Hello friends and followers,
Welcome to my weekly update. 3/3-9
This has been a good week for learning.
1) Autos do not tolerate high stress training. Don't do it unless you are sure of yourself. I topped too late. This reduces yield, stresses the plant and delays harvest by a week.
2) Too much of a good thing is not good. My Teapot gal has a copper excess (I believe) and unless I take her out of the copper pot, she will continue to be stunted. Everyone needs a bonsai in their garden, so I'm going to grow her out.
3) Know your plants. Other than Zkittles, my grows have been a 4 plant variety using only 1 seed per strain. Without a comparison, you don't know what to expect. I have looked at other gromies gardens for appearance, size etc. Everyone grows differently with their multitude of nutes and high-tech equipment that it's fair to say that I have to base any improvements in my grow only on what I have done in the past.
Let the stacking begin; we are off and growing buds. RQS says harvest 70-75 days or 40-45 days of flower. My calculations β harvest of T3 will be April 13-18 and T2 15th-20.
Based on the size of my gals, and the number of bud sights, Iβm only estimating an ounce between both plants. This is one time I hope Iβm wrong.
For these Titans, I water 1- 2 liters every other day. Most of T2s (teapot gal) water (1ltr) runs thru to the bottom catchment. I leave it on the towel to keep humidity around the pot. T2 grew .5 inches and now shines brightly at 3 inches, T3 is 7.
I topped my T3 last week after she started flower. Big Mistake. Autos can be HST only in week 2 and never in flower. If you remember my week 2 stats, neither girl was over .5 inches tall and only T3 had the second set of true leaves. There wasnβt any growth to even begin training. Know your plant. Here I should have chsnged.my grow plan and.not done any training besides defoliation.
T3 in the 3-gallon air pot is larger at 7 inches now. I did a bit more lst on T3 tying branches down. The leave branches are at the most an inch long with most smashed up against the main stem. I also put a separator between the top 2 buds to give a bit of space. The stem on T3 is thick for being so small. A solid ΒΌ inch. If this gal was growing to her estimated height of 60cm, the main stem would be over an inch, like my Apollo grow. I will say for sure the RQS F1s are strong and sturdy.
With T2βs stretches her tippy top is just peeking above the copper pot rim. She is towering at 3 inches. I keep supplementing and foliar spraying with Cal-mag but the internodal chlorosis is still visible. Despite separating the copper pot from the soil with coco liner and coffee filters, I think Teapot gal (T2) has a copper deficiency.
β οΈ Slowed Growth,
β οΈ Fewer branches
β οΈ
Internodal Chlorosis
β οΈ Stumpy roots (I wonβt see this until I harvest and reveal the root ball). I'll show pics at that time like I have with my other diaries.
Given these RQS Titan are F1 hybrids and should be stable, I believe the height and the health differences are attributable to the copper wire teapot. They are in the same soil, same tent environment, same nutrient solution, same light, same everything except the growing container.
As I stated in previous discourse, I expected the overall plant to be smaller than T3 simply based on the pot size but did not expect to see such size differences so early, not to mention the nutrient issues.
Thanks for the likes and comments, I appreciate all the plant loveπ.
Have fun & love what you grow π
Sending love and light π«

Royal Queen Seeds is the first to off genuine F1 cannabis seeds. F1 hybrids are the future of cannabis genetics, offering unrivalled stability, vigor, and yields. They have eight (8) F1 hybrid strains including a CBD. Unlike regular hybrids, which can be created by crossing virtually any two cannabis plants, F1 hybrids are made by crossing two pure (also known as "inbred") genetic lines. The resulting seedlings not only grow bigger and stronger, but also maintain stable growth traits that result in a uniform crop.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to @James at @Royal Queen Seeds for giving me this opportunity to grow their quality seeds. It was a hard decision to select the strain to grow; Iβm excited to grow Titan F1.

Titan F1 stands out as one of the most potent options in F1 hybrids. Thanks to her genetic lineage, she produces sky-high levels of THC and boatloads of delicious terpenes. Plus, plants reach modest heights while churning out impressive yields.
Talented breeders created this F1 by crossing inbred lines that share a heritage with Blue Dream, Sugar Magnolia, and Amnesia.
Effects, Flavors, and Aromas of Titan F1: Powerful Effects and Sugar-Citrus Notes
Titan F1 will treat your olfactory system throughout the flowering phase, and beyond. This auto flowering variety unleashes a powerful terpene profile consisting mostly of myrcene, farnesene, ocimene, pinene, bisabolol, and limonene. Combined, these aromatic compounds offer notes of fruit, candy, and lemongrass. With the highest THC concentration within our F1 hybrid range, Titan F1 exerts a powerful and fast-acting effect that melts the muscles and clears the mind. Perfect for enjoying after a long day at work.
Growing Titan F1: Stealthy, High-Yielding Plants
With an average height of 65cm, Titan F1 can grow just about anywhere and maintain a low profile. This bushy plant features an indica morphology, a huge trichome count, and develops into a mature specimen in around 73 days from germination. Gear up for a uniform, consistent crop that will thrive in practically any environment.
Tea n Crumpets for this old codger please! Shame about the wee membrane, I often find myself having to help get it off the wee seeds, hopefully, she makes it.
Hmmmm. 12hrs wouldn't be enough light time to keep these girls active long enough to make a good solid base. Try upping your DLI by adding extra photosynthetic reaction by hours given with a lower PPFD should give them what F1 autos need 16-18hrs.
Good luck with your titans.
@Natrona, 24hrs you do not want
Plants need rest. It allows them to turn off and back on with more vigor after a few hours rest. No plant would do well against 24 hrs and 18 or so if a clones were tested. There's a lot more info in relation to how important it is to give your plants a correct DLI. No 24hr run would be good.
Good luck
@StarLorr, I got this tea pot from a thrift store about a year ago for the small pot competition, but I didn't have time to grow to completion. So this is one of my experiments π§
@@Adam_Green, Adam, I moved Titan 2 to the teapot. T1 wasn't going to grow. Sh split open in the glass of water and stil had a membrane on one of the leaves.
