I see your point, and my approach to that contest was to make some really advertising like pictures, because it said related to mars hydro – and so I want to show that brand name of course.
What defines something to be „best picture“ is very subjective I think. Is it important to show big buds or should it be technically perfect? Do they want to see great light or an unusual perspective? There is so many criteria and that makes it really hard to tell what's the best picture.

@MarsHydroLED I just harvested my plant after a long run. It started more than 3 months ago but I finished it within the limits set by the contest. The contest, anyway, doesn't allow me to add the picture

Yep, it's official these contests are a complete joke.. the only reason these three pictures one is because they showed the mars hydro lights in it.. There are way better pictures. Aside from that, there are multiple diaries. Many others, including myself, could not include pictures from even though we use mars.Hydro products to grow it.. i only use Mars hydro lights on every single grow. I've ever done and I was only able to pick from a couple diaries..GD is a joke straight up .. i can't wait for Zamnesia Seeds or one of these other seed banks to realize they could make a platform just like this.. fastbuds did it.. for all I don't know, grow diaries is umbrella under fastbuds.That's why you see fast buds.Advertising everywhere and not paying a dime for it.. every single update it gets worse and worse, and what sucks most is I have a lot of seeds from a lot of breeders, and they're about to be out of seeds, because i'm about to be done with this b******* website.. I'm just gonna tell them about how they're paying fast buds to advertise, they're seeds on this site.Many don't even know what's going on

@gottagrowsometime, my pics we're in my mars hydro tent, and you can see the words mars hydro all over it plus I have a mars hydro fan .. i think they just wanted the light.The more than anything in the picture.. It's all good. I'm happy for whoever won as I always never expecting the win.Anyway cause I never do

YOU NEEDED to showcase a mars-hydro project. Anyone CAN add they use mars-hydro stuff.
One of their ITEMS needs to be in the pic.
I do agree though in some regard. Same ppl winning DOTM/MEME every few months.
If you win DOTM you should be void from being able to add a diary. Allowing more users a better chance. The site needs adjusting.
But, on this. You're wrong. The pics need to include a mars-hydro product.

@Cauli, correct and again congratulations... It's just really hard to tell exactly what they want.. You showcase their light with your flowers, which is probably a big part of it.. At the same time, many pictures add mars hydro in there somewhere weather on the inside of the ten, pour the fan.. but for them using it for advertising purposes, I completely understand.. well done 👏

@MsrsHydro why can't I participate? :( I bought your controller and ventilation system and another plant, everything is going well with them, I just don't have any of your lights, that would be a great chance to win, but I can't share the photos, after all, in my finished blog 1 month ago, it's great, I used them from the beginning of the grow to the very end :( this proves that I make videos and photos every week :( I need your lights until I create my perfect grow space.

@Naujas, I don't want to be a smart as* or something, but, did you make sure, that, in your diaries, you selected the hardware (lights, filter, frame,...) from hydro?
And then you picked pics from said album.

@growdiaries Can you please explain to me why I can't participate? My last completed grow uses a Marshydro weeder, and a Marshydro weeding system with a controller, but it doesn't let me choose a blog so I can upload a photo!!!!!!.
