Nitrozyme - Growth Technology
Nitrozyme 10 mll
So for my 3rd grow, I decided to try out Autopot instead of RDWC. My RDWC prototype didnt work out as planned as there were too many leak points. Maybe next time, when I can get a thicker and more durable containers. This grow's objective is to stock up on my indica dominant buds before I experiment again. So I'll keep the training minimal to just LST. This grow is all about speed and yield. 3/11/2020 - 5 Gorilla Cookies seeds from Fast Buds soaked in 10ml/L Nitrozyme for 12 hours 4/11/2020 - All 5 seeds placed between paper towel inside a humidity dome. Temp at 23, RH 80 - 90 6/11/2020 - All 5 seeds germinated in tissue paper. Germinated seeds transferred to Root Riot and moistened with more Nitrozyme.

Week 2 - 14/11/2020 - 20/11/2020 14/11/2020 - 4 plants chosen and transplanted to its final pot. Another 1 liter of fertigation done. I could have waited for few more days before transplanting but I need to start the Autopot automated system soon as I'll be going away for few days. So on the 24th I'll be starting the system. Meanwhile I'll be top fertigating until the roots have established itself in the Autopot. 17/11/2020 - 2 days ago I've started noticing the first leaves after the cotyledon appear wavy, and then today the first true leaves have a yellowish tinge to it. Could be Cal deficiency. Maybe I should have buffered my coco. I got the Ugro brand which claims to wasted two times and buffered. If it really turns out to be Cal mag deficiency, then for the next grows I should just wash the coco again and buffer it no matter what the manufacturer claims. I have added another 1ml/l of Cal mag into the fertigation today. If the symptom is worsening tomorrow, I'll try foliar feeding. 18/11/2020 - the first true appear more pale and yellowish. I did a cal mag foliar feeding of 1ml/L just before lights off today. I think I'll continue doing this everyday until I turn on the Autopot system. 20/11/2020 - 15gal of water mixed with the following: Liquid Silicon - 1ml/gal - 15ml Cal Mag - 5ml/gal - 75ml Micro - 2.25ml/gal - 34ml Gro - 2.5ml/gal - 38ml Bloom - 1ml/gal - 15ml Diamond NEctar - 5ml/gal - 75ml Rapid Start - 2ml/gal - 30ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 30ml ph - 6.04 EC - 1.2 mS/cm Each pot watered with 4 litres.

21/11/2020 - The leaves are showing issues again. It has patches of lime green. Could be a number of things. Top of the list is cal/mag def, second i would say nitrogen def OR nutrient lockout. The leaves are still perking up and the growth rate is still acceptable. I am not going to increase cal mag again. Will continue observing and lets see how the plant responds after turning on the Autopot. 23/11/2020 - autopot turned on followed by airdome an hour later. Reservoir filled with 10 gallons of water mixed with the following: Liquid Silicon - 1ml/gal - 15ml Cal-Mag - 5m,l/gal - 50ml Micro - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Gro - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Bloom - 1ml/gal - 10ml Diamond Nectar - 5ml/gal - 50ml Aquaburst - 3ml/gal - 30ml pH - 6.11 EC - 1.3mS/cm T - 26 Reservoir is placed outside the tent to reduce temp. 24/11/2020 - The plants are responding really well after turning on the AP yesterday. Decided to do LST for all 4 plants today. 27/11/2020 - Readjusted LST and removed the larger leaves shading the lower nodes. The girls are doing fantastic! I think it has a lot to do with the Airdome causing rapid growth rate.

Week 4 - 28/11/2020 - 4/12/2020 28/11/2020 - Accidentally broke the main branch while adjusting LST. It was a clean cut. I could have taped it together and see if it recovers but decided to just remove the entire broken branch and consider this plant has been topped. My rationale is rather than the plant wasting its energy on recovery, it could use that energy on developing the lower nodes. Should be fine. It has just been 3 weeks and the plants haven't showed any evidence of pistils yet.  29/11/2020 - 5ml/l of Nitrozyme has mixed with 1 litre of water and few drops of aqua burst. Foliar application done for all 4 plants.  30/11/2020 - LST readjusted for all plants.  1/12/2020 - Reservoir filled with 10 gallons of water mixed with the following: Liquid Silicon - 1ml/gal ~ 15ml Cal-Mag - 5ml/gal - 50ml Micro - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Gro - 3ml/gal - 30ml Bloom - 1.2ml/gal - 12ml Aquaburst - 3ml/gal - 30ml pH - 6.01 EC - 1.26mS/cm T - 25 I had to wash the res tank to remove all the sludge bacause of Diamond nectar.  2/12/20 - learned an important lesson about the airdome. Yesterday I added another air pump. So a pump for two plants. I wanted to emulate what I did for my dwc grow. This morning, all four plants were soaking wet and the humidity went up to 90. Two air pumps started creating excessive water vapor and drenched the plants. Immediately removed an air pump and went back to the one pump for all 4 plants. Another reason why more air pump could be a bad idea is, it would be pumping more co2 to the root zone as well and this could mess with the acidity.  3/12/2020 - LST readjusted. All four plants have started showing pistils.

6/12/2020 - LST adjusted for all plants.  9/12/2020 - plant 1,2 and 4 are showing signs of flowering stretch. But plant 3 is still lagging behind on vertical growth and I don't think it's showing any pistils yet either.  11/12/2020 - all 4 plants heavy defoliation done and LST readjusted.

