WEEK 1 (Germ date 20/6/2020 - 26/6/2020) 17/6/2020 - 5 Blue Dream CBD seeds from Seedsman soaked in Growth Technology Nitrozyme 10ml/L for 24 hours 18/6/2020 - All seeds have sunken in the plastic cup. Seeds then transferred to paper towel and wet with Nitrozyme mixed earlier. Humidity dome closed with hygrometer inside 20/6/2020 - Inline fan moved to the front of the tent to allow the big oscillating fan to be positioned at the back. Tote box, tubes and water pump cleaned and allowed to run in H2O2 mixed with O2 for 24 hours before nutrients added. Germinated seeds transplanted to root riot and placed in humidity dome. Temp 23-25, RH 80-90 22/6/2020 - All seeds are in seedling stage. Seedlings in root riot placed in their respective net pot and space filled with hydroton clay pebbles. Two plants per tank. Top feeding tubes positioned to each net pot, not touching the root riot directly( to prevent the roots from growing into the tubes). Plants covered by a transparent plastic container to maintain humidity. Out of 4 plants, two will be chosen by the third week to continue to harvest. Light set at around 25 percent brightness at 30 inches height. 23/6/2020 - I've made a huge mistake for one of the plants. The seed shell was still intact and recklessly I decided to remove it manually. Huge mistake. I accidentally pinched off the top part which is presumably the cotyledon. But not entirely gone though. I can still see the green base of the cotyledon. Let's see if it can recover. 24/6/2020 - Well the plant that got accidentally pinched, is still growing!

WEEK 2 ( 27/6/2020 - 3/7/2020) 27/6/2020 - The growth rate is quite slow considering DWC. Only the first set of leaves after cotyledon has appeared. Leaves appear healthy. 28/6/2020 - I decided to replace the nutrient today. Hope the plants would improve with the new nute regime.

WEEK 3 (4/7/2020 - 10/7/2020) 7/7/2020 - Growth Tech Nitrozyme, 5ml/500ml water foliar spray done for all 4 plants including the under leaves. I think I'll be doing this every 4 days until flowering 9/7/2020 - OK change of plans. I'll be changing the res nutes tomorrow. After 2 or 3 days, if the plants growth are vigorous, I'll perform my first topping for mainlining. 10/7/2020 - Successfully transplanted one of the big plant to the other tank and one of the small to the other. Then removed the top feeding tubes and both water pumps. Went rather well I'd say. Well we can only find out tomorrow if I have caused any major stress.

WEEK 4 (11/7/2020 - 17/7/2020) 11/7/2020 - About an hour after transplant yesterday, the leaves were noticeably droopy. But this morning it's back to normal! So things are looking good! I think I might be able to perform my first topping tomorrow. 12/7/2020 - Noticed plant 1 new leaves tips are clawing in and the leaves appear darker green. I'm guessing nitrogen toxicity. But all the other plants seem to be doing OK. Maybe the phenotype is a bit nute sensitive. So the plan is to observe for 2 days and decide if I should change the res nutes to a lower dose. Decided to top both plants today. Plant 1 just passed the 6th node and plant 2 8th node. Topped both plants and removed the lower bud sites but not the fan leaves. 13/7/2020 - The plants are recovering well from the topping yesterday. But the leaves appear to seem darker. I'll change the res nute today with lower dose of micro, gro and bloom from 4ml/gal to 2.5 ml/gal. Such a pointless decision of changing the nute the last time. I'm just going back to the previous dose now, when I could have easily topped up the nute res instead of changing it entirely. Well now I know how sensitive and bitchy growing in DWC can be. Lesson learnt. 14/7/2020 - The plants bounced back after the res change yesterday. Decided to top the backup plant since it's doing so well and started growing its 6th node. I think this strain is nute sensitive. I'll maintain the current regime until I flip to flowering.

WEEK 5 (18/7/2020 - 24/7/2020) 20/7/2020 - Second topping performed for both plants. Topped just above the third node. Cleaned the bottom nodes entirely including the leaves. I decided to throw away the backup plant. But noted that the roots have tangled with plant one. Instead of pulling it apart I cut the root closer to the backup plant and hope that I didn't accidentally cut plant 1's roots. 21/7/2020 - First Bending down of the two branches done for both plants. The branches are much bigger and harder now but I've managed to pull it down to almost 90 degrees. 23/7/2020 - Third and final topping done for plant 2 today. It was a little early but after the second node started appearing yesterday and today I have more room to to make the cut without any accidents, I decided not to waste more time. Plant 1 is still developing its first node. Perhaps in 2 days time I can perform its final topping. 24/7/2020 - Both tanks topped up with 2 gallons of nute each. All these while the light was at 26 inches at 50 percent brightness. At this I get an average of 26 degrees light on, 23 light off. I tried to follow to manufacturer recommendation of 36 inches during veg at highest intensity. But even at 75 percent brightness, the temp rose up to 31 degrees, Rh at 47. But with the tent fully open, the temp can go as low as 26. Right now the AC is at 20 degrees. I think I'll just leave the tent door open for now. There is a concern of pests but I've managed to effective close up all the holes in the room minus the air intake hole which is covered by a filter.

