Week of 10/19-10/25
Heavy feeding on Weds 10/21, continued LST on all plants, seeing a lot of tops, very excited. Maybe 1-2 weeks from flowering.
Another heavy feeding on 10/24. Really wanting nutes to correct PH issues from prior weeks. Still seeing necrosis on mid leaves so I may have needed to go harder on notes when first spotted. 3/5 plants look fantastic but the DSD and the BB are still seeing spots and browning. Continue LST.
Might transplant this coming week to 5 gallon and give it a couple days before flipping. Or another week, we shall see. Seeing a lot of tops on all plants, the LST is working like a charm. Might remove and let grow up too.
We are close to flower! Just gotta get her ready with wrapping up LST, considering a trellis net, and getting PH/nutrient issues fixed.
Hello, curious if anyone has thoughts on issues with plants. Thinking cal mag deficiency and/or overwatering. I wouldnโt rule out nute burn, chlorine issues, PH fluctuations. Some plants stunted, very small distance between nodes and leaf chutes.
Any advice for checking trichomes? I have a loupe but just purchased a digital microscope. Images look great, I can get really close up comfortably. Curious where on the plant one should look, multiple locations, etc. I think Iโm shooting for 10-20% amber.
Try to look at the part of the bud where pistils grow from, its green but its not a sugar leaf. Also consider that some buds may mature faster than others so you could harvest some before the others.
I haven't grow Banana and Blackberry..
But I can definitely tell you then the Dos Si Dos #33 will makes you happy ๐ฑ๐
Pay attention at the stickiness ๐ฅ๐
Have fun ๐๐ฑ
@Spider, hello! These ladies are currently sitting in 2 gallon fabric pots, and will transplant and finish in 5 gallon fab pots. Thanks for stopping by :)
I had a similar problem with my Banana Bomb in week 4 of veg. They seem to be more sensitive to ph imbalances then other strains. My other Delicious Candy plants got the same incorrect ph water for a couple days at the same time and they barely noticed it. I grow RDWC though so proper ph is vital. But ya, just wanted to let ya know it prob just ph and to pay extra attention to the ph for the Banana Bomb in my experience so far. Bad ph will lock out your nutes and do that to your leaves too.
@russrahl, good to know! Rookie mistake on my end on my first grow, but plants are looking healthier after correction. Just had to defoliate some nasty dying leaves but tops looking healthy. BBs got hit the hardest for sure. Thanks for stopping by :)
