wolfvb πΏ week 7 Update: Frost & Fire! βοΈπ₯
We are officially moving into the "sweet spot" of the flowering phase! The tent is starting to smell incredible, and the girls are putting in some serious work. If you look closely at those bud sites, the trichome production is kicking into high gear, giving everything that beautiful, frosty shimmer weβve been waiting for.
The Feeding Strategy
This week, Iβm leaning heavily into the bloom boosters to ensure these colas have everything they need to swell up. Here is the current cocktail:
Bio-Bloom (BioBizz): 2 ml/L β Keeping those base flowering nutrients steady.
Top-Max (BioBizz): 1 ml/L β Stimulating cell division and increasing sugar production.
PK 13-14 (Plagron): 2 ml/L β The "heavy hitter" for this stage to add some serious density.
π Progress Report
The Stretch: It looks like the vertical stretch has finally stabilized, and the plants are now focusing 100% of their energy on bud development.
Canopy Check: Iβve been performing some light defoliation to make sure light is reaching the lower bud sites. Airflow is key right now to prevent any moisture buildup in those thickening clusters.
Flower Development: The pistils are still mostly white and reaching out, meaning we still have plenty of swelling left to do.
Growerβs Note: Keep an eye on the leaf tips! With the addition of the PK 13-14, I'm watching closely for any signs of nutrient burn, but so far, the girls are drinking it up like champs.
πΈ Whatβs Next?
The plan for the coming days is to maintain a steady environment and keep the pH dialed in. Iβll be watching the buds get thicker and stickier by the hour.
Im not criticizing, just sort of writing what I am thinking and daydreaming about. Looking at that last photo for some reason I think it was just too early for training. To be honest I never saw anyone start training that early before, and was sort of daydreaming about removing the tie downs you have there, and packing dirt under and on top of the stem so just the greens stay outside in the light. The burried section may start developing roots.
@The_Wanderer, I know it's a bit a early for her but it was kinda impulsive experiment, for my next grow hopefully it's not have a bad effect on her.
But it's really great idea I will implement it in the next grow. She so pretty though fingers crossed π€ that it do good.
I would love to know your opinion on the training for the pineapple Express, in my other diary.
@wolfvb, I thinks its an interesting experiment too. I'll check back to see what happens. Sure, I will take a look at the other diary, but I'm no training expert. Most all my LST plants have trouble holding up their branches in late flower and I end up with gardening wire everywhere.
She looks really healthy, use the βlifting pot techniqueβ before watering to determine the amout of water she needsβ¦I also started using a watering can with the sprinkler end to evenly water around the plant in your cause you probably can rotate the pot to even distribution.
also using those plastic training clamps πππ loving them but had to remove them at some point as the branches were to big for them π π π i think is the Nectar Drip the one i am training with them π π π looking great keep it up my friend πππGrowers Love πππππππ
@wolfvb, its my first time using them, im divided in therms of if i like or not hihihi learned the hard way that they are temporary lol πGrowers Love buddy π
@wolfvb, all good buddy it was my bad and i end up fixing it wit white paint tape πππ one live to learn and there was a lesson here and one learned πππ Growers Love my friend πππ
