In hindsight I should transplanted these from the solo cup right about now - a week later. The stems are getting stronger and I think the roots would have been more developed. Shit got ugly while transplanting. Shocked three of them survived
Editors note 4.22.18: I should have waited on the LST. I later topped these so no need to bend the stem down now. It did make the plants shorter, but I had room.
Looks like you had a bit of a phosphorus deficiency that later cleared up when you started using nutes. If that is actually the case I would question your soil as the plants were way to small to be having that problem at that time
This to me looks more like over-fertilizing. For me the best is 1 fertilizer 1 water. Much water and a revive/root solution after water or with the water i think it would be great. Anyway as i see them is no reason to worry. It looks like you will have a great harvest!
Hey space...I ordered this strain also from the same bank, I'm so excited that you've gotten her so close to harvest. I've tried just GSC and Green crack...I'm so interested to see what your opinions on it are once you've finished it. I have a hard time with a lot of strains so I'm curious to see what its effects and everything are like once you get the chan've to sample it. :)
@Spaceballs,
That's usually how I pick my strains too. I've got the strawberry cough going now, and its the happiest nonanxious strain I've found. But the plant has had some unusual growth patterns occurring...possibly just a weak seed outta the bunch I suppose.
@Experimentgreen, I will absolutely let you know. I chose this strain because of the happy/euphoric feeling it’s ancestors produce so I am hoping for the same thing here as well. I am stoked at how well she is coming out so far, definitely did not expect that from my first grow!
They eat a lot of N when growing, even a bit after they started flowering. Just feed them more nitrogen and you won't see any more yellowing died leaves on the bottom. :-) Gl!
Your plants look great, I didn't see the yellow leaf anymore...did you remove it or did it fall off? I'm so glad you didn't have a lasting problem, I hope it was some deficiency rather than a toxicity, which seems to do so much worse damage.
@Spaceballs,
I think many people do just water in an attempt to flush out built up nutrients and salts, so that their buds don't taste bad. However I know many of the nutrient company's do have a supplement that can be used during flushing to boost the flavor etc of buds....but you could always just go to the grocery store and buy some molasses, add that to your water and it will sweeten and bulk buds too.
What's the saying? "There's a million ways to skin a cat"? Lol
@Spaceballs,
Yea I saw alot of your leaf tips turning color, but its not always a bad thing in the end if you make to harvest and do a really good flush...maybe throw a sledgehammer in there. I have a friend who grows for the G men and he swears by adding a lot of nutes bloom etc in the end. I however don't necessarily agree, too much of anything isn't good for you right? But I suppose everyone has their own technique and opinions. :)
They all look great though so hats off to you.
@Spaceballs This looks like a phosphorous deficiency. How often do you feed your plants with nutrients and how often do you give them plain PHed water? Anyway this seem to be solved since your plants are healthy and beautiful. Enjoy your product! 👊
