This started off as a stoned idea. I thought why not get a setup so i can start a new batch b4 the last ones finish so by the time my main tent will be ready the plants will already be a few weeks on.
I got a secret jardin dp60 and some 17w sunblaster lights and managed squeeze this new setup into my grow room.
In my eagerness I started this grow to early and have had to dry my previous plants in my grow room instead of the tent, so that stunk for a good solid 10 days.
The seeds took about 3 days to break surface. Once they did I put them in net pots and then into my tub with sprayers, set to spray for 15 mins then off for 2 hrs.
By day 5 all 3 had roots out the net pots. Day 6 turned the lights to 20/4.
Day 9 I put the water pump on constant.
Day 11 I changed out last weeks nutes and did a fresh mix on this weeks schedule.
Day 13 changed light time to 18/6.
Struggled keeping water temps below 28deg this week. But they have got through it OK.
This week also went ok. I need to finish with my other tent ASAP.
I trimed 1.5 inch off the roots on day 15.
On day 20 I topped the amnesia before the 6th node.
Day 21 strawberry and gelato both got topped the same as the amnesia. Also I transplanted the plants into coco and put them in my main tent. Hopefully they transplant well. I am using this weeks feed schedule in the coco.
This week was OK, all 3 pretty much spent the week recovering from the transplant. I had a ph problem I set my res at Ph6.5 which I feel was a bit to high, once I brought it down to 6.2 the plants continued as normal.
Now my last plant from last grow is out the tent I am going unhide the dairy, really couldn't b bothered running multiple diary's live.
All 3 plants coming on nice. I snapped a main cola from the strawberry by accident when doing some training.
Day 35 they are transitioning into flower, so i have stripped all nodes off all 3 plants below there top flower.
I'm trying to get just the main colas to flower with very little side branching.
Its not been a bad week.
Strawberry pie has had some training but I haven't done much in the way of defoliation. She is very lanky and I have had to really spread her out to keep the hight down.
Gelato has had some training and I have still been removing nodes that where opposite each other. The nodes are now staggering. She is small and bushy and could do with stretching a bit.
Amnesia has also been trained and defoliation the same as Gelato. She is doing the best so far, nice and bushy thick stems and about to stretch.
All 3 are still doing well, the strawberry pie is well into early bloom, she is a little further along then the amnesia which in turn is just a little in front of the gelato. Feeding all 3 the same schedule at the moment. I'm happy with how all 3 have handled being started in hydro then moved over to coco and they have all been topped and heavily defoliated.
This week I have put the radiator in the room as temps outside are starting to fall. Temps and humidity still fine.
Strawberry pie is coming on, I removed a few fan leaves this week that looked a bit spent. The colours on her are amazing she is like a white with black spots in her, can't get a picture that shows her off.
Gelato has sprung into action this week and got a bit of a stretch on. I have left slightly more smaller nodes on this plant compared to the others. She looks healthy.
Amnesia has only grown a little in height this week, was hoping for a stretch but I think she is going to stay short and fat.
All 3 plants still been on same feed. Think all 3 going to finish at different times.
The week was going fine, then day 60 I spotted 2 fungus knats. Temps have dropped a bit and the coco hasn't been drying out as quick so I have over watered a bit. Currently correcting the knats. By day 63 i had found 15 knats in total. I'll keep a closer eye on them next week.
This week I have found no more pests so I'm happy again. The strawberry pie just looks amazing, she is the farthest along and close to me switching to ripen then flush. She won't be a big yield but the amount of trichomes on her and the density she is showing is looking promising. The gelato has sprung into life this week, she is looking like she will be a few weeks behind the others on harvest, she has also reached the height of the strawberry. The amnesia is looking nice, she is just bulking up so I'm going to do a bit of fan leaf removal next week to get some more light lower down.
Strawberry pie is almost done, she is looking nice. I have took her off the nutrient cycle and gave her a mini flush with florakleen, she ready for ripen then flush.
Gelato is throwing out some nice colours and is starting bulking up, she is still on the nutrient cycle.
Amnesia is getting close, she might stay on the nutrient cycle for 1 more week then mini flush and ripen.
Definitely a split harvest again so preparing somewhere to dry.
Strawberry pie has been on ripen this week, so sometime next week i will start to flush.
Gelato is bulking up and showing some nice colours, leaving her on this feed for at least another week.
Amnesia is going onto ripen next week as she not far off.
Time to start planning my next grow.
Strawberry pie got switch onto flush on day 87. She is looking so frosty. I am looking forward to this one.
Gelato is on the nutrient feed above and will possible have a mini flush then ripen for a week then final flush. The colours on her are looking really nice.
Amnesia had a mini flush day 87 and 88. She is now on ripen for 5 to 10 days then final flush. She has finished bulking out.
1st harvest will be strawberry pie sometime during next week.😋
Strawberry pie got the chop just after the pics where taken on day 98. She was flushed for about 12 days, took ages for Ec levels to drop. I have definitely messed her up during the grow but she still managed some very frosty nugs.
Gelato got a mini flush with flora kleen on day 93 and is now on ripen for about 10 days, then flush. She has shown some real nice colours.
Amnesia was on ripen all week and has been stopped on day 98 so I can start the flush.
So the strawberry pie is drying for about a week then a cure for a week or two before I sample and post her harvest.
Both remaining plants have been moved to take better advantage off the light.
Harvest day was day 99
Dryed and trimmed day 105
Sample day 114
Strawberry pie threw out some nice redish purplish colours. To be honest I really enjoyed watching the colour come out of her. Unfortunately I over stressed her a bit, it could have been starting in a aeroponics unit and then transplanting into coco, it could have been through trimming the roots before I transplanted, or from topping or heavy defoliation. I did snap a branch early on. I still managed 1g shy of a oz which is OK.
The buds are decent, very frosty and very dense. The smoke is decent, very smooth.
I could have done better with the yield which is my fault, but the quality off the buds I got are top notch. Quality over quantity.
Strawberry pie is dry. Trimed on day 105 after 7 days of drying. Started to cure it for a week or so before I do a harvest week on her.
Gelato has been using ripen all week and is going to be flushed from day 106. She is in her final stage and looking promising.
Amnesia has just been on water this week. Her run off is still a little high so i will keep giving her water for probably another 3 or 4 days before the chop.
Strawberry has been cured for 7 days so far, will sample it in a few days and write up a harvest report.
Gelato has been flushed for the last 6 days and is in her last few days. She putting a little more weight on and now has the light to herself for a few days.
Amnesia got the chop on day 111 and is quite impressive for how short she grew. She is currently drying.
So some time next week all 3 will have been harvested and the 1st smoke report will arrive. Then its clean everything, make some modifications for winter and start another grow.
Growing your own is such a good hobby.
Amnesia auto grew quite short and dense. She didn't really have any problems during her time, handled the topping the defoliation and LST.
She went from seed to harvest in 111 days. Was dry trimmed on day 118. Sampled day 125.
Would recommend for people without much height in their grow area.
Gelato took a little longer then the others but I could have probably chopped her earlier. The buds look and taste awesome. She handled everything that was thrown at her.
She went from seed to harvest in 117 days. Was dry trimmed on day 124.