My current light cycle is 18/6. I'm on week 3 of flowering now. Is it possible to increase the light on duration to 20 hours or 24 hours now? Would it stress the plants?

Auto flowering plants are not wonder plants that can work 24/7!! they're just normal plants with a different trait! I'd say leave it at 18/6 since you're already giving them 6 more hours of light than the usual photoperiod plants and you don't want to cause radiation stress to your girls! If you want to try *with caution* increase the schedule to 20/4, I've heard of some people who grew in that schedule with conflicting opinions and experiences. Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)

26/12/2020 - been noticing for the past few days plant 2 and plant 4 leaves having interveinal chlorosis. My initial diagnosis was micronutrient deficiency like iron or magnesium and the pH has always been 6 - 6.2 which caused poor absorption. Perhaps but the other two plants are doing great. Either way I brought down the res Ph to 5.8 and did a foliar spray of Cal mag 1.5ml/l with few drops of surfactant.  1/1/2021 - Reservoir filled with 10 gallons of water mixed with the following: Liquid Silicon - 1ml/gal ~ 15ml Cal-Mag - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Micro - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Gro - 0.5ml/gal - 5ml Bloom - 4ml/gal - 40ml Aquaburst - 3ml/gal - 30ml pH - 6.00 EC - 1.02 mS/cm T - 23 Defoliation done for plant 3. Several lower nodes removed and LST readjusted.

6/1/2021 - major defoliation done for plant 3.minor defoliation for plant 1,2 and 4. The nutrient issue from last week seems to be under control, meaning it's not progressing.  Trichomes inspection done for plant 1. Both the bud and the trichomes have a tinge of purple. Pretty to look at. Generally I would say 2/3 has turned cloudy and its within harvest window. Sounds about right. Will be finishing week 9 in few days. I think 1 week of ripen, then 3 to 5 days of Kleen, would be just nice to harvest. But the other plants are so far away.  Since I'm using autopot, I can't have a different nutrient regime just for one plant within the same system. So I though of making my own reservoir from a 7 gallon container I already have. Nothing complicated. Just make a hole to fit 7mm rubber grommet. Then use 7mm OD tubing and connect it directly to the pot of plant 1. Right now waiting for the grommet to arrive.  8/1/2021 - Reservoir filled with 10 gallons of water mixed with the following: Liquid Silicon - 1ml/gal ~ 15ml Cal-Mag - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Micro - 2.5ml/gal - 25ml Bloom - 4ml/gal - 40ml Aquaburst - 3ml/gal - 30ml pH - 5.95 EC - 0.92 mS/cm T - 23

Week 10 - 9/1/2021 - 15/1/2021 9/1/2021 - plant one connected to a 7 gallon container filled with 5 gallons of water mixed with 95ml (5ml/l) of Ripen. Made a 7mm hole just nice for a rubber grommet and a separate tubing for plant 1 autopot. 12/1/2021 - The smell has been getting stronger past week. I'm not sure if the carbon filter needs replacement or the plant smell is just too strong. Every time I walk pass the grow room, it smells like freshly baked cookies. But other times it smells like someone is cooking spiced meat or sausages. Weird terpene profile. With enough curing time, I'm guessing this is going to be one amazing smoke. 15/1/2021 - plant 1 removed from autopot system and flushing started with 3ml/l of flora kleen. This will continue for 3 days before harvest. For plant 2 and 4 - GHE Ripen started. I just used the previous mix for plant 1 and diverted the tubing to plant 2 and 4. The previous nutrient mix continued for plant 3 since its 2 weeks behind the other plants. Minor defoliation done for plant 3 Trichome inspection done for plant 4. I'd say its 70:30 cloudy/clear with minimal amber trichome. Hence why I decided to start ripen instead of another week of regular nutrient mix.

Week 12 - 23/1/2021 - 29/1/2021 26/1/2021 - plant 2 and 4 harvested as planned. Did wet trimming for both plants. Didn't take long at. Both whole plants hung to dry.  Plant 1 which has been drying for a week now, taken down and dry trimming done. The buds were slightly loose and the smell is not very prominent. No hay smell though. Let's see if it improves after curing. Plant 1 dry weight came to 48 grams.  29/1/2021 - Flushing started for plant 3 with 3ml/l of florakleen in 5 gallon of water. PH adjusted to 6.0. This will continue for the next 3 days followed by harvest.  Plant 3 trichomes are mostly cloudy now with less than 5% amber.

Week 13 - 30/1/2021 - 5/2/2021 31/1/2021 - plant 2 branch breaks easily without bending after 5 days of drying. Total dry weight for plant 2 came to 24g. Rather disappointing. It didn't have enough time to recover from the accidental topping. It was too close to flowering.  1/2/2021 - plant 4 taken down from drying rack. Total dry weight came to 68g.  I had enough time to do a quick wet trim on plant 3 then decided to just cut it down today instead of waiting for another one or two days.  7/2/2021 - after 6 days of drying, the small branch breaks easily. The total dry weight for plant 3 came to 74g. So all together the total harvest for all four plants is 214 grams. An underwhelming yield for sure but you learn from your mistakes. Looking forward to my next grow. Moby dick and critical Jack. And there will be a major upgrade to my grow space. :)
