Week 11, concluding the eleventh week of vegetating:
Hi(gh) guys!
If this is going to work like I’d imagined it with those paper bags and clips, in combination with the mainline-adapters to generate some male pollen out of a single pheno, then I must say it is an fairly easy method. Today was the last day of spraying silver water onto the branches inside the bags, but since there is another week of transitioning before flowering is completely started, I will consider to continue spraying a couple of times maybe. Then for the first four weeks of flowering I must watch out not to squeeze the bags, for I’ll maybe accidently pollinate the wrong buds. At the end of those four weeks I can cut away the entire things, branches sticks and all, and extract the pollen in a safe environment.
Plant A is real beautiful, and grown like I hoped, with the offshoots from the top branches led to the sides, allowing the lower growing offshoots to fill that space. Plant B is for some part also nice and big, only the offshoots don’t grow as much as I’d hoped. For plant C that’s also a bit the case only I’d let all the branches grow, not sacrificing any for making seeds, and I’m happy because this pheno is really nice. Last week I’d stretched the main branches a bit too much, so this week gave them again some space since plant C is still a bit lower than the rest. So now it can gain a bit extra height by stretching too the light again.
Every plant shows signs of flowering with hairs appearing everywhere, so next week those little green crowns will be formed, calling in the flowering phase.
Tomorrow the twelfth week starts for the GoldBars, and just the fifth week for the Smoothie auto’s, only at this point their growing schedules come together and they continue to use the same mix during the next week.
I’m looking forward to see you back and check on the Gold Bar’s progress next week!
Grtz, Budcrack ;-)
I don't know the solution, but even though the pic is fuzzy, I can see an eye and some legs, that is definitely a thrip. If you Google Image that, you'll see right away that's what it is.
Hi Bud, 20 weeks of grow=? omg... iam not that patient.
Girl looks wonderful, and the thripse are under control... sounds grat looks great. Happy flush
@Mrs_Larimar, hi, yeah well i'm hoping to reach a certain level of quality, and my Gen. I Led-lights don't eactly hurry things up, so it takes longer to reach that point. That would be my best exp, only also realizing the longer a grow takes, the bigger the chance to pic up some pest! Thanks, nice to hear 👊
Hello friend. How are you? I haven't written to you in a long time. Do you still smoke the buds from the last harvest?😜
I'm running out of staff. 😩
I've started a new cycle, check it out!👊
