Here we go again! I'm starting another small outdoor grow that will sit on the window sill once my current plant is done in a few weeks.
This round, I'm growing Bubba Cheese Auto from Humboldt Seed Organization. This is the fourth try with this cultivar as the first three attempts failed (twice by a friend and once by myself). Fourth time a charm?
Bubba Cheese Auto
Genotype: 95% Indica / 5% Sativa
Genetics: Bubba Kush x UK Cheese x Ruderalis
Life cycle: 60-65 days
Outdoor yield: 35-60 g/plant
Outdoor height: 0.75-1 m
THC: 13-17%
CBD: 0.1%
I started like I always do by soaking the seed overnight in a kelp/mycorrhiza solution and then rolling the seed in more kelp/myco powder before planting in a Root Riot plug.
I'm keeping this grow 100% no-tech, so instead of using my regular heating mat, I simply placed the plug in a plastic mug and put it between my computer and monitor since that is the warmest location in my house. 48 hours later, we had germination. Success!
I transplanted the plug into a small one-liter pot, added some lava rocks as mulch, and placed her outside. She will stay in this pot until my other plant is done in a couple of weeks. Then I'll transplant her into a small sub-irrigated planter.
@kohlrabi, Thank you. My main concern is how much it'll smell, as Cheese cultivars are supposed to be stinky. I'm sure the neighbors will approve... lol
