Week 6, concluding the sixth week of vegetating:
Hi(gh) guys!
Like I told with last week’s update, at the time I should have made this update I was still busy trimming bud. This took not only Saturday and update-Sunday, but also Monday and Tuesday I’d had to find time to finish trimming outside my other obligations. Monday two of the three Gold Bar Kush plants where tied down enough to make some nice pictures, the last one of them (B) was still not far enough so I’d finished today on Wednesday. And that’s half way during week 7, I know! So those pictures are from today, only plant B, the others where done on Monday. So now that I ‘Mansplained’ myself out of this mess, and everything ads up again, let’s move on to this update:
From this point onward the plan is to further lead the branches sideways and wait until they start growing up again. Meanwhile this week the tent is empty again, so next up is cleaning it up and moving the plants into the tent underneath the Scroggmaster 450, but still without the side-bars. In the tent the plants have room to grow further, so I can replace the sticks supporting the bottom 4 branches for a longer stick, so the bottom branches can grow passed the top ones. Meanwhile the top branches are being retarted until the bottom branches are up to level with them. I had some experimenting with ponytailing before, and it works only with a few buts and ifs, otherwise the chance is great to do more damage than it helps. And that’s why I’ll write this technique off, personal opinion, but I came up with an alternative that I’m going to try. More about that next time.
Also, I’d plan to start on Sunday 8-12 with the colloidal silver water, but the plants just are not where I want them to be, so I’d opted to postpone this treatment until they are. I’m hoping to grow three really big plants out of the fabric pots. And finally boost that gram/watt/plant ratio!
I’m looking forward to see you back and check on the Gold Bar’s progress next week!
Grtz, Budcrack ;-)
I don't know the solution, but even though the pic is fuzzy, I can see an eye and some legs, that is definitely a thrip. If you Google Image that, you'll see right away that's what it is.
Hi Bud, 20 weeks of grow=? omg... iam not that patient.
Girl looks wonderful, and the thripse are under control... sounds grat looks great. Happy flush
@Mrs_Larimar, hi, yeah well i'm hoping to reach a certain level of quality, and my Gen. I Led-lights don't eactly hurry things up, so it takes longer to reach that point. That would be my best exp, only also realizing the longer a grow takes, the bigger the chance to pic up some pest! Thanks, nice to hear 👊
Hello friend. How are you? I haven't written to you in a long time. Do you still smoke the buds from the last harvest?😜
I'm running out of staff. 😩
I've started a new cycle, check it out!👊
