So 3 plants are growing normal no issues the 4th’s Cotyledons did not push the seed husk off so I gave it a little help it’s about a week behind. Day 13 secondary branches starting to form on 3 out 4 plants very tight internode spacing partially due to lamp distance, first time with this variety not expecting a tall plant from what I have read about dark 😈

First real feeding on day 16 devils 1-3 are chugging along #4 is still in the game but at least a week behind still. Will add photos throughout the week, hopefully nutes kick in and we see some excellent veg growth. With just a day starting to see the side branching form the stems are definitely stout. Day 21 I’ll start lst and see if I can’t encourage the secondary branches a bit. After experiencing the plant literally pull the tie out of the soil, unsure if I’ll tie to the side of the pot or let the beasty stems be and run. Undeicided at this time. Day 19 3/26/2019 starting to show flowers

Hi, as you said, shes got a short life circle, i wont slow her down by topping her, you can get really nice Flowers by using LST.. look at Quexos or Wheedtobeus420 they grow her in masterly perfection. Ive grown her too, and it wa a nice challenge, i used LST too....growdiaries.com/diaries/22953-friend-of-the-devil

So had to adjust the weeks in the diary but here we are day 21 week 3 and they are starting to show preflowers and I’m greeted with a faint sweet smell every time I open the tent. Grew about 3” average week over week internode distance is compact, this variety stalk is tremendous in power tried twice to start lst and both times the plant managed to straighten it self upright within hours. After some debate I’ve decided that I’ll let her be an see what happens. The stretch has started almost 3” of growth in last 3 days Water with recharge and elementXX gonna wait till day 25 to hopefully see their effect on the plants So that recharge is amazing 2” of growth in less than 48hrs made me have to adjust the light height. So from day 21 till day 25 just over 4” of height gained. Next feeding I’ll start to introduce bloom and molasses. Morning of day 27 introducing TNB Naturals and turning on the second 600w LED, plants have seen explosive growth this week, tied some of the secondary branches down to allow better light penetration. I’m excited to see what the CO2 will encourage.

So I’m wondering if anyone has used the TNB naturals CO2 and is it too early or late to start using it my tent is 3’x3’x7’ ? Wondering if there is a significant gain for the introduction of all that extra co2?

It's never too late as it will boost your vegetative grow and once in flowering it will also boost your plant and increase the bud production, however you need to be careful about the interaction/extraction to not blow away your co2 ( no leaks ) , you also need to know that Co2 is working better on a higher temperature range than usual , I've seen people growing at 34°C without any issue. According to the size of your box I imagine that you'll need fo refile your bottle before the harvest

Day 27 (Night for plants) Bumped the light schedule up to 19/5hrs Turned on second 600w with a bit more of the red spectrum. Added the TNB enhancer. DD# 1 @14” DD#2 @ 13” DD#3 @ 12” DD#4 @ 5” still the runt but not counting it out Feeding 1l (32oz) every 3 days or so except #4 Still doing feed, water, recharge So week 4 is coming to an end there’s been tremendous growth and it’s slowly coming to and end. The sweet smell that’s coming from the tent now is quite indescribable. The devils are truly a fun and very stout little plant.

Think they’ve finished stretching all but #4 are 21” Switching to bloom nutes and continuing my feed routine. The growth was amazing last week not sure how much of a increase the TNB affected the plants did notice a huge spike in RH% and Temps but the plants loved it no nute or heat burn what so ever. I’ll continue to update every 2 days or so. Day 35 starting to see some purple calyx’s form getting exciting.

Way to start the week more photos to come. Flushed using sledge hammer this week stretch has come to a complete stop and budding is in full force. The smell oh how can I describe but a sweet berry funk. They have taken very well to the fox farm nutes that I’ve been giving. Definitely some differences in 2 of four, DD1 and DD2 much more weight and little to no purple except for main stem and veins on existing leaves compared to DD3 and the runt DD4 buds are not as dense but man are they flying this deep lavender and purple. The smell from this girls is so sweet . Bud structure is different on the DD I’m guessing the sativa vs indica genetics are showing which are dominating the plants either way there is a wonderfully sweet aroma from all the plants. 4/19 I feed them more nutrients in a small attempt to see if I can push the nutes slightly past recommended levels, to date no signs of burn or build up ever so slight clawing of the fans but nothing I’m concerned about plants looking good.

The girls are coming along really nice hit them with a heavy feeding on day 47. Start of week 7 bud development is showing no signs of slowing. 2 of 4 are showing the deep purple. I’ll continue to post new photos every 2 days So today 4/25 was the last heavy feeding for 3 of the girls after this I will feed one more time at 30-50% nute strength and by the end of week 8, I will begin flushing. After that only using PH’d water and and blackstrap.

So.. the flush begins for DD#1 and #2 checking trich’s and these to ladies are showing about 70% clear to 30% cloudy may finish in week nine. DD#3 still in bloom throwing tons of white hairs and purple flowers 100% clear trichs so she’s gonna get another feeding. DD# 4 is the showcase cause not only did she start out slow but she’s the only 1 of the 4 that’s started purple flowers and and is also purple leafed. I’ll continue to post some picture tonight wanted to get this up as I am flushing and pulling them out of the tent to do so. Also continue to add photo every 2 days. Updated 4/30 day 58 posted video and some new photos Day 60 really started to look at trich’s since plants are definitely getting close. DD#1 looks to be my heaviest producer trich’s are 60/40 no amber yet DD#2 80/20 no amber DD#3 90/10 no amber but it must be a mutation or something in the genetics cause it’s no longer thickening up its foxtailing all over so she still got time and we’ll see DD#4 is looking good and has a few weeks before I’ll start checking trich’s on her, pistols popping white all over the place.

So week 9, devils #1 and #2 are scheduled to be harvested on Wednesday 5/9, last flush was 5/4/2019. The purple fade is quite a spectacle, Devil #2 is definitely a green pheno and absolutely refuses to turn purple but smells and looks fantastic. I’m hoping to beat the 44g per average at 400g/m2. Devil #1 looks to be heaviest of all the girls hoping to break 2oz with that one. Still paying close attention to #3 her foxtailing is kinda of a bummer but looking at other diaries it looks to be a trait found in some devils. Devil # 4 is still chugging along throwing tons of new pistils and still a couple of weeks away. She just got her 2nd to last feed (75% nutes) most likely but time will tell. For my trim mostly thinking I’ll do a dry trim to try an protect the buds as much as possible 5-10 days hang dry and into the mason jars for a long slow cure hopefully. I still update with devil #3 and #4 until they get the chop. Photos updated every 2 days or so most likely a video of the girls coming down on 3/9-3/10, stay tuned! Devils #1 and 2 had all their fan leaves removed today may wait a few days to give the lowers time to fatten but both will be harvested by Friday.

This is going to be a staple in my garden and to see almost every pheno on my first grow both challenging and rewarding! I enjoyed the sweet smell daily from around week 5. I do need to upgrade my lighting and this plant definitely showed me that. I will be purchasing these seed again and love to see some more Devil crosses. Plant has been drying since Wednesday I will be updating numbers one dry and trimmed up!0
