How do you defoliate?

How do you defoliate without shocking your plant? I wanna strip some leaves from my jungle to open it up. I dont wanna hurt my girls though. What are some rules to follow to ensure I dont hurt my plant?

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Wow she's a big girl.. Well done.. Ok ur best and easiest way will b to work on 1 branch/arm at a time.. Personally i like to leave 1-2 sets of ur big leaves on top.. These are her main solar panels.. Start to take away any of the large leaves that come directly of the branch(they usually have a long stem) and work ur way up remembering to keep those top sets of leaves..work ur way around each branch doin the same.. I know it seems like ur damaging her but she will b fine and all part of the technique .. I wudnt take any other leaves coming from flowering sites until she fills out again.. Ideally u can do this part of a weekly schedule to make life a bit easier for urself in future.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

Hey gardener! Apparently, it's not complicated; you just need to remove the top leaves that block light from the lower branches, and you just have to push down on the leaf stem with your thumb so that the leaf falls off without damaging your plant. Good luck to you, bella ciao!

As a general rule, should I cut off fan leaves that show abnormal growth... for example the RG's curling upwards or wilting. Most of the new growth from all the clones in this diary are growing normally - so are the fan leaves showing damage of various sorts better removed?

LOOSE THE LEAVES or LEAVE HER ALONE I believe they are just finishing up the early flower stretch. Do u think i should do more thinning on the Bruce Banner(right) or leave her as is? Defoliate or not yet?The breeder (AutoSeeds) says they work better if you don't LST to much and focus on the main cola. Should I select a few of the large leaves and defoliate them to get more light in the middle. Just don't want to pick the wrong ones. Hope I have enough images to help you help me.
