'Do Si Dos' by i49

Hello and welcome to end of Week 5, Bloom, w/ Do-Si-Dos (The Hobbit House). Going to keep this week relatively short. The deets: The Good: -No complaints at all. DSD had a great week and is stacking really well. She's already damn near caked in trichs and it's looking like I'll be able to hit breeder specs if I/she keeps this up. ( Breeder spec 25-29% THC) -Her terpene profile seems to be the weakest of all 4 plants. It's clearly Mercene, but you have to get right up in her to smell it. I do trust and hope her profile will develop to be much stronger in the coming 3-4 weeks as she ripens. It's getting better, just a bit behind the others terpene dev.👍 Who knows, maybe she's supposed to be mild and I'm just so used to pungent smoke... The Bad: -No bad at all. DSD chugging along The 'Meh': -Accidental semi-drought with her mid week. Had my intake blowing at her without rotating and she dried way quicker then projected and I wasn't paying attention. No damage was done but she did noticeably droop out after her feed (even after priming the soil with water). She wasn't too happy and it took about 6 hrs before she bounced back in full. My bad! Sorry Dosee. -She eats less. This isn't really a 'meh', she's just smaller and doesn't take as much as her counter parts. She usually gets fed every 4-5 days while the others are 3-4 days. Makes total sense, though. The others are huge and have greater needs, DSD is just a happy, squat little one. Notes of the Week: -Not lazy but busy. There are no progression pictures for most all girls in these updates. I have some pictures but they're under blurple and I don't feel they would serve a purpose. Next week, promise👌 -All in all I'm very happy with all girls in the tent. Everyone is bulking up very well and they're all getting along, lol. -Trichome development is blowing me away. I really like my high potency strains and all these girls should put out a great potent smoke. Rule of thumb for me is "I can always take away, but I can't add back in". I don't have a super high tolerance with these specific strains (If they do pull 25-29%) but I cut my potent smoke with a less potent 12.0, medicinal, milled flower (Very cheap). My high potency cannabis serves me very well doing this and it lasts a lot longer. -Roughly 10-12 days since all defo work and trim. Nothing happened. They are all happy and showed no signs of stress at the time of the cuts, all the way up to now. I'm feeling very happy and confident in myself that I did the clean up and reached out to other growers that knew what they were talking about. I didn't tag the person that helped me with the clean up, and that seems rude. Thanks to @QUEENoftheLARF for her advice and solid info. -Determined there is no Nitrogen deficiency shortly after my last weeks update, on NL #1 and 2. They're just naturally changing colors now. Makes sense. 7-8 week flowering window and we're at the end of week 5. She should start to turn a bit. Also, purple phenos on both NL #1 and 2 have been allowed to show themselves. Moving my temperature down slowly until it's about 18 degrees night temp. I plan to lower the temp slowly and it should hit a solid 18 by week 7 when I'd like the pheno's to pop. -King Kola has been applied in two applications over 9 days on all girls and I'm starting to see results. I may be crazy, or this my be a coincidental time, but these girls are bulking up really fast. Comparing my colas in grow one, Week 5 of bloom is pretty clear. This grow wins over #1 in almost every way, so far. SUPER! Told you I'd keep it short (This was short for me, lol). Might throw in a "What I learned this week" later on...but for now, let's take it easy.
