Week 12 from seed begins and all seems well. SD pistils are ~80-90% orange, leaves are fading, trichomes are cloudy with some clear, no changes in height, flowers are dense, and I think I am getting smells of pine and ?. She pushed out what maybe her final gasp of pistils. She looks amazing!
BD is massive, her pistils are starting to turn ~40%, leaves starting to fade, trichomes are cloudy with clear, flowers are becoming more dense, and smell pine with hints of citrus. Day 6 FinalPart. BD seems to be in no hurry to finish and I wonder how long I can run FinalPart. My feedchart from TA shows 10-14 days, FinalPart user guide reads up to 10-13 days in coco, and can be adjusted to plant. Should be fine just running FinalPart until she finishes.
Plan for the week
1. Daily monitoring of SD trichomes
2. Every other day check of BD trichomes
3. SD harvest time? End of week?
4. Flush/clean - FlashClean x2days, then H2O to maintain run-off EC @ less than 200 x 48hrs -then harvest
2-11-2024 Day 78. PH 6.07/6.09, EC 1230/1240, 2/1.5L with good run-off. SD has slowed down to ~1.5L each fertigation, BD can likely be decreased. Removed a few fan leaves. FinalPart Day 7/6.
3-11-2024 Day 79. PH 6.08/6.0, EC 1190/1230, 2/1.5L with good run-off. Removed a few leaves. FinalPart Day 8/7.
4-11-2024 Day 80. PH 6.08/6.08 , EC 1200/1250, 2/1.5L with good run-off. FinalPart 9/8. Trichome photos are from multiple flower sites, normally about 1 in 10-15 photos are usable.
5-11-2025 Day 81. PH 6.09/6.01 , EC 1250/1180 , 1.75/1.75L 1.75/1.5L with good run-off. More trichome pictures for today from multiple flower sites (SD 3&4 photo is from smaller lower flowers). Removed a few leaves. BD's fade becoming more pronounced and pistils ~40-50% have turned orange, trichomes more cloudy and some clear. Both continue to push out new pistils, SD much less. FinalPart days 10/9.
6-11-2024 Day 82. PH 5.99/6.03, EC 1170/1200, 2/1.5L with good run-off. SD there appears to be a few amber in pics #2 & 3 today, getting close. BD is cloudy with clear, and more of her leaves are fading. FinalPart days 11/10.
7-11-2024 Day 83. PH 6.0/5.95 , EC 1150/1130 , 2/1.5L with good run-off. SD is pushing out another round of new pistils, ~90% of her pistils have turned, her colors are amazing, flowers are dense and I sense smells of pine; she should be close. FinalPart days 12/11.
8-11-2024 Day 84. PH 6.03/ , EC 1200/ , 2/1.5L with good run-off. FinalPart days 13/12. Trichome pictures this am from lower flower sites on SD have mostly cloudy, and a few amber and clear.
PM camera microscope on second level canopy flowers had scattered amber in most every picture on SD. A little amber is fine for SD, this is probably about right.
Week 12 ends and finds both plants fading nicely with no issues noted. SD to be harvested early next week post flush. BD continues to bulk up so has 1-2 weeks remaining? She will let me know. Likely end of week 14 to flush. Removed a few leaves from each every other day.

I have used both the tri-part and dual part coco now on two grows; The 3 vs 2 bottles does simplify the process and I am likely to purchase the dual part coco again when these bottles run out. With my water and autos I run ~40% strength nutrients at ~1200 EC using the dual part coco.
I had also considered the Canna line as they are also a two bottle setup and there are some examples of sucessful plants with Canna.
Been following along with your Purple Punch as it is on the list to grow in the near future...

Once most trichomes becomes cloudy, it won't be long before the amber starts to appear, and then flushing, so if you think you're a week /week and a half before that stage, start with final part;)
(Usually terra recommend 10 days of final part before flushing, but with autos everything is faster, so a good week of final part will do to my opinion)
But MY question is, would you continue using Calmag along with finalpart? Or not..? That I truly don't know😅

I think the Sour Diesel is ~2wks from finishing based on other diaries with coco/ hydro/similar size. I was thinking FinalPart for 12 days and then 2 day FlashClean followed by ~ 2 days of water flush to run-off EC the # escapes me, but based on cocoforcannibas recommendations.
Good question on the CalMag and FinalPart. Both plants have minor rust spots. TA on the Coco formulas suggest no additional CalMag is needed, and I think FinalPart would be the same. My experience is even buffered coco with a specific coco fertilizer formula still needs CalMag added to any water you use to dilute to get your EC. Now with FinalPart you are basically just feeding bloom nutrients. Would not adding CalMag block some other needed micro nutrient during the final 2 weeks of flower? I don't know, but someone on the forum would perhaps. For now since there is already some signs I was planning to add it to the next feritgation with any water used to dilute to EC. I was thinking I could always fade it over the next week or so.
There are a few trichome pictures of SD at end of week 10. Mostly cloudy and some clear. I will grab some more photos with the USB microscope camera tomorrow. It is a challenge to get good photos..
