Hi Mate, Like everyone else has mentioned below the draw from the wall can actually be very different from the stated power consumption. You can check the information on the led driver to see what its operating wattage should be. Either that or if you have a sparky mate you can ask to borrow his "Kill-A-watt" which measures in-line electrical draw from a power outlet. Peace

Hey there 👋 It’s all about the true watts- as it what your light is actually pulling from the wall- not its output. I’ve got two 1000w leds in my tent (3x3) each ones pulls a true 110w. So even with 220w, I’m running at the bare minimum. I’m still seeing lovely results- just know even if it says 1000w, most less expensive leds are actually rated lower Happy Growing 🌱

Be careful! Check out the specs of the light. Is the output truly 1000 watts from the wall? A lot of purple lights will say that, but be closer to 150 watts.. I would recommend checking out lights that uses "LM301b" or equal quality chips if possible. If it's 1000watts, It will need to be dimmed, or hung way up high for seedlings.
