@Th3L0rAx, Hi buddy! :) In the stage of flowering, it can be appreciated better, week to week, the dominate traits for indica or sativa genes. When the buds begin to form, it is when you can appreciate it the most. 😋 Sweet smokes! -Apolo

@Th3L0rAx, I'm confused. Your journal says Big Devil. From what I just read, that might be the Northern Lights pheno being more dominate. BTW ClubRiot has a Big Devil grow going that looks pretty nice.

@Quexos, All 4 of the seeds I popped said dark devil, but in researching I saw that there’s a small chance of green pheno that grows a bit taller and is bit stronger thc% it’s still early I just guess I didn’t expect quite as big of a stretch that’s going on in my tent currently

@Quexos, it may just be a waiting game the devils although sprouted at the same time are definitely going be harvested at different times they are all at different stages.

@Th3L0rAx, I don't think that will make any difference. That purple takes a long time to develop. You just ended up with a different pheno. I looked up the parents of our DD. She has a Big Devil and XL component that has no green. There is also some Jack Herer in there. The purple must be some stable/robust genetics to be coming through at all.

@Quexos, still have one devil that shows 0 purple except for the stem and undersides of the leaf.... hmm wonder if a bit of ice on root ball may shock it

@Th3L0rAx, I fed them full strength. I didn't really try to push it. I read that AN works best at full strength. I guess that means you could overload, but I was already seeing burnt tips and darker leafy matter. I'm not sure that answers your question though.

@Quexos, hey I was re reading your dark devil diary how far did you push the envelope with your bloom feeding recommended vs actual?

@Th3L0rAx, I'm in New Mexico. It would be better for me to start early now that I think about it. We have a tendency to get early freezes due to our high elevation. I might have to wait. We have to move our daughter to Oregon this summer. I have no idea how long that will take. Being gone that long would be a death sentence for the plants.

@Quexos, Cali water is hard unless you’ve got a well, I looked into a RO system for the home but $$$

@Th3L0rAx, I'm glad you said that. I checked my pH numerous times! I re-calibrated my pH meter, I tested distilled water, etc.. I couldn't believe Cal-Mag would have such a drastic affect on my pH. Our tap water is really good here. The biggest problem is carbonate hardness. We have a 2-stage filter on our tap, so I don't worry about my starting water.

@Quexos, yeah I agree it does so I baseline the water 6-6.5 first then check it again after I add the nutes. My tap water sucks and tests almost 9.5 with an EC of 3.7 so I just buy a couple of gals of purified water and make sure that I’m in the right PH range.

@Quexos, just amazon primed it (Recharge) never used it so I’m hoping for some excellent results!

@Th3L0rAx, I chose Recharge over Mykos. I was using EZ Tea before. Recharge had the food for the microbes built into the product.

@Quexos, using mykos and azos already? I know your using the recharge, I kinda want to push the feeding hard to see what the genetics will allow.

@Th3L0rAx, I'm growing GrapeHead by PPP Cultivators. He has another auto strain literally called Fruity Pebbles. I might already have a few of that strain in with the freebies I got from my last order. I found Kre8genetics. They sell their seeds at Oregon Elite Seed Bank. I'll check out their strains.

@Quexos, if you like the fruity pebbles you need to take a look at Kre8gentics my friend they have a strain right up your alley “pebbles punch” take a look at that beautiful plant!

@Th3L0rAx, So far I found a fragrance that I liked. It was Bubba's Gift from Humboldt Seeds. I swear I had a bowl of Fruity Pebbles in the jar instead of herb. Otherwise, I'm still lookin'. The high from my Amnesia Haze Auto from Seedsman is pretty good. Maybe something with Haze in it would work. I keep finding hybrids that I like though. For example, I love AK47. Fast buds paired that with a lemon strain! I love that idea! Its hard to create your own strain when someone has something you really like that's similar. Its kinda like letting them do all the work for you. I'm retired. Let someone work for me!😎

@Th3L0rAx, the Mephisto site being down has been a big bummer. Planning a big order whenever there back up. I recently came across the black Lemon and have loved everything I've seen. Not sure if will be this time, but definetly on my list of strains to get.

@Denzul, I was looking at the black lemon auto at exotic seeds and a strawberry nuggets or deez nugz at memphisto as well but some sites are still down

@CraigGrowsOK, hi hint of gas it’s just a very sweet smell it great I can’t wait to cure it up I may have someone make some rosin out of it just to really get the terp profile

@CraigGrowsOK, I was talking with @Quexos I I think both of you are right the 5gal is the right size for this plant the main stalk is super dense and thick I think when my next set of beans come in I’m gonna top 1 or 2 just to see how the plant changes first hand I would love to do a SOG with these plants I really can’t get over the sweetness of the smell

@Th3L0rAx, You should get purple by the time you are done. Sweet Seeds says the % of purple pheno is really high. Either way your girls are looking killer!

@Quexos, I’m also wondering if in fact they are the green pheno’s but according to a lot of the other forums the color changes pretty rapid during the last 2 weeks of flowering.

@Quexos, I was thinking the same thing, I’m still waiting for purple on 2 of 4 but they keep pushing green leaves I’ll pull them out in the natural light just so you can see em and snap a few shots after work today, but your right not much purple at all.

@Mrs_Larimar, the stems and buds are definitely shifting on one of the plants it’s turning a deep royal purple its quite beautiful.

@Th3L0rAx,i had 4 Seeds of her, and all Girls were different colour, from light pink to dark violet... very nice, and the taste was alittle diferent too. But all were absolotely stunning

@Mrs_Larimar, got to love when they start the switch, still have to wait a bit before the color change. Apparently I didn’t have wait too long color is starting to come in!

@Th3L0rAx, It's been fun. I've learned a lot more about this strain than I ever thought I would! Of course I forget most of it after I smoke! I'm still thinking about ordering those QB lights from Ali Baba. I don't have to make a decision for awhile, but from everything I've seen its a good deal. I just wish I could find people who bought lights from that company.

@Th3L0rAx, I agree to you, they look nice and healthy. Iam using pipecleaners to tie them....works wonderful. its very soft to them and very strong
