It mainlining which is a form of high stress training. It basically forces the plant to concentrate all its growth and thc production to a select group of bud site and is more of an advanced technique. Some strains benefit better from it than others. As mentioned, as with all forms of high stress training, it’s not recommended to do this with auto flowers but with photo periods. the reason being that photoperiods can be given enough time to recover in their veg state, where auto flowers do not have enough time to make new growth to compensate for the losses. Some growers reported high stress training causing auto flowers to flower even earlier than they are supposed to, greatly affecting the yield. so people usually recommend low stress training for those.
