hello, im planning on adding liquid silica and nitrozyme to my feed very soon, should i make any adjustments to the solution? is there any other way than silica to make the main stem thicker?

hey ! be carefull with nutrients… Auto seeds have very different needs in veg stage than photos especially from seedlings growth to 2 weeks….so you have to go gently with food...otherwise you could slow down their growth… use mycos fongi/bacterias to this stage is recomended to increase root abilities….and most of all to improve roots abilities to absorb N and phosphorus. 👍

Hi @cannamazing! The good news is that your plants have developed massive root systems and they drink a lot. The bad news is that if you don't have a good runoff once every 2-3 weeks, nutrients may acculumate in your medium and roots will suffer from lack of air, lack of water, lack of space and salts buildup. At this stage it's too late to try a transplantation on autos, the only thing you can do is to increase your amount of water, at least once or twice before late flowering stage. This will allow all the root mass to drink, old [veg] nutrients will be flushed for good. Give them 5~6L, look at the runoff, and see how plants react after a day or two. This is not advised during late flowering, because of the impact on relative humidity and the risk of mold. Also, may I ask where's your coco from? Which brand? Looking at week 1, your coco looks like re-used one, with old roots..? I'm using BioBizz CocoMix and it's really light/airy/thin particles of coco, yours look more compact. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

@cannamazing Hi there not a bad problem to have but yes broken stems can cause problems with diseases etc There are products on the market called plant yo yos which is basically a retractable string with clips on each end One end supports the plant the other clips on the roof bars of the tent thus giving the plant extra support. You could probably replicate the same thing with some good twine or string Hope this helps mate

@Budofpray, i actually had some mycorrizal granules that i forgot to apply when planting, ive used a mortar and pestle to powder 50ml of it into 4litre and just fed them, i hope that works! thanks for the answer!

@cannamazing, your ppm meter might be broken, these aren't really resillient and break all the time, even dipping it too deep in the water will break it. try it with a new one and have a few spare on hand next time 🚀

yes it works my friend !! if i can find a study i remenber wich show impacts with watering i ll give you the link !! but it s better to diseminate before….and let them doing their works.. that being said... for a curing help what you do sounds great !! i going to give a special recipe with the aim of accelerating developping spore as fast as possible… it s called a custom PDA....stay tuned my dear 😉 and let me know your progress 👍👊

@cannamazing, it s not your case in your grow…. but when a grower get lock out nutrient or overfeeding his plant…. M-O beneficials can regulate...and can unlock macro or /and micro nutrients… in that case we use fungi as a bio-controler agent…in order to cure a prob during the time required for…. you have to stop feeding the plant until the problem is settled

@cannamazing, Are you using a syringe? I find it's easier. And I push the syringe plunger slowly so just one drop at a time .... takes ages to get the PH just right.... inexperience.

@Puffer_Bill ive only been filling 1litre bottles at a time so far and the tiniest drop of ph down send me to a ph of 3 :( im filling a 10 litre bucket tonight so i can accurately get the ph down (ive also brought 3ml pipettes) , i think im supposed to have a ph around 5.8-6.5

cannamazing
@GanjaFarmar, i'm going to start flushing one in a few days just in case they are because most growers on that diary think i have hermies so i'm still keeping a close eye on them but from what i've concluded from the links i posted in the other diary (edit: https://www.rollitup.org/t/this-ovule-not-seed-thing-needs-explained-by-an-experienced-grower-please.982676/ http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?/topic/313565-cannabis-ovule-or-baby-seed/&page=2.... ) is that they are ovules. some strains have bigger ones than other and i cannot find/get any information on what one looks like once it has been fertilised! i took a chunk out of a top cola and also some premature buds on the "younger" plants because i was so paranoid and they all had the same appearance, i basically just ripped them up to sample and found them in the mix, i got a cheap x60 jewellers loupe for £3.00 on ebay it's better than nothing 👊

You can find some good defoliation tutorials online if needed and afterwards you may not even need the 1 small humidifier . But adding the other led might not be a bad thing...it seems like more light usually more good than bad
Experimentgreen
Experimentgreen
@cannamazing, I can understand that. I'm still not the most accomplished defoliator(haha if that's a word) and so i end up with a fair bit of popcorn buds as a result. Your plants look extremely healthy and happy regardless and yea id have to agree..my rosin press and other concentrate processes don't discriminate against small buds, or any other.😊
cannamazing
cannamazing
@Experimentgreen, thanks for the info! i'm a bit put off from defoliating due to what iv'e heard about yield decrease? i'm mostly making hash so i'm not bothered by bud consistency, if i can't get humidity under control soon i guess i'll have no choice. i'll be giving a good flush later today, thanks!

What you've done with zymes is the same things that fungis can do naturally with their own enzyms and substances (but they can do better all the time if we know how used it)…. i admit that fungis/bacterias with minerals nutrients is not the best adequation….(organics is really better) but its works in fact to be precise with fungis the more you feed the plant the more you break the symbiotis action between plant and fungis….you have to be balanced that's why a lot of manufacturers concentrate their products spores number...for hydro or soiless….in the goal of increasing their capacity…. récents studies has demonstrated the bio-fertiliser action of fungi/bacteria...and their hability to divide by 2 the needs of fertilisers…. but you have to let them work a bit to be fully effective….if you feed too much your plant they will lose their utilities and their connection with the plant by an uncomplete exchange.. that's why it is really better to add activated bio char (with nutes) and feed the soil before feeding the plant…. but with your nutes Schedule... as a curing action you can also do what i told you with a specific recipe made with potatoes to increase their action as soon as possible…. this watering solution made with a root vegetable (+ molasses or Brown sugar melted) gives to them the best primal elements to quickly develop their bio-regulator skills by fixing in roots faster….it is another philosophy 😄… BTW i give this PDA recipe on my diary….and i will give more tips this Week 👍 namasté🙏

I had similar with kosher kush and worried. Did some research and turned out to be ovules. No seeds found after harvest. So... I'm hoping the same for you. 🍀🙂🤞🏼 I also sent you a message about Dutch Master Reverse and also a product called Optic Foliar Switch. Maybe good for keeping close by.

Seedlings look great. They're off to a good start. You can try using a turkey baster to water your seedlings when their young. Not good to let too strong of a nute solution to get on the leaves when they're young. Good luck with your grow.

Hey !! in my opinion : ur pots are on high end quality fibers… !! this means 2 things : they're too close to each other wich creates dark places...and you dont let the air cycle prunes naturaly your roots...even if with autos it is better to let the soil/pots a bit wet….but a bit only 👌 you may have/try to bring your soil a litle bit drier hope this helps 🙏

Fattening up nicely.....getting them ready for the kill. ✂️ My plants went through severe heat stress too. Over maybe a 2 week period. The Northern Lights autos never made it sadly 😪. I got an aircon and insulated my grow shack. Gave my photoperiod plants time to recover and only this week put into flower. They look a lot happier now. Frozen bottles of water in path of fan blowing softly on plants helps if you have nothing else. ( I used 3l coke bottles. Family sized bottles, bigger the better. ) Also time lights on etc... but I'm sure you know that anyway. ✌️🏼😎
