It is the first time that I grow Green Gelato and of course I am very curious about the result. A few more weeks to satisfy my curiosity.
The three plants that I have are all very small. They are very slow growers, with very short internodes. Perhaps they come out best if you let them grow like a Christmas tree style, without topping them up or wanting to scrub. That way you have to put a lot of small plants, close to each other, to get a nice canopy.
I have my plants topped and have four beautiful colas per plant. Plant n ° 3 is the smallest but has beautiful dark green-purple leaves.
The plants do not show any nutritional deficiency, but they have been in the same soil for several weeks. So I started to feed them with a fourth dose of Alga Bloom, half a dose of Green Sensation and half a dose of Sugar Royal.
Green Gelato n°1 : 65 cm
Green Gelato n°2 : 53 cm
Green Gelato n°3 : 46 cm
@CRiSPrGrow, I got that Vertafort from RQS. First I hesitated to use it because, unlike liquid food, you can not intervene so quickly. But plants look really heatlhy and well feed. No liquid food, and nog nutrients shortage. In week 5 you can see how much I used of t.
Nice dude. I have some problems with my gren gelato. Is she a heavy drinker? She's the only one not looking great right now. Curled up leaves and weak plant. It will probably thrive soon but it isn't feeling great right now.
@MrsPots, At the end she was a heavy drinker in comparison with the other strains. But she was the only strain that remainded so green until the end. I liked the smell when the plants were alive, after drying I no longer recognize that nice smell. A good yielder. Hopefully it works well with yours !
