End of week 1. going good so far, had a slow start due to soil being to dry. fixed it now and they are loving it. moved the light to 70 cm to make them stretch a bit more
gave an early top, transplanted into their final pot since the roots were starting to go around in the small pot.
And finally trimmed everything but 2 leaves the day after last weeks upload.
day 20: they are fully recovered and gaining growth again :) been training them for 2 days now.
day22: trimmed the 2 shoots. Gave water for the first time, added 2ml/l VJ. Nothing else.
shoots are about 5cm long, going a bit further before I cut of their heads one last time
another week another topping ;) still going strong. this was the last topping I did. This week gonna focus on getting the 2 side branches open to make a nice and even canopy. ✌
Another week another update. last week I gave a final top of the head. making it a final 16 "main" branches. letting them recover for another week or 2 and low stressing into an even canopy. I bought a box to put clones in. So I put 3 biggest (they are pretty short) toppings in there. dipped the ends in sprouting powder and directly into soil. 1 St time trying cloning so my expectations are pretty low. But who knows
this week we did some more defoliation and finally put up a scrog to get more light in there. all going wel. did not break any more twigs, let's keep it that way :)
gonna let them grow a bit more and spread them over the canopy a bit more before we switch to flower.
have a great one! ✌
last week of veg? going to remove some more leaves and lower growth next week. Then make the switch to bloom. the one on the left is a bit smaller. maybe because I broke a twig and a week later I nearly ripped it of again. Never the less it recovered and has a nice nuckle on it now
1st week on 12/12 cycle. gave the last grow nutes so they have enough nutes to stretch out one last time. next feeding will be with bloom nutes. nothing special going on. done no more stress training. just letting them bush up :)
2nd week in bloom is over ;) (when do you count BTW? when you switch or when you see bloom signs?) going strong and stable. amazing how fast the super cropped recovered (right) removed big leaves in the middle of the super cropped plant so the super cropping does not goes to waste cause there are leaves hanging over the lower buds.
I'm giving a mild feed of 1.4 ec and they seem to like it. No pale leaves cause underfed, or overfed. goes greeaaaat!
In week 7 i took 3 clones. i was pretty sure i fucked up since i just put them in soil with a bit of root power and a shitload of water.Later, when i pulled 1 out of the soil ready to trow away. i noticed some roots.
Now i have 2 survivors having a blast in a bigger pot and a lot less water :D Need to keep these outdoors for now cause my tent is on 12/12 schedule.
after last week update I gave a flush, 3 days only water on ph 6.5, Just to make sure the soil is not stacking salts or anything. now I started with nutes on 1.6 EC. did nothing else this week then check on them and stick my finger in the dirt. stable growth and nice bud development.
the outside clones are having a harder time. weather sucks :(
another week in flower is over,
it's been a hot week where I live and could not get the temp lower then 27℃ in the room. thus I gave 1.5l water every day. the lady on the right got supercropped and the difference in thickness of the buds is very noticeable. so far the not suppercropped (left) is looking to give most yield. and will be the easy one to trim. where the right one lower buds are bigger. can't wait to put the end result on the scale to compare
Raised the EC to 1.8 after noticing the lower leaves getting pale. no nute burn on the tips so far. Last week i'm giving BigBud and maybe give a small flush to drain some salt build up.
got a new setup :) a downgrade on the growspace since 4x4ft was a bit much for such a small room. I went with a 2x4ft and made a selfmade fixture for 2 quantum boards witch fit perfect in my space. 🙌
got the drivers out of the growspace so they wont heat up my tent more then needed.
Onward with the grow: Last week i gave a small flush (2 days) to make sure i have no salts build up.
Now i'm feeding them with plagron bloom and zyme on an EC of 1.8. Witch seems more then enough. (hence small tip burn)
Its very hot where i live and the temp reached 34°c in the tent. i hope this wont slow down the progress.
The mohawks are on a different level if you look at the differences between the 2. whats ur toughs?
Have a great one 👋
Aaaaaaand here we are again. another weer another update.
This week we gave AN overdrive (2ml/L water) on top of the usual Zyme and bloom from Plagron. At an EC of 1.8. Girls are drinking a shit load. everyday i can water them 1.5 a 2l water before i get runoff. witch imo is shitload ;)
Temps are back at normal rates. 25-26°C in the tent. and top buds peak at 29°C. dont want to go to hot since were getting close to the end flush. The colder the room the denser the nugs, just like my nugs.
giving 1 more week Overdrive and then go into end flush.
SideQuest! : The clone got topped 3 times now and it thriving outside. hope it wont be angry when i put it under the led's ;) other 2 clones are still alive but gonna focus on 1 and trie to flil my new tent with 1 plant.
Cya next week!
emergency update: We got banana's. fml. Another hermie. i removes all the branches that where affected by babana's
Last week we found banana's. A hermie in my tent. Again... Sigh.
I cut off the branches that had nanners on them. Sucks :'(
I'm starting the flush as i dont want to risk more problems. amber trich's are 10-20%
Cu next week on harvest!
so I wanted to try out hard stressing myself, some advice for myself is,
1 longer time to recover after supercropping. let the lower flowers that are exposed after super cropping come a bit higher. then switch to flower.
2: super cropping vs lolipop, lolipop is just such an ez trimm. super cropping gave denser bottom nugs but where difficult to trimm. and still kinda fluffy.
