The past week came again with challenges and had worried at least twice.
1. Power Cut
Unfortunately, we had a power cut and I have a mechanic timer plug that stopped running when the power was cut.
Power was cut 30min before lights out and remained off for around 4hours. Once the power came back on the lights switched on again for the remaining 30min in the middle of the dark cycle.
Then I made some mistake when correcting the mechanical timer and the timing cycle was completely off, which I noticed by chance as I walked past the tent during the dark period.
I was stressing a lot, wondering if it might trigger the ladies to re-veg or even become hermaphrodites and develop pollen sacks.
The lighting issue was resolved within 36h and I monitored the ladies closely over the next days.
Luckily the lighting issue didn't seem to cause any real issues. All looks fine. What a relief!
2. Nitrogen Toxicity
I noticed some extreme leave claw/curl on the shogun lady with the snapped main stem.
She recovered fairly well from the main stem snapping but seem seems to be way more sensitive than the other shogun lady.
I stuck strictly to the Biobizz nutrient schedule which I have also done with my previous auto flower grow during which I had not a single issue.
But this 70% sativa strain is definitely nutrient-sensitive.
I watered twice with PH neutral water in the attempt to resolve the issue.
I will leave out the Biobizz Bio-Grow with the next few feedings in an attempt to reduce nitrogen build-up.
Even though Biobizz recommends Bio-Grow during flower.
The Critical lady seems to have no problems with the feeding schedule and is less nutrient-sensitive.
I noticed that there might have been a slight stunt in development due to the lighting issue and feeding issue during this week but all in all, I seem to have been lucky.
No major long-lasting issues seem to be present.
I am welcoming any tips, tricks, thoughts, and ideas from you guys.
