Still growing.
Haven't got my ties yet, so no LST for now. I don't know for sure if it still matter at this point; stems are rather strong and will be hard to bend.
Anyway, plants looks happy, especially the snow ryder :)
I have a question if someone read this : One of these plants doesn't come from an auto seed; what should I do regarding light schedule ? I was thinking switching to 12-12 in ~2 weeks but I'm afraid it will hurt auto's yield in the long run :/
Thanks for reading; have a good week !
@Buddha2, Thanks !
I just checked your diary; gotta say I'm impressed ! Your plants looked stunning and I found your reviews very informative and useful. :)
Hey, I can't give you advise what room to choose. Haha, perhaps think about if the smell is going to be noticed by people who you don't want them to notice... 😁.
But when I dried my first batch the temp was also quite high. I think about 25-30 degrees. I decided to do a dry trim (not trim the sugar leafs while wet). And leave them on the stem. That way the buds will dry slower which is better for the taste. It worked. 👍
Can't give a solid advice on when to harvest. I harvested my plants when a small part had amber trichomes. But later I heard that there are strains that will almost never get amber (?!). So I don't know. But with my plants it worked. Like the flavor and effect!
Oh, almost forgot. I only harvested the buds that were 'ripe' and left the smaller unripe (popcorn) buds on the plants. I think I harvested the popcorn buds maybe 2 or 3 weeks later.
Good luck on deciding 👍
Unfortunately to get the non autoflower to start flowering you will have to switch to a 12/12 light cycle and to be honest it shouldn't bother the auto's too much !!! Good Luck with the rest of your grow.
Congrats on your harvest! 🎉 I never dried in a box, so I'm very curious how that works out. Is that a hygrometer on top of the boxes?
Good luck and cheers! 👍
@StealthyDutchGuy, : Thanks dude !
It's more of a closet; I'm not too worried about this part :)
> Is that a hygrometer on top of the boxes?
Yup. Reading 54% air humidity and 20°C right now.
Thanks again; I wasn't expecting an outcome that much better from the last time. I still have a lot of progress to do, but I'm getting there :)
@WillyWonka, Hey thanks ! Haha yeah, I've seen a few hairs too with my magnificent glass. I do have cats, two in fact. But only one of them loves to come with me taking care of the plants :)
You can see her on a few pics of this diary.
