I'd top at the first node but I would wait until the branches have developed a little bit more.
I think you want to create your manifold as soon as possible so you can start to train your main branches only! 👌

Mainlining not so symmetrical?I started my first indoor grow off with mainlining and 2 of my branches are growing nodes in a staggered formation, whereas the other 2 are growing symmetrical nodes. Does anyone know why this is happening?

New nodes after topping very small, should I top more?I topped my plants a few days ago, but just the tips when the side nodes where just as little as a few mm. I've seen a lot of you topping like a whole bunch of the top. I mainlined my plants but I dont know if I should top them again so the nodes under the top become main nodes.6y ago

remove lower side branches that are stretching outwards to focus on main cola?some of the the lowest growth shoots started to stretch outwards (some stayed short).ideally I would prefer one nice long bud.should I remove them? (maybe 2 or 3 in total)or better to wait until 21 days flowering.

Cutting off growth below node to be topped before topping dayI am mainlining the girl for an outdoor summer grow. I'm planning on topping next on the 3rd node after the 4th node is a bit more developed. After topping, I will remove nodes 1 & 2. Striping below the topping when manifolding? First time attemptingSeen a million different videos and techniques, just curious what method is best when manifolding/mainlining. Some people strip everything below the 3rd node when they initially top, some leave the bottom growth. Stripping means the plant will focus on new growth up top im aware.Techniques. Main-lining
