I am very proud and excited to run GelatO.G by Seedsman! I have seen a lot of awesome photos of this strain on Instagram. I hope I am able to do her justice! Wish me luck! P.S. At the time of writing this, she is now in day 3 of 12/2. She was sowed May 24, 2020 and was running out of room in a small 2x4 with 2 other vegging photos and an autoflower. I had to do a lot of training and defoliation to keep her a reasonable size for her space.

She is about 5 or 6 weeks into Veg here. I have just been training this girl like crazy trying to keep her under control! She grows like crazy even with my attempts at stunting her! I apologize for the BLURPLE lighting. Next pics will be much better!

8/3 Flipped to 10.5/13.5 light schedule. Less hours right now simply because the majority of flower tent is in late flower and have a few sativa dominant strains in the mix. It is: 70 days after sowing. 67 days after sprouting.

Hello growers! Thanks for joining me for another update in my grow adventure with GelatO.G! Observation: She is starting her stretch. She looks happy and healthy with nice green coloration. No indications of toxicity or deficiency and no indications of pests or disease. Method: I am holding back on defoliation until after she finishes her stretch in an effort to avoid stunting. I added some Dutch White Clover as a cover crop. Cover crops are new territory for me. Not only does it look cool, but I have read that it offers several benefits to your plants and rhizosphere. I plan to defoliate rather heavily around week 3 or so of 12/12, after she's done stretching. Thanks again for joining me. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns. Any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback is welcome and encouraged. 8/15 (Day 13 of 12/12): Many bud sites are starting to form and she looks happy and healthy. I did some very light selective defoliation throughout the week. As always, happy growing! Peace, love, and frosty nugs! ☮️💚❄️🌲

8/17 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this journey! It has been 15 days since moving this GelatO.G. lady into 12/12. Stretching in full force and packing on those calyxes! She looks happy and healthy to me. What do y'all think? Thanks for stopping in and if you get a chance, check out a few of my other diaries and give me a follow. Happy growin' friends! Peace, ☮️ Love, 💚 and Frosty Nugs! ❄️🌲 - Fo' Twenny

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "GelatO.G" from Seedsman Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. Everything is growing strong with this lady and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She is stretching nicely with good internodal spacing. She responded well to training and is growing perfectly without too much crowding. The leaves all look very healthy and are a nice shade of green. Based on her look and color now, I am guessing she should get some really nice colors as she fades towards the end of flower. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Thanks for checking out my diary. If you liked this diary, check out my other diaries and give me a follow! Until next time... Peace ☮️, Love 💚, And Frosty Nugs ❄️🌲! -Fo'Twenny

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our GelatO.G from Seedsman. She is looking really awesome. She keeps stacking on the calyxes and getting frosty! Overall, super healthy with leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, on with the deets! LIGHTING: Increased lighting at dimmer last week with good results. Was about 70k LUX on average @ Canopy. Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our GelatO.G from Seedsman Seeds! 9/9 - Day 38 of 12/12: I waited a day too long to water. So, she started to lightly wilt/droop a little bit. Some of the older leaves are already starting to fade a bit. Other than that, she is stacking up and getting frosty! 9/10 - Day 39 of 12/12: She is no longer dropping and looks much happier. Defoliated some leaves that were showing deficiencies. Now, on with the deets! LIGHTING: I had increased lighting at dimmer last week and I think this is causing some stress. It was also getting pretty hot in the tent, which could be part of reason the girls in bloom tent looked a little stressed. It got up to 86°F for 2 days and dimmed the lights to compensate. I will be upgrading the AC soon and maybe then I can experiment more with pushing the lighting intensity. Backing the light off to about 75k lux max at the canopy. It's week 9 and all she is presenting all of the beautiful colors of Fall 🍁 as she progresses deeper into senescence! She just seems to get frostier ❄️ by the day and her aroma is reminiscent a of sweet vanilla cake with a hint of kushy funk. I keep checking trichomes, but still not a much amber. Maybe another week or more. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. •••••••••••••••••••••••••• Oct. 5 - Oct. 11 •••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🕛 STARTED 12/12 CYCLE - 8/3 🌼 WEEK 9 FLOWER 🌼 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• WEEKLY SUMMARY: •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 🙋‍♀️Fo' Twenny here!🙋‍♀️ Back with another update on our 🍧🌊🌱 GELATO.G cultivar bred by SEEDSMAN SEEDS! This mostly Indica photo-dependant hybrid cultivar has a flowering time of 55-60 days and is still pushing out white pistils! I keep checking trichs every few days and were going for about 30-35% amber. That said, I will be letting her go past breeder recommended flowering time. This week, we will be giving very light feeds to get her progressing deeper into senescence. She looks better and smells stronger with each day that passes! This is going to be some really nice smoke! Observation: Ever since I upgraded the AC and have been maintaining lower temps, I notice that don't have to water nearly as often. Used to be about every 3 - 4 days, and now, its closer to 5 - 6 days. The White Dutch Clover may also play a factor here. I do mist the top of the pots with 1-2 oz every day to every other day with plain water to keep the White Dutch Clover happy. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. Now, for the weekly break down! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• THIS WEEK'S BREAK DOWN •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 10/6 - Day 65 of Bloom °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° 📸 PHOTOSHOOT! 📸 🚿FEED DAY!🚿 She received approximately 205 oz of solution. I let this lady go until day 77 and she definitely has a very strong Indica stone! Super potent, great terps, and beautiful dense buds. She is definitely a winner in my book! Her sweet creamy gassy buds smell and taste fantastic. She belongs omg the top shelf for sure!

She was really very easy to grow. She had some beautiful coloration I'm late flower and she seemed happy the whole way through. She is really a very nice Cultivar. I flushed about 5 days prior to harvest and she finished her fade and gave her the chop. It was an easy grow. Highly recommended!