Week 6 (25/72020 - 31/7/2020) 25/7/2020 - The 3rd and final topping done for plant 1. The hard part is over! Now I just have to maintain the canopy and look for any issue until harvest. I tried to bend down the branches of plant 2 but failed tremendously. The new branches are still young and brittle. Yep I broke a branch. It was almost a clean cut. Quickly applied micropore plaster. Then I thought about how I could do it differently. Perhaps if I supercrop the base a bit, then maybe I can bend it easier. So I tried this idea on another branch. Well.... Broke that too. Again micropore plaster came to rescue. The second break is not as bad as the first. Looks like I'll be losing at least 2 bud sites. So stupid... 28/7/2020 - I decided to top for the fourth time for plant 2 to cover for the mistakes I did earlier. Such a stupid and unnecessary mistake to happen. Now I have to be in veg even longer. I'm not going to touch the plant at all until the new branches develop up to 3 - 4 nodes. 29/7/2020 - Top up 2 gallon each tank. 5 gallon water mixed with the following: Cal mag - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Micro - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Gro - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Bloom - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Ph 6.01 Ppm 620 Temp 22. 8

Week 7 (1/8/2020 - 7/8/2020) 3/8/2020 - Bent down all the branches. Plant 1 looks symmetrical. Plant 2 may not be symmetrical because of the accident last week. But I have managed to cover the mistake by topping again. I have 9 branches now! The partially cut branch from last week recovered. 7/8/2020 - Both plants defoliated again and bent down to same height. Lower nodes removed to allow the formation of mainlining frame. Humidifier moved to the front. Plant 1 tank topped up to 2 gallons and plant 2, 3 gallons. Top up 2 gallon each tank. 5 gallon water mixed with the following: Silicon - 1ml/gal ~ 7ml. Cal mag - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml. Micro - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml. Gro - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml. Bloom - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml. Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 10ml. Nitrozyme - 5ml/10L ~ 10ml. Ph 6.09 Ppm 520 Temp 21.9

Week 8 (8/8/2020 - 14/8/2020) 7/8/2020 - Both plants defoliated again and bent down to same height. Lower nodes removed to allow the formation of mainlining frame. Humidifier moved to the front. Plant 1 tank topped up to 2 gallons and plant 2, 3 gallons. Top up 2 gallon each tank. 5 gallon water mixed with the following: Silicon - 1ml/gal ~ 7ml Cal mag - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Micro - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Gro - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Bloom - 2.5ml/gal - 12ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 10ml Nitrozyme - 5ml/10L ~ 10ml Ph 6.09 Ppm 520 Temp 21.9 11/8/2020 - LST readjusted. Both plants canopy made even level. Transition nutrient mixed but not replaced in tank. Perhaps tomorrow or the day after. I wanted to try out the kushman defoliation technique of removing all the lower nodes except the top most withhout removing the fan leaves. But at this stage I'm just tired of waiting longer for it to recover before flipping to 12/12. It has been 2 month of veg after all. Perhaps for my next grow. I'm thinking of flipping to 12/12 in 3 days time. Let's see if the plants are ready by then. 13/8/2020 - Full nutrient change done. Roots appear healthy for both plants. Nutrient mixed with 20 gallon filtered water: Silicon - 1.5ml/gal ~ 30ml Cal mag - 5ml/gal - 100ml Micro - 4ml/gal - 80ml Gro - 4ml/gal - 80ml Bloom - 4ml/gal - 80ml Humic Acid - 1ml/L - 76ml ~30ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 40ml Nitrozyme - 5ml/10L ~ 30ml Ph 6.24 Ppm 800 Temp 23

