I have been scoping out things looking for trichomes and I definitely see cloudy ones and a few amber. Should I begin to flush? I thought 8 weeks was a bit short... but.. Should I start flushing or wait? Should I use Just ph'd water? or a flushing agent? any details apreciated?

Hi Pete7776, Because you use coco, one week flushing is enough for your Lady. In coco soil the nutrients dont "stick" so heavy as in soil.If you start now or in a week is your descision. I would wait another week, the pistils are mostly white on your plant. so i think one more week is ok for her. you can stop the nutes(because of some burnt tips) and give her some deliscious blackstrap- molasses instead. its pure carb, she will like it. In addition i have a link for you where you can read about harvest and flushing.....https://www.growweedeasy.com/flushing. Happy growing

Based on your pictures, I see the trikes are still praying outwards like reaching out, you want to wait until they've curled back (thats the cloudy) once you see them do that, it'll be another 10 days maybe more. You've got a few weeks ahead of you still - which is normal. Just keep an eye out for ambers - but defo use a magnifier to figure it out. Good luck my friend - looks fantastic.

Hey there so by the look of your photos many of your pistols still could use a little more maturing. In regards to the trichs it all depends on you preferred high. The more clear there are the more racey the high can be. Wheres as the higher number of amber will start giving a couch lock high. So typically I've heard of people seeking a 20% -40% amber with the remainder being cloudy for the balanced "perfect" high. If you're adding flushing supplements, I would say at least the last 3 days before harvest stop adding anything to your ph'd water. Black strap molasses is a good option as its all natural, it sweetens buds, and fattens too, it also doesnt require flushing the way bottled synthetic nut/supplements do. I'd say pick a bud and check trichs each day for progress, and begin flushing in about a week. Many blue dreams are finished around 10 weeks. I hope this helped in some way. The buds look nice already. Happy Harvest time. ✌️

You want to wait to flush until 60% of your trichomes have turned cloudy. Then you can begin the flush. Some people wait until 70% for a more body buzz. You can also use the pistol color meathod (less accurate). Wait until 70%-90% of the pistils have turned red and begun to degrade. Since you are growing in coco coir you should only need to use plain pH’d water. It is not necessary to use a flushing agent as coco coir doesn’t hold or contain many nutrients.
