Week 13, just about in the harvest window! I'd say the window should start this week. Audrey is looking good. The flush last week got rid of the nute burn. I'm doing very little feeding at this point, don't want to starve her but any additional nutes she can pull from her leaves. The sample we tried last week was pretty mild in effect, so that mix of cloudy and clear trichomes seems on point. Waiting for some to turn amber before I consider a full harvest. Pistils somewhere in the 50-70% brown range, lots of curling. Colas are fat and falling over in the tent, so not removing her again until harvest. At this point it's the waiting game. We'll try another sample sometime mid-week I think and report back. Daily pictures, as usual! I'll try to include at least 1 trichrome picture for each day from different buds for accurate representation. Good luck with your grows! -4RockandStone
UPDATE Day 88: So a few things to report. Some fan leaves are starting to fade, and lots of the sugar leaves and brown pistils are curling inward. Buds are becoming much more exposed and noticeably fatter. She's pushed out a few new white pistils on buds, but they're grouped up. I'd say 70-80% of old pistils have browned. More trichromes are cloudier than this time last week, but no amber yet. We're going to take a sample tomorrow and report back, so stay tuned!
UPDATE Day 89: We took a sample, the sister bud of last week's sample. Immediately noticed a difference of about 1.5x in weight on the scale from last week. Like last week, we ended up trying it in tinctures after decarb of 60 minutes at 115 Celsius. Way better results -- both of us experienced a longer, stronger head high. Lot more energetic, we rated it around a 6-6.5/10. Only disappointment was no body vibes yet. We'll keep waiting, but we're officially in the window! No amber trichromes, so my guess is they'll show up in the next week.
From what I can see it's a healthy mix of Cloudy and Clear. Look for 30% amber for a harvest sweet spot on your plant.
Always look to the buds and not sugar leafs when checking! 🤘😤
Hello!
what a nice looking plant you got there, great job!
Soon you'll be able to enjoy the puffs of this delicious strain ehehe
I'm actually writing and tasting it, as I just harvested mine a few weeks ago eheh
Good luck with the remaining time, happy grow
@TheGourmetWeed, I have an end date I have to keep to due to company, but I intend to run her as long as I can! NL Autos can take a while; some people on Grow Diaries ran theirs 18-24 weeks!
@4RockandStone, thank you for the kind words :D
If you followed my diary, then I really give you a good piece of advice. Let it be a couple more weeks than I did.
I regret now harvesting so soon as the effects could be stronger.
@TheGourmetWeed, thanks man! I've been looking at your diary the past few weeks to gauge what to expect with this NL Auto. Hope it turns out as well as yours!
