the base of the teapot and increased watering to 4 tbsp around the sprout.
Of the 3 seeds T3 appears to be the strongest.
Tea n Crumpets for this old codger please! Shame about the wee membrane, I often find myself having to help get it off the wee seeds, hopefully, she makes it.
Hmmmm. 12hrs wouldn't be enough light time to keep these girls active long enough to make a good solid base. Try upping your DLI by adding extra photosynthetic reaction by hours given with a lower PPFD should give them what F1 autos need 16-18hrs.
Good luck with your titans.
@Natrona, 24hrs you do not want
Plants need rest. It allows them to turn off and back on with more vigor after a few hours rest. No plant would do well against 24 hrs and 18 or so if a clones were tested. There's a lot more info in relation to how important it is to give your plants a correct DLI. No 24hr run would be good.
Good luck
@StarLorr, I got this tea pot from a thrift store about a year ago for the small pot competition, but I didn't have time to grow to completion. So this is one of my experiments π§
@@Adam_Green, Adam, I moved Titan 2 to the teapot. T1 wasn't going to grow. Sh split open in the glass of water and stil had a membrane on one of the leaves.
