I loved growing the plant, she was easy and took well to intense training and 12:12 during the flowering phase. She is a good grow-along, if you have room for a small plant that you want to grow next to a bigger plant, as I did. The colours 😍 wow, this plant surely is a big joy to your eyes and nose. My pheno started fading her leaves to a dark-purple early on. Looked very pretty. She was my strongest and most pleasant smelling plant so far. Very nice berry smell, in the tent and in the grinder. Nice and amazing to see something so beautiful come from nature πŸ™ She is a fast grower and was finished after only 66 days in total. The buds are rather on the fluffy side, but still beautiful. In regards to the taste, she tastes like berries, that's it πŸ˜† Very enjoyable grow and a beautiful plant ✌️

Reviews. Nutrient
Not a lot to compare, but also nothing to complain. Especially Heaven seems to be making the biggest difference.
Seems to help with flushing the plant by the end of the grow or in between and introduce a nice fade.
Reviews. Lamp
Happy with this product. The light does not get hot and it is quiet. It perfectly fits both my 60x60 grow tent and my diy box with similar sizes.
Reviews. Tent
This is my second grow in the tent and the zippers from the main door slowly start to rip on the fabric, which makes it's bottom threads come out. This could lead to the zipper getting stuck or it gets harder to open the tent. After only 2 grows over couple of month, this should not happen. Still I like the tent and see what I can do about it.

I grew this strain together with another photoperiod strain and one more Autoflower. It was a matter of either using the space in the tent or not. So πŸ™Œ They all vegged together and as soon as those two Autoflowers where ready to flower, I switched them all together to 12:12 light schedule. That worked perfectly for both plants. Since I'm still learning and this has been my third grow so far, I also wanted to test, not only how Autos react to 12:12 in Flower, but also how well they took the so called "Quadline"-training. You remove the bottom nodes and then top. Out of the 4 remaining nodes, you spread a "X" and train those to the outside of the pot. This is the short version, I talk about this more in my diary. Both plants got this training (actually all three), and all lost one of their arms due to hulking :) Oh my. I keep that in mind for my future calculations, as in 1/4 was missing in total. The Blackberry was an eager plant growing, fat stems and big leaves. She was leading until the end of the growth. She looked finished early on, but not so much from her trichomes. Def. need to check those, since she doesn't show any other obvious signs, at least not for me. In veg phase this strain def. needed a little extra CalMag, she seemed pretty hungry. Drying - I tried this strain two different ways: 1. Low and Slow Dry in the fridge and 2. Regular Dry in a dry tent with 52% RH and 21Β°C - only 6 days of Drying. For the low and slow dry, you wash the buds untrimmed in a baking powder and lemon mix. Then you hang dry them in a well ventilated box to hang dry for 4-8 hours. Trim your buds a little, then weigh 28g of fresh flower per paper bag and put them in your normal fridge. I have them lay flat next to each other in their paper bags, to not touch. Every day I give them a gentle shake in the paper. Be prepared for great smells the first 2 days. It's called the lemon pepper steak in my house πŸ˜† Around the 7 day mark, I take them out and let them come to room temperature. Then they go inside a glas jar to do the humidity test. You need to measure humidity inside the glas. After 12 hours, if you are above 75%, they need to go back to the fridge. The next day, same procedure until you get them below 75%. Then you can cure them in your jars like the rest. If you are interested, don't hesitate to ask me or go to 420magazine.com to check on the low and slo dry. The Blackberry out of the fridge was equally as nice as the regular dried ones. For bag appeal, both look and taste amazing. I prefer my fridge dried ones, especially for preparing oils. Will def. grow this strain again and have a closer look at the medicinal values of purple buds 😍

@Bushbaby808, the first 2-3 days they really give off a strong and hearty smell 😜 This is how I do the fridge dry: You need three buckets/bowls with water. For 5 gallon water, I use 1/4 cup Lemon Juice and 1/4 cup Baking Soda. If you need smaller buckets, calculate it accordingly. So one bucket with the lemon/baking mix and two buckets with just plain water. Take your colas, dip & swirl (w/o touching the sides) them in lemon mix water, then dip in clear and then again in the 3rd clear water bucket. Hang dry for 4-8 hours, with little air circulating. Then trim a little and take of the cola. Weigh 28g buds per paper bag (roughly 7g dry). Lay them flat in the bag in the fridge. Don't put bags on top of each other. Everyday give them gentle shake, but don't open. After 6-7 days, take out of fridge, let come to room temp for couple of hours. Then put in glas jar with hygrometer for 8-12 hours. If humidity above 75%, they go back in the fridge, next day, same game. If below, they are ready for curing outside the fridge. It's really simple and sooooo good, esp. when you can't control drying conditions. Check 420magazine thread as well, for more detailed info (search for Low and slow dry). Have a good day and let me know how it went β˜€οΈβœŒοΈ

@starke, The Lemon Pepper Steak!! πŸ‘πŸ˜„. I'm just wondering how the lemons are added to the baking soda mix?? Freshly squeezed, Grated?? Sounds like we're making a great cake πŸ˜‰....... It'll be great for me to try this with part of my harvest, I'm going to struggle to keep temps down during drying due to no air con so fridge drying would be perfect πŸ˜‹ Cheers Bud...

Hi @Geordiejesus β˜€οΈdon't be so hard on yourself, your plant looks perfect for where she is 😍 They are all different. I never got a plant to really grow in height like yours, which I would like. On the other side, this is only my second Indoor run, so I'm not stressing out (well, I am, sometimes πŸ€ͺ) Have a good day and happy to see your LSD getting all fat and bulky βœŒοΈπŸƒ

Nice colours man, yum yum. Definitely strains that i wanna grow soon! Whats that with the bananas? Compost?
starke
starkecommented5 years ago
Thanks @@YellowSubmarine β˜€οΈ and yes, definitely nice colors. In Week 9 in my diary, I added the bananas, see here: "I also added a yellow banana to each their pot. I'm quoting from here: https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/a-stoners-random-thoughts.277723/page-41#post-4131431 "Bananas, and in fact all ripening fruit, emits ethylene gas, which ramps up the ripening of the cannabis in flower." I'm all up for "bro-science" and love trying stuff like that." Happy growing ✌️

question! i noticed you start counting days differently from others i've seen...what do you wait to see until you can officially say "its day 1"?
starke
starkecommented5 years ago
Hi @briefbriefs β˜€οΈ I recently started doing this after reading it from a guy in a different forum and it made sense to me. Whenever the seedling first shows his head above soil, it's Day 1 of Seedling week. After exactly 1 week I then count it as Day 1 of Vegetation week. Hope that helps. Happy day πŸƒ
