It's definitely an art form! I start by selectively de-leafing the main "problem causers" to increase light penetration to the bud-sites.
- You could stop here for starters. You can always wait to remove more later, it's tough to add the leaves back to the plant!
Then, from there i'll thin out the mid leaves, to allow greater airflow and light penetration throughout the canopy.
There's definitely a balance of removing too much, vs too little.. you can only really gain a feel of through experience, and from watching how the genetics are growing, and how they're reacting!
