Kenn0rphan The seedlings were watered each day with a syringe of light nutrient water (basically just enough base nutes to correct ph). Week 1 day 2 was first day of full watering.

Kenn0rphan 1 cherry popper is lagging a bit behind the others, but so far progress looks good. Week 2 Day 1 photos are 15 days after seed placed in soil. Transplant likely at end of this week

Kenn0rphan Unfortunately, transplantation didn’t go so smoothly last week. Ran out of soil before finished. So now they’re showing a bit of inconsistency in growth. Oh well.

Kenn0rphan Cherry poppers are proving to be a bit interesting, at least to me. Super thick main stalk with minimal branching development seems to indicate a potentially very tall plant. I topped the two in the front middle of last week as their vertical growth was far exceeding the others. But topping them slowed their growth significantly. I plan to top the three remaining in the back of the tent as their growth has now caught up. Hopefully the recovery time is short.

Kenn0rphan The two phenos near the front of the tent are growing faster than the three in the back. I am trying to implement additional training to slow them down while the three in the back catch up. But otherwise…happy with progress.

Kenn0rphan Flipped to flower on 6/11. Approximately 1inch of stretch per day since. Just watching and occasionally watering for now. This strain already seems to prefer minimal water. 1 liter given every 4 days.

Kenn0rphan CP#1 turned into a full out hermie. This kinda makes sense from the height dominance of this pheno. I’m moving forward assuming that this hermie was just genetic.

Kenn0rphan A little bit of potential lockout showing on pheno #1 and #3. As a result, I chose to double my watering amount. This could also be a result of the under canopy light. Still just experimenting with it…

@Kenn0rphan, they are developing wonderfully, I'm sure the terps will also be mouthwatering. Even now they look soo good that I wish I could smell them through the screen, lol😂😂😍3 - 4 more weeks? or?😋
Kenn0rphan
Kenn0rphancommented2d ago
@BrediniGreeny, I’m not sure yet. I’d say based on development so far they’d be done in 3 weeks. But Barney’s says 60-65 days. So will just have to see.

@Kenn0rphan, sure can't wait to see their autumn attire, their colorful dresses 😍😍they are for sure starting a little😍

Try to bend the tall ones further down, if you have some insulated wire, that's perfect for lst..but be careful because those branches are already strong and could easily break, so be careful, slowly, little by little each tightening. Also, try to put the tall ones a little to the side, and put the lower ones under direct light so that they get the most light, in the middle somehow, but it's best to do the way you think it should be, just do a little research on the forums and here with other growers who had a similar situation, it will surely help you and believe me everything will be great. Your ladies are beautiful bro, happy growing!!!
Kenn0rphan
Kenn0rphancommented1mo ago
@Radagast_, yup. I’ve been working at bending and actually even cropping one of them. It’s not working too bad. The hollow stems have worked well for cropping actually. Breaking the inside of the stem but not damaging the exterior that is.
Radagast_
Radagast_commented1mo ago
@Kenn0rphan, don't let them break in any way, just bend them slightly
Kenn0rphan
Kenn0rphancommented1mo ago
@Radagast_, it’s okay to break them. The key is to not damage the exterior ‘skin’ so much.
Radagast_
Radagast_commentedweek 1022d ago
Is that the plant you were breaking because of the height? It wouldn't be strange at all because you were doing two types of training at the same time, I wouldn't say it's genetic, the plant has to become a hemaphrodite for some reason, and that can't happen because of genetics. The first option is too much stress, and the second option is that the plant simply thought it would not be pollinated and therefore created banana plants to pollinate itself to extend the vine. In any case, the production of buds is a secondary role for plants, the most important thing is to pollinate and leave seeds, that is its main and primary role... that is why we strive for better conditions, better conditions, better buds, everything is up to us to provide it, it only cares about seeds, it does not care about buds.Happy Flowering Bud!!!
Kenn0rphan
Kenn0rphancommented21d ago
@Radagast_, it is certainly possible training stress triggered the hermie. But in this case I don’t think so because I super-cropped the plant a while ago. And the plant was absolutely ridden with male flowers so early in flower. I have a clone of this seed so I can try flowering it again to find out.

You have an 11 L pot, you can comfortably water with 2.5 L and even a little stronger and you are calm for a week, better for you and for them. The plants are beautiful, happy flowering!!!
Kenn0rphan
Kenn0rphancommented1mo ago
@Radagast_, I definitely could. But the soil is soaked pretty thoroughly (I use a mister) and I’m getting run off. Any more run off and I just see it as wasted water and nutes. If I see signs of lockout then I’ll up the water and reduce frequency.