WEEK 9 - 15/8/2020 - 21/8/2020 14/8/2020 - Light timing changed to 12/12 today. 19/8/2020 - Nutrient mixed with 20 gallon filtered water. Each tank topped up with 5 gallon and balance is kept for next week: Silicon - 1.5ml/gal ~ 30ml. Cal mag - 5ml/gal - 100ml. Micro - 4ml/gal - 80ml. Gro - 4ml/gal - 80ml. Bloom - 4ml/gal - 80ml. Humic Acid - 1ml/L - 76ml ~30ml. Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 40ml. Nitrozyme - 5ml/10L ~ 30ml. pH 6.24, Ppm 800, Temp 23 21/8/2020 - Heavy defoliation done for both plants. For plant 1, I removed all the bottom leaves and bud sites and left behind the top 3 nodes. Not exactly Kushman and not exactly Schwazzing but a very close combination of both. As for plant 2, I only removed the bottom most bud sites and big fan leaves. Less aggressive than plant 1. LST readjusted to maintain even canopy for both plants. Net pots are bulging out and few parts broken because of roots. I removed some hydroton clay pebbles and cut certain parts of the pot to allow the roots more space. So far, both plants drink almost 1 gallon a day and I am topping up every 5 days when the reservoir tank is half empty. For top ups I have not been reducing the amount of nute dosages. Same dose for all nutes. Current air cond setting (for future grow reference) : 12am - 12pm - T= 20 c, mode = dry, wind =lowest - - - - tent - T=20 c, Rh = 60 - 65 12pm - 12am - T=20 c, mode = cool, wind = medium - - - - tent - T=24 - 25 c, Rh = 60 - 65

WEEK 10 - 22-8-2020 - 28-8-2020 23/8/2020 - Plant 1 have started showing pistils. Plant 2 however after close inspection, looked like it has balls. But after further inspection it does have pistils as well. Two possibilities here. Either it's not a male sex organ OR I have a hermie. 26/8/2020 - Balance of 10 gallon nutes from last week used to top up 5 gallon for each tank.

WEEK 14 - 19-09-2020 - 25-09-2020 20/9/2020 - Starting to see discrepancies in the ph and ppm for the first time. In four days, the pH went 5.96 to 5.5. ppm went up from 820 to 840. So for the top up tomorrow I'll reduce the nutrient to 1/4 of previous dose. 21/9/2020 - Nutrients with 1/4 strength mixed with 20 gallon filtered water. Each tank topped up with 5 gallons. Silicon - 7ml Cal mag - 12ml Micro - 25ml Gro - 12ml Bloom - 40ml Hydroguard - 10ml Ph 5.89 Ppm 250 Temp 20 Did very minimal defoliation for plant 1. Just removed few leaves blocking the lower buds. So it's drinking a lot more h2o than it is consuming the nutrients. The low pH might explain why a lot more leaf tips are bending down. Hope after the new nute change, the growth would improve.

WEEK 16 - 03-10-2020 - 09-10-2020 3/10/2020 - Took macro shot of the buds and noticed few trichomes have pink tinge to it. Not all but a few. After checking the forums, it's not something pathological. Just looks really pretty. Plant 1 Ph is 5.3,ppm 880. Plant 2 Ph 5.7,ppm 720. Both plant drank 2 gallons in 3 days. Topped up with water wixed with Cal mag 1ml/gal and ph down to 6.4. After topping up, the pH went up to 5.7 for plant 1 and 5.9 for plant 2. 4/10/2020 - PH went down again to 5.4 for plant 1. PPM at 760. But water level is decreasing as well. So it's definitely drinking more than consuming nutrients. Just to be on the safe side, I'll be flushing with flora kleen for 24 hours tomorrow then replace with new nute mix the next day. I'll exclude Nitrozyme this time. Just base nutrients and Hydroguard. 6/10/2020 - Nutrient mixed with 20 gallon filtered water. Each tank replaced with 10 gallons. Week 19 - 24/10/2020 - 30/10/2020 25/10/2020 - Plant one reservoir complete change with 3ml/l of flora kleen. 27/10/2020 - Plant 1 harvested as planned today. I decided to try dry trimming this time. Plant cut at the base and and hung upside down to dry in the grow room. Temp is around 19-20 c and humidity 49-53. Hope it doesn't dry too fast. While moving the plant 2 reservoir I accidentally bent two buds. Not broken thankfully. Secured with plant ties. The buds are stacking up nicely. 30/10/2020 - 5 gallons of plain water topped up in plant 2 reservoir. Before adding water noted the pH was 4.4 and the ppm at 990. After adding water: Ph - 5.7 T - 20 PPM -740

2/11/2020 - Plant 2 reservoir complete change with 3ml/l of flora kleen. 3/11/2020 - Plant 1 trimming done today. Total dry weight for plant 1 is 233 grams. Very happy with the yield. I didn't expect anything more than 150g. 5 gorilla cookies seeds soaked in 10ml/L Nitrozyme for my next grow. 10/11/2020 - Plant 2 taken down from drying rack and trimming done. Total dry weight for plant 2 is 264 grams. So for both plants the total yield is 497 grams! That's almost 500g for just a plants. Very happy with my successful second grow. :)
the end.
