Is everything okay and normal with my seedling or to be seedling? Is it supposed to look like that before the first 2 cotyledon leaves appear? I’ve grown before but never seen this appearance on a seedling rising above the ground. Alwaysseengreenleavesrightaway.Healthyplantsigns?

It looks great. I love those initial breaking soil photos. If you can keep a very close eye and check her every few hours you can slowly watch her progress from an odd little fleshy stump to slowly raising her stem and flashing those first leaves. Dont worry. Dont over water. And do give her a nice humid area to rise into. (Sometimes a little plastic wrap over the top does a good job or something similarly transparent). Happy and healthy growing. ✌️💚🌱

Hello @cookiefarmer! Yeah its normal. Did you move the seed shell? Try to keep them in humid environment. Some times the shell membrane stack at the seedling if its to dry and the seedling deforms. Happy growing ! 👊

It is just trying to turn around. Everything is fine! Make sure to place it under light now. All you need at this point is a small cfl light bulb about 6-10 inches away.
