So, my days are a little messed in terms of regularity of posting BUT the girls ARE 23 days old so, that's week 4 including germination, and week 3 of veg. I think.
It's going OK I think. I now have 3 bears rather than 3 plants by which I mean, there's a baby one, a mummy one and a daddy one! Or something like that. I have retained runty girl, and she's improving, and one is going nuts and the middle girl is doing OK too. Surely it cannot be THAT hard to have 3 the same size given they all started the same, are in the same pots with the same lights, in the same medium. Or is this just a 'dirt growing "thing"'?
No nutes yet - plenty left in the Biobizz Allmix I think but that said the plan is to introduce Fishmix this week now we're close to flowering, and then obviously it'll be Bloom and Topmax to the finish!
Oh, and these will run with no LST or anything else other than basic defoliation from the bottom up, and some leaf tucking here and there. I had planted these out with the view to LST'ing hence the offset in the pot but have since changed my mind (and may again in the next day or two!!) The reason is simply that this is my first grow with this genetic and I want to see what she does before I try altering her, so I am not expecting huge yields, but I am expecting to learn and am recording the progress so I can hopefully improve, when it comes to running this genetic again.
Thanks for reading. ๐
Edit:
I'm using NOTHING but harvested rainwater for the girls, although I only started that at week two, when the heights were already different between all three, and runty girl was already properly runty, so, it's not the consideration in terms of analysis when it comes to trying to work out why they are so different. Anyhow, yeah.... rainwater because my local hydro place said "try it - it works" so I am.

My rainwater is checking in at PH 6.2 so that's kinda nice. I know the Allmix will buffer but still. With my last grows I knew the mineral make up as it was on the bottle (I used bottled spring water) but I feel less confident using something that without testing, and would likely change day to day anyway, but then nature would be random anyway right?
I can confirm that BioBizz All-Mix might be a little bit too hot for this strain. I grew two Black Lights CBD Autos along with two Sensi Skunk Autos on my south-facing balcony last summer. All of them were started at the same time in small cups with BioBizz Light-Mix before I put them into 11l pots with BioBizz All-Mix two weeks after germination. Although I didn't fertilize, the Black Light CBD Autos showed signs of nitrogen toxicity, while the Sensi Sunk Autos were doing fine. In the end they recovered and although it could have been better, it was still a pretty good harvest.
@StuG69,
Yeah, this is going to be interesting. Iโve also seen autoflowers go into flower early and then turn into midgets because of stress caused by cool and rainy weather conditions lasting for several weeks. However, this fortunately wonโt be a problem when growing indoors.
Anyway, itโs good to hear that your runty girl is picking up :)
This has been my favorite strain so far, btw.
Good luck!
@Krautklaus,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I think perhaps I should have researched a little better before assuming that the straight to final pot - in Allmix - would be OK for this strain. I think assuming that as my other runs - Zkittlez autos and Bubba Kush (photoperiod) took off straight away in Allmix, the Black Lights CBD autos would too.
The above said, the runty girl is now showing signs of picking up but is still 50% behind in terms of size compared to the other two, but I am glad that I resisted the urge to pull her. It'll become interesting come harvest, if I have to run her extra time to flower as I use my tent for drying so I may have to start thinking of a plan B! ๐
@MarsHydroLED,
Hey, thanks! Loving the light - really get great results from the TS1000. Is the TS2000 that much of a step up for a 80cm X 80cm area? I can get 3 plants under the TS1000 but think maybe I could get at least one more with the TS2000 in the same space? Or maybe I should get a 1M X 1M tent and then run the TS2000 in it?
Thanks again. ๐
