Welcome to my Zamnesia Pink Rozay auto diary. Since I am growing thru Valentines day, I decided to do a dreamy theme of love with wine, cheese and love potion.
I will be growing one plant in Happy Frog soil with bliss myco.
I started in these in a cotton pad January 1. Happy New Year 🎉 friends, growers and lovers of green.
Jan 3rd, I moved Pink Rozay (1), Blue Cheese (2) which were the ones with tails out and Runtz and Love Potion ( no tails) all to soil.
I started seeds 1/1/25, just after the new moon on 12/30. Interestingly it was a rare black moon, the second new moon of the month. The 5 days following a new moon are the optimal planting times for above ground crops. I'm trying to follow Farmer’s Almanac on gardening by moon phases. I’ll try to remember to note lunar actions i future comments if they apply.

Week 3 1/19-25
This was a big week for Pink Rozay and Blue Cheese gals. They got topped, pinned and defoliated on 1/20 with pics 1/20 21, 23 and 25. They handled the topping very well and bounced back with vigor. After topping, I dabbed the wound with manuka honey. When I topped Rozay, she was 3 inches tall, I cut off 1 inch and during recovery she grew 1inch. She is now 4”.

Week 5 2/2-2-8
Pink Rozay is in flower and are stretching like crazy. At the beginning of the week, she was 5 inches tall, Wed 9 and today 2/7 she is 14 inches tall. Almost tripled in height.
I’ve moved the pins out to the edge of the pot. For future training, I must add some wires through the pot holes to keep the branches lower as the outer rim is taller than the center.
I reduced nutrients in the feed solution since Pink Rozay and Runtz are showing some purples/blues in the leaves. I added Green Sensation this week then read the instructions said add in 4th week flower. Pink Rozay is supposed to be an 11 week flower from seed to harvest. If I wait till the 4th week, it will only be used for 2 maybe 3 weeks. Would that benefit the plant? So I think I will add some each time but a 25% strength. Calls for 4ml/g I will use 1ml. They are autos and I should be lowering the nutes anyway. Pinned more branches and defoliatied. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line.
2/5 4 gal prep, each nutrient added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and Dill in the back. Fed 2 ltr each

Week 6 2/9-15
Pink Rozay Auto in flower. On Thursday, 2/13 I did a major defoliation on Pink Rozay. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have since heard that, 10 they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2 there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. She is still stretching and now 18 inches. This should have been an indication Not to defoliate severely.

I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. The controller is set to flower now.
2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back.

Week 7 flower week 3
Pink Rozay is in full bloom, the buds are puffing out with many white pistols. Trichomes are just starting to form. Still see some blues/ purples in the leaves. Maybe it’s genetics. Took pictures and moved the girls around in the tent.
I also moved the carrots to the other tent with the veggie seedlings because Love Potion is getting so big, The carrots have lots of foliage but I don't feel shoulders. I expect I'll be putting these outside once spring gets here. I'll see how long it takes to harvest. It may not be worth the time for food production.

Since I have overfed my gals, this week I am trying to remove excess fertilizer from the Planting medium by giving ph 6.5 water only.

Week 9 Flower 5
After flushing excess nutrients out of the soil and plant, Pink Rozay is still a darker shade of green. She is filling out but trichomes are still immature on the buds. When I trimmed her (see pics) the leaves and some fan stems were covered in trichomes. My fingers glistened and the scissors had heads stuck on them. This was her first defoliation, if I had known she would be this sticky, I would have defoliated sooner and wore gloves. Structurally she is short and stout with many small leaves throughout. This was a long process trimming her. It is not my favorite gardening task. Her limbs are strong enough to hold her buds so far.
She and Love Potion are maturing slower than the rest. Each plant gets 2 liters every 2 days. I am resuming a half dose fertilizer schedule because of the over feeding issues before. She still needs several more weeks before I’ll start flushing. This week the gals were fed on March 2, 4, & 6. Pic were take on the 4th and 8th.

