Welcome! Audrey has officially entered the flowering stage. I caught the first couple white pistils on her today while taking photos. When they get a little larger they should start showing up. I think she probably has 1-2 weeks of a stretch phase left in her before she kicks into making buds full time. I've kept her low, so she's only about 6 inches off the pot. Personally I'm good with this. I hope she gains another 12-18 inches in height, but I'd rather she build out than up.
Health wise Audrey is doing good. Slight nute burn from the most recent feeding where I fed her a bloom booster, molasses, and epsom salt, but it seemed to have done the trick. pH is stubbornly at 6.5-6.7 range still, and while I'll keep trying to bring it down at a certain point I'll just let it go. I've brought the humidity down to between 35-45% for the flowering stage, temp is remaining between 77-80 degrees F. No more LST; I'm letting her grow naturally from here on out. Perhaps some defoliation at the end of the week because her LST has led to a thick bush. With signs of flowering, I'm hesitant to kick to 12-12 unless there's no major improvement by the end of this week (last grow she grew her first few pistils then just never flowered). We'll see there.
I'll update throughout the week. Good luck with your grows! For Rock and Stone.
UPDATE DAY 46: There's definitely pistils beginning to show. My apologies for the awful pic of one, they're super small still. I'll hold off on kicking to 12-12 until next week, let her do her thing and hope this really is an auto seed. Also picked up an AC Infinity inline fan to replace my broken Vivosun, and while it's not pushing as much air it is getting rid of the smell finally. Back to stealth grow! Temperature is going to be up around 80-82, but I'm willing to deal with the increase.
UPDATE DAY 48: Audrey has hit a growth stretch and starting to really move! I'm hoping to see flowers pop in the next week. That will be my indicator to keep her at 24-0, but if she doesn't have them by Friday next week it's 12-12 to kick her flowering into high gear. I've cut out her Grow Big entirely and am feeding her just bloom nutes to trigger that switch. Also, pH is finally at 6.3. She's also taking in tons more water, about 3L every 3 days. Going to have to continue adding more water to intermittent waterings.
UPDATE DAY 49: Going into Week 8 I've decided to do my last LST session and my only defoliation/lolipopping of the grow. Since she hasn't started growing flowers and she's fairly bushy, this is a way to open up the last few nodes to light and prep her for packing on buds. After the LST she's taking up most of the 2x2 tent, which is exactly what I want. My goal is to have her take up the majority of the square footage rather than the 1.25x1.25 section she was previously.
From what I can see it's a healthy mix of Cloudy and Clear. Look for 30% amber for a harvest sweet spot on your plant.
Always look to the buds and not sugar leafs when checking! 🤘😤
Hello!
what a nice looking plant you got there, great job!
Soon you'll be able to enjoy the puffs of this delicious strain ehehe
I'm actually writing and tasting it, as I just harvested mine a few weeks ago eheh
Good luck with the remaining time, happy grow
@TheGourmetWeed, I have an end date I have to keep to due to company, but I intend to run her as long as I can! NL Autos can take a while; some people on Grow Diaries ran theirs 18-24 weeks!
@4RockandStone, thank you for the kind words :D
If you followed my diary, then I really give you a good piece of advice. Let it be a couple more weeks than I did.
I regret now harvesting so soon as the effects could be stronger.
@TheGourmetWeed, thanks man! I've been looking at your diary the past few weeks to gauge what to expect with this NL Auto. Hope it turns out as well as yours!
