BelSun_420 So, let's start another journey! This time, I was one of the lucky ones selected to participate in the Super Sativa Seed Club and Dutch Passion contest. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a huge fan of Dutch Passion seeds, so I couldn't be more excited... or could I? Well, maybe I could. I'm not going to lie—I think the contest timeframe is really short. By the time I received the seeds, there were only about 3 months left until the contest ends. So I'm really hoping they'll extend the deadline. I bet most of the other contestants feel the same way, since not everyone has an empty tent ready to plant the seeds as soon as they arrive. In my case, I'm starting now even though I still have plants occupying my tent in their final weeks of flowering. I simply have no other choice but to juggle the last few weeks of one grow while kicking off the next. But hey, it is what it is – and even if the contest ends before my girls are finished, I'll be more than happy to try out these new strains. I'm especially excited because this will be my first time growing these fast-flowering versions! 💚

BelSun_420 This week, I started today, the 12th, by making a small adjustment to the LST. Later in the week, I'll do a more complete LST and give them a good watering with Backtomatic from Agrobacterias. Yesterday, I watered from the bottom with 1L each, just plain water. Nothing more to say, she's growing well and showing no signs of deficiency 💚💪🏻

Funny enough, SSC mentioned Version A as the bigger yielder — but if B keeps going like this, I wouldn’t be surprised if she takes the crown! Let’s see what the next weeks bring 😄🌱

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies, Strain B is doing reasonably well, but I have to say—I’m definitely enjoying Strain A a bit more! I’ve been watering with just plain water, around 1.5L per day on average. Had a bit of a scare this weekend—it was one of the hottest days around here, and I was away at a festival (went to see Korn and Slipknot 🖤🤘🏻). My mom closed the tent and things got a bit stuffy in there. When I got back, they looked a bit wilted! I gave them a solid watering, did a light defoliation, and thankfully they perked back up. They’re starting to stretch now with the flowering transition

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies, Strain B is developing nicely! She hasn’t been quite as easy to train as Strain A, but she hasn’t shown any deficiencies either. In terms of size, she’s right up there with Strain A—honestly, she’s becoming a beautiful plant too. My preference just slightly leans toward Strain A, mostly because of little details. This week, I’ll be adding a topdress with Tasty Flowers by Lurpe—one of my favorite products that I simply can’t grow without haha. It always brings great results… and even better smells! 😄💚

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies, Strain B has officially stopped stretching — now all the energy is going straight into bud production! 🧡 It’s been crazy hot around here lately, with temps hitting 34°C on average. Keeping conditions under control hasn’t been easy, but she’s holding up like a champ. I’ve been watering every other day with 2 to 3 liters per plant, and I’ve had to leave the tent open most of the time — only closing the curtain during dark hours to make sure there's enough airflow. Strain A was supposed to be the bigger yielder, and her shape hinted at that early on… but Strain B seems to be catching up fast. Honestly, I’m getting more and more curious to see how much weight these buds will put on in the coming weeks! 💚🧡

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies, Another week, and she just keeps packing on the weight eheheh. Some buds are already heavy enough to bend the branches, which is extra work but always a good sign eheheh. Last week I gave her a watering with Green Sensations from Plagron just to give her a little boost—other than that, it’s been only plain water. I removed the older leaves and lightly adjusted the LST to improve light penetration, but nothing too drastic to avoid stressing her during flowering. That’s it Growmies, not long to go now 💚💚

BelSun_420 Hey Growmies, Another week in, and I tried to adjust the timing so I could wrap things up right at the contest’s end—but this Version B still needs at least two more weeks, maybe a bit less, to really reach her potential. Version A could probably be harvested sooner, but since I still need to dry them, rushing it just for the contest wouldn’t make much sense. What can I say about this Version B? Honestly, she surprised me. She wasn’t expected to be the top yielder, but I think she might have outproduced Version A in the end. Her main cola is simply stunning, thick and tall. Overall bud spacing and development have been great, and she’s handled training and feeding without any issues. Version A does seem to have slightly denser and chunkier buds, but this B makes up for it with sheer size and an impressive central cola. Final numbers will only be clear after drying eheheh. Big thanks to Dutch Passion and Super Sativa Club for giving me the chance to grow and compare these beauties. I’ll post the full review at the end, but so far, I’m more than happy with her 💚💚

Good luck with the contest, mate.💪 I'm in this time as well and I'm also growing Strain B. I'm really excited to see how they turn out. Unfortunately, the timeframe is super short, so the little ones already had to go into flowering to make it work somehow. I would’ve loved to let them veg a bit longer. 😭

@greenthumb42, Good luck with yours too, mate! 💪🏻 Even you, having started earlier, are already noticing how short the contest window really is, with just a bit more time, we could all get the most out of these plants! As for me, since I’m only starting now, I’ll be honest, I won’t try to rush them just to meet the deadline. I’ll aim to get the best out of them, as every run for me barely keeps the jars full until the next one’s ready, and there’s usually that one gap month where I have to rely on other sources! 😅

@MonyetDiablero, Yes, she’s definitely grown, and now that she’s been transplanted, I think she’s about to take another leap! Version A is also developing well, and honestly, I’m enjoying having these two unknown strains side by side and comparing them 🙂 I think this run is going to be a good one — I’ve fine-tuned my best recipe, so I’m feeling confident. One nutrient is missing, but it’ll be just fine without it!🤛🏻💚

Thanks @Anna-J, 🤛🏻💚 Yes, it’s quite similar to Robert Crumb’s style, but in fact I based it on the images and logo of Super Sativa Club and tried to create a mix between the psychedelic vibe and references to my country 🇵🇹. For example, the carriage on this cover is an allusion to the iconic tram 28 that runs through Lisbon.

@yan402, 44 cm from the first node (or at least the lowest one I kept after cleaning her up) the whole branch is probably around 60 cm ,can’t complain haha.💪🏻 What’s going to be tricky is fattening up all those buds with just 180W of light . She definitely deserves a better lighting setup! 😅💡🌱
