Next feed in few days will be using a strong tea mix including B52 and Terpinator no other nutrients, I’m hoping there is enough in the soil to be used up during the stretch so I can focus on plant health during flower. This is important to me now more than anything as switching back to soil from coco feeding less is fine but I keep itching to feed more. Had some Heavy leaf curl when I watered last. A sure sign of overwatering easily manageable with good aeration of the medium I went 50/50 soil perlite as I want to use my teas to assist.
@PharmaZ, interesting ! i thought canna boost was basically humic + fluvic acid, and the tea, well the tea would be a bacterial "chelation" agent - that's why i asked, very interesting about the boost (refined molasses.... so brown sugar??) 👌
@CRiSPrGrow, negative... boost is a fully refined byproduct of sugar cane, like molasses but even further refined. So it’s essentially a sugar or carb in nutrients case.
The tea is a microbial brew, made; using earthworm shit, packaged bacteria, and plain water bubbled for 24hrs. I used boost as a carb to feed the microbial life in the tea. The tea is beneficial for various reasons. You would see the greatest results in soil as the breakdown of nutrients to feed to the roots is done by the organisms in the soil. After a while the colony dies for not being replaced or helped multiply. This is why molasses is an age old trick as really your just feeding the soil so it can continue to synergies with the plant. I’ve sort of made my mind up on going back to soil for the next grow.👍🏼
@No_Clout, also 2ml/l is giving me very slightly burnt tips on 2 plants so that’s obv more than enough up to week 4.. you know me i like to be as light as possible and as cheap as possible but trying to get best results. One day soon I will have it just right where it costs f all and gives A* results hopefully this time round✌️🏻
Damn that root rot! Have you used any mycorrhizal products or microbes? That's supposed to make happy roots...supposedly... my podcast i like kept bringing up silica products too for overall health and strength at battling various things, potassium silicate most specifically.
@Experimentgreen,
Hey green sorry late reply took a break.
Yes I have green used micorrhiza products and bennies. Problem was there was not enough aeration. These products did fix the problem after a big flush. The smell coming from the flushed water was rancid seriously made me vomit. I made the mistake by not adding any perlite after reading something regarding the Autopot watering system I used. I haven’t given up on coco just yet as I believe it’s perfect for growing big plants in small pots. It does however IMO require some attention like watering multiple times daily for best results. I found the plant I had watered twice daily did better than any on the system.
This time round Im back to my organic roots lol
very nice harvests in the end, i'd also love to know anything about the #1 and the #5 ;-) rumor has #5 called purple punch... nothing on #1, maybe dos-si-dos?
@PharmaZ, pick up some Hydroguard if you can, it's a root inoculant that does wonders for preventing root rot. 2ml/gal is standard dose. been using it since i started growing. I believe @Hawkbo swears by it too.
@CRiSPrGrow, Hey bulbi, it does work saved my grow tbh.
Very cheap
Best oprion
MycorrMAXhydro
75g will last you over 1 year and costs around €15 I guess.
> Add 0.5g to 2.5L pure water > bubble for 6hr with airstone > add 10ml molasses > bubble 6hrs > add 10ml molasses > bubble for 12hrs > finished brew.
Add 250ml to 5L water (rest goes in the fridge) will keep for 10 days.
@PharmaZ, yo what's your recipe for that innoculent ? very interesting making that home made especially if it works right? i've been looking into the fertiliser companies, their margins are impressive, makes you wonder if you can do it at home ! are you doing some root pruning, air pruning as well or no?
@@Fingers, trust me I know this, can’t get it here :(
It’s been discontinued, was called aquashield before.
I’ve been making my own innoculent. But unfortunately have problems using autopot system. My own fault... PH caused it. Back to soil for me bro✌️🏻