She is very sticky as I found out in last week’s defoliation. Structurally she is short and stout with many small leaves throughout. The buds have lots of leaves in their formation and will a pain in the ass to trim. I will add that with all her sticky sugar leaves, there will be a lot for trim. Maybe even freeze for bubble hash. Her limbs are strong enough to hold her buds. She and Love Potion are maturing slower than the rest. Each plant gets 2 liters every 2 days. I resumed a half dose fertilizer schedule because of the over feeding issues before. Hopefully the ½ dosage will be enough for full bud development. She still needs several more weeks before I’ll start flushing.

Week 11 Flower 7
After flushing excess nutrients out of the soil and plant, Pink Rozay is still a darker shade of green , like Blue Cheese 2 planted in soil. She is filling out but trichomes are mixed clear and milky but very few amber on the buds. Structurally she is short and stout with many small leaves throughout. Her leaves are starting to show pretty ping edges on many of her leaves. The buds have lots of leaves in their formation and will a pain in the ass to trim. I will add that with all her sticky sugar leaves, there will be a lot for trim. Maybe even freeze for bubble hash. Her limbs are strong enough to hold her buds. She is getting very frosty and sticky and has a faint gas and flower smell.
She has increased consumption to 2 liters daily. She has been positioned in the middle of the tent and I don’t know it is cross ventilation from the fans or if she is really drinking, I resumed a half dose fertilizer schedule because of the over feeding issues before. Hopefully the ½ dosage will be enough for full bud development. She still needs a few more weeks before I’ll start flushing.

Week 12 Flower 8
Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week.

Smoke report
Pink Rozay Automatic grew in my AC Infinity 4x4 with 4 other plants. Pink Rozay was a carefree easy to grow plant and demonstrated strong resistance to mold, bud rot and pests. Zamnesia indicated 11 weeks from seed to harvest and I harvested at 82 days from popping out of the soil.
Plant structure – Pink Rozay Automatic remained under 2 feet tall. This would make her very good for small closet grows. Defoliation was as expected -time consuming since there were many leaves packed tight in the bud. Her buds were mostly 3 inches long and about an inch wide. A few buds were a bit bigger.
Taste and smell- because of the mix of strains growing in the tent at the time, fragrance was not discernable. When I moved her to the garage, I could detect creamy and fruity.
I’m sampling the test bud after two weeks drying, and the first vape is malty with only a hit of fruit. So now after a week of curing in the jar, the smell is sweet and fruity. The taste of vaping is a sweet floral berry.
Nice and smooth, I like it and recommend for everybody to grow and smoke. She is a keeper for me.
Due to the mix of strains, the initial fragrance was indistinct. After moving her to the garage, I noticed creamy and fruity scents. Upon sampling after two weeks of drying, the first vape tasted malty with a hint of fruit. After a week of curing in the jar, the smell turned sweet and fruity. The vaping taste is sweet floral berry, smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend growing and smoking this strain; Pink Rozay is definitely a keeper for me.
Effect- Pink Rozay Automatic is uplifting releasing mental tension and relaxing in my body. The high hits after a few tokes the mental ease followed soon thereafter. For a few hours I felt relaxed and happy and uplifted. It will be good for anytime in social situations. It has a moderate THC value of 16-23% so it is not overbearing for the novice smoker and enough for the experienced smoker for that carefree feeling.
Pink Rozay Automatic grew without difficulty or issues. Produced a nice outcome. Wet weight 235g and dry bud of 63g. I had 8g of trim which would have been great for edibles. However, my hubby had a bag of frozen chopped kale from our garden last year and I put the trim in there. At some point, we will have infused soup for dinner. Harvest was about 10 grams larger than Zamnesia’s expected yield per plant. I’m very happy with this grow and strain.

I swear the leaves you showed closer up look just like ones I’ve had that I thought were burnt from over feeding, but later figured out was actually potassium deficiency. Could be totally off, but wanted to throw it out there.
