9/16 /19 - no updates today. 9/17/19 - no watering today. 9/18/19 - watered the girl. Added terpinator to the mix around 1 tsp. Will wait to see what happens. 9/19/19 - Found slight nutrient burn and yellowing leaves. I've learned that leaves give the energy needed to produce flowers. Silly me lol. I've realized I may have defoliated too much. We are 30 days +. I believe with the leaves I have left I can make some strong bud. So far shes still pushing. Expecting mid October harvest. 9/20/19 - After many professional opinions I may have a ph imbalance or I need to up the nutes due to how much this girl needs at this stage in flowering. Updated the nutes and will see if things change. Bag of seeds is a true challenge especially when you're a newbie and it's a random seed. It's like a pot luck. This is all for my own grow knowledge. So far we are still pushing. 9/21/19 - No signs of nutrient burn. Plan on flushing her tomorrow and adding a fresh set of nutes. This should fix her problem other than that her buds are looking nicer everyday. I sure do love a challenge tho and this guys is truly a challenge πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜¬ 9/22/19 - Flushed her with ph balanced then added a fresh set of nutes to see if it helps with her final weeks of flowering.

So this is a regular seed from some bud probably ak47, cherry pie, something that area. Wanted to test my growing skills. So far so good and have had no problems besides natural yellowing from now light. Any thoughts on on health by looks? Approaching 21 days into flowering.

They are looking nice but a bit stretchy which makes me think that the light is probably a bit too high , so maybe by reducing the distance between the light and the too of the plant the buds development will be a bit faster and they'll be fattening more. Continue with the same method

Day 44 flowering for this girl. When should I start flushing with organic molasses for harvest? I'm feeling shes got a week or 2 more until I can start flushing for a week or two. So maybe a month left total till harvest? Your thoughts? Also any drying/curing methods?

Hi @Visions! Molasses can be added at any stage of the plant's lifecycle, but most of us add sugars/molasses during the late flowering stage, in order to make the terpenes and the resin production explode. If you're 1 month away from harvest keep on feeding with P+K and slowly add some molasses, starting with small doses. I would recommend to stop molasses intakes a few days before the chop, and finish with RO water or tap water, to ensure a good flush. Now about the drying process, hanging the stems upside down in your grow tent is the easiest way to go! But you need to control your RH (~50%) and have a continuous temp (20-22Β°C / 68-72Β°F). Depending on your environment and weather conditions you might need to increase or decrease the relative humidity, you can use a mister (to increase) or a dehumidifier (to decrease), be warned that a good dehumidifier is quite expensive. Be very careful about your drying process, check your buds everyday and don't rush it or you will ruin your final product. Too-long drying on the other hand can lead to mold/bud-rot issues, this is why a daily inspection is more than required. About the trimming, I usually remove only the big fan leaves, and let the sugar leaves around the buds, because they're full of trichomes and will re-cover your buds when drying. This helps in protecting the buds for a long curing (5 to 10 weeks depending on your environment) and gives you more green happiness in the end, but on the other side it's more clorophyl in your smoke. Then, put everything in jars for the curing process (grandma's glass jars are perfect), keep on watching the buds everyday, mold can corrupt and destroy your product very quickly, you just need to open the jars 5mins everyday and move the buds for a close inspection + air freshening. Finally, act as a cooker with its fresh products : try a bit of your product whenever you think it's ready, your smoker's skills will help in setting up the perfect curing process! Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing πŸ‘Š

you're doing amazingly well , @Visions ! Just one thing is that downwards curling that's from waterlogging because your soil isnt completely dry before you water it, so you've got a slight water mold issue, you can tell from the clawing of the leafs , to fix this you need to ffollow a stricter wet dry cycle and break down the problem roots with a chelation agent such as humic or fluvic acid, enzymes, h202 or beneficial bacteria although these might not take as the bad mold always seems to beat out the good stuff... hope this helps ! πŸš€

@Visions, no single formula, the problem is probably from an accumulation over time so "one day without water more from now on until forever" is probably not a great idea, unfortunately is no one rule and the plant might drink more and more or even less near the end of its life, so it really depends... try the lifting pot method to never overwater again. One last thing : very minor problem, for now, so dont sweat it ! www.youtube.com/watch

@CRiSPrGrow, Ahhhh I see. Well that is very helpful. Will cut back a day when watering and see what happens! Thanks for the input! Hopefully this won't affect my harvest??
