I had hoped to present you with a better start, as the documentation of seed 1 was more thorough. Unfortunately seed 1 didn't get further than a nice bright 4cm white tail and mush where cotyledons should have been. I'm including those pictures anyhow but for further reference, the seed that germinated properly, was seed number 2 😃 ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- July 11 She was put in the Sproutly Seed Germinator immediately after realizing what was going on with her sister. She must really want to party because eight hours later her shell had cracked open! Six hours later, and she had a tail worth burying in dirt. It's the same dirt her sister was in. Kept moist by a self improvised germination dome from Tupperware 😆 If the medium is off, we will find out soon enough! ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- July 12 Oh.. my... it looks like we got a diary 😅 She hadn't even been in the dirt for 12 hours and her cotyledons (yes, this seed made cotyledons) broke the surface already 😳😳😳 By now, she is going hard and is ready to party 😎 The first true leaves are in direct light. 45cm distance @ 50% intensity She'll be in the 60x60x120cm until there is room in the 120x60cm. ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- Seeing how she wants to party, it'd probably be wise to just let her do her thing. That means: No testing. No torture. No bending like Beckham. No unnecessary heat stress. No overfeeding. No overwatering. No funny business! Just sit back, watch her, feed her and give her love.
