Have many good impressive/Successful grows under my belt and after my first grow DWC it's been Bottom Fed Coco Hempy Buckets all the way..... until now. This is my first Fabric Grow bag method. Also trying Biobizz for the first time after using mostly Canna A and B before. I usually harvest a about 16 oz dry with 4 plants with this same setup. 4x4 tent 600 -700?watts total QB/Cob lights. Since switching to these lights that I Frankensteined together, from a 600w MH/HPS, this blows away HPS in my opinion overall. Rock hard baseball bat colas.
This Grow: Cinderella99 Fem I got directly from the man (Rick Himself pic included). Let's just say Rick is one of the nicest breeders I have interacted with online period. That's got to be hard these days.
Wheels up and climbing to cruise altitude. Trays with rolling papers out soon. Decided to try Biobizz on this run instead of AN Coco Sensi for various reasons. IVe had my eye on bio for awhile now but didn’t realize till I ordered it that its a one part grow bottles i guess. Grow for veg and bloom for flowering but im seeing some using both around flowering also so i need to work that out. I also went ahead and bought Bottom planter stand. I know the way my girls are sitting precariously on that bucket in never recommended.
It’s been a rough week this early in the game and flopping on what nutrients I’m going to run hearing about biobizz is not reacting well with pH down
Problem is everybody’s telling me to pour my mix in these early girls with a pH at 7.0 because that’s what it is at the end of mixing fish mix up with no ph down. Everybody says absolutely no pH down with organics even though I used too run canna which is organics and used pH down all the time and noone on the net says dont use ph down like they do with biobizz. Who knows maybe that was my problem sometimes but it definitely got me through many grows
Now I’m waiting for some pH down if I’m going to continue us now I’m waiting for some earth juice natual pH down if I’m going to continue using biobizz.
Everything going Great will be topping this week. I am still having a hard time deciding on if I should run Cana A and B or biobizz lineup fish mix. Canna is 2 part A is 4-0-1 and B is 1-4-2. Biobizz Fishmix is 1 part (through veg)) 4-0-3. Found a great website for coco specific growers called Cocoforcannabis. There is a lot of great information there I have passed that website off to some veteran growers that gave me props
Running Tap starting PPM is 130
Soup mix Currently:
Add a bit more of calmag to bring it to 200.
Canna A and B at about 5ml/gal
AN Voodoo Juice
PH natural down earth juice to 6.4 ish
Grower Notes:
“ I like to learn the hard way “
Going from Hempy buckets to fabric grow bags has been awesome and great but changing nutrients and not zeroing in on exactly what a grower wants to use can complicate things. I topped a few days ago and then did some trimming up and was concerned I went to far for their age. I need to brush up on my Grower shoot/node manipulation and knowledge
Good week. Topped and did some LST. I definitely see Rick’s Genetics looking nicely. Much easier then Bottom fed coco Hempys with Hydrton rock and air stones. See some calmag issues on old leaves but always remembering look at the new growth. Changing from hempy to this is cake but when you add learning and deciding a new nutrient line (in mid-grow) plus I always ran RO water only, NOW im also running tap water at 130ppms starting.
Combining all three new Changes at the same time was/is unwise. But i have never lost a main plant yet after 10 runs and 50 plants. I am a patient. I have Ankylosing Spodylitis. Thanks to the guidelines they have cut me off on all oral pain medication. This is the only thing i got left. They (Doctors) are pressing me on that too. They’ll have to pry my pH pen out of my cold dead hands. I will be calling Scotty and the dude soon for a report.
Need to come up with a better feeding system. 4 plants isnt exactly enough for drip irrigation. Water halo/ring sounds interesting but if anyone knows what might fit better let me know. I been using a diy water wand.
Using canna coco a and b at 9ml per gal.
Also trying bigbud coco for the first time. Stopped calmag because bigbud coco supposed to help eliminate it. Had it laying around.
Did a good defo this week and they could look better but not bad. I still have a ways to go considering I flipped on March 12th. Big bud coco is interesting because it’s milky white so there’s no chance of detecting if your mix is bad.
Day 35 on the 12. Started Overdrive and biobizz grow and bloom cause i think i have 10 ish days till i start the flush.
Everything is looking fantastic so far though.
Day 45 on 12 and I’m pretty sure I should start flushing any day. Probably in the next couple days to give me a good week atleast. Trichs look cloudy. Early tasting Pics you see were cut a few days back. Rick said start looking after 50 days.
Been flushing for one week. Not sure how much longer I am I am going to flush but I will post in a week with harvest pics. Kind of odd because I added one soup mix of florakleen and I noticed almost right away some colas were drooping. Luckily I don’t think it’s anything that’s going to matter now they are looking fantastic.
A few days ago I put the girls into 48 hour darkness and then found out my air-conditioner broke down thank God the weather got cool for a few days until it’s fixed. The issue is my temperature being that warm unfortunately for me is normal. I wish I could get it lower because most seem to recommend around 65. My grow situation makes it hard to drop much lower.
Pictures and harvest report will come around jar time. Speaking of which, ball mason jar‘s has new Amber/opeque color glass jars for low light penetration. I bought some 64 Fl. Oz. Bottles.
All in all so far the samples I have tasted from Cinderella have been absolute fire.
Overall it was my best run ever in the yield and flavor department. The most frost and trim I’ve ever had stable grow medium going from Hempy bottom Fed to these fab bags and getting a hold of genetics directly from the brothers Grimm Rick sent me I hit it out of the park (not that I have ever failed) hardly any larf at all. With good lights good nutrients number one is genetics added with third week of flowering defoliation, I had a great run. Ran the numbers and its coming back as dry weight is about 19 oz. for 4 plants. 90% all hard nugs 10% larf.
