Zkittlez autoflower - First Grow

11/15/20 Initiated germination on 11/13/20 filling a shot glass full of distilled water and dropped 5 autoflower Zkittlez seeds from ILGM. After 24 hours, I poured the shot glass and seeds into a paper towel which I then put into a plastic bag and left in my grow tent at 75 degrees. 12 hours later, I checked on the progress and thus far, 3 out of the 5 seeds have taproots. Will continue to monitor over the next day to see if any more seeds sprout roots. 11/16/20 The remaining two seeds sprouted taproots. All seeds were planted in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. Two of the seeds were planted in 5 gallon grow bags. The remaining 3 seeds were planted in different sized bonsai pots. 11/17-11/20 I had trouble keeping the environmental conditions consistent and ended up short cycling my ventilation system, humidifier and heater to stay within my desired range for temperature (72 - 82 degrees) and humidity (65-85%). My ventilation fan was too powerful so it would immediately suck the heat and humidity out of the tent causing the temperature and RH to fall below ideal the idea range within the span of 10 minutes. I would then turn off the ventilation fan and let the heat and humidity build up over the course of 45-60 min before they exceeded their ideal range and the ventilation had to be turned on. I also couldn't turn my lights off for 6 hours each night as temps and humidity would fall to a suboptimal level. I ordered an oscillating fan and decided to hold off on using the ventilation fan until my seedlings got through their second week. By simply opening the intake vents and introducing the oscillating fan, I got my conditions to even out for a much longer period of time. My seedling growth felt very slow when I compared my progress to other grows. May need to take some additional measures soon if I don't see progress.
